Open to Change… No Asthma, No Sinusitis & No Bronchitis

by E.A., Dusseldorf, Germany

A good friend of mine gave me an Esoteric Healing session and it felt so wonderful in my body that I wanted to learn the techniques. So I went to England and did some healing courses with Universal Medicine. I was quite astonished because I could feel that my body was not as racy anymore (all the time), and that I could really heal my body.

Because of my way of living my body was at that point about to develop chronic asthma – up to 4 times a year I usually got sinusitis followed by bronchitis or the other way around. I was always craving sweet things, too – most of my food intake consisted of sugar. I was so racy that sitting down and resting was not easy for me.

When I got back home from the healing courses I changed my way of living. I started to cook gluten-free, dairy-free and nearly sugar-free for my husband and me – he loved it because I had never cooked before. I stopped eating cakes, cookies and chocolate – that was so surprising for my colleagues at work.

I had always loved going to bed early (at 9pm) and getting up around 4am, but because this was different, everybody told me I had a sleeping problem. It was so good for me to find out that there was no sleeping problem and that I was just following my body’s signals.

I have never felt that I am in a ‘sect’ or that I am a ‘follower’ of Serge Benhayon. I only felt that I was a 47-year old woman who was open to change.
And change I did!

Now I am 50 and have no asthma, no sinusitis and no bronchitis – only sometimes a bit of craving for gluten-free cookies (I am still dealing with that!) – and my colleagues and patients like that I am so still now! It’s funny, isn’t it… what could be wrong with that?

In my life I have learnt that what heals must be true – I have used my own body as an example. So I can confirm that what Serge and Universal Medicine present actually works. I no longer resist with raciness, but embrace the joy of change, and it’s not so exhausting either!

There are no words to express how thankful I am to Serge Benhayon and his family and all the other Universal Medicine practitioners… I am just starting to bring more love into my life, to myself and others.

  1. E.A, I understand how the body feels after we let go of things that no longer serves it. I too struggle with that last bit of sugar. But what I sometimes find challenging is other people’s reactions when our food choices are different to theirs, and that label of being fussy is pulled. However, irrespective of the labels or anything else, may I say, I will not be drawn to going to back to my old ways, not when the body continually signals to me when it is happy with my choices, and when it isn’t.

So in the meant time, I will continue to live more and more in a loving way, even if it is far from perfect and at the end of the day, I can ask only one question. Who’s perfection are we meeting?

  2. Gosh it is a worry when it is seen that people who are looking after and taking more care and love of themselves are doing something wrong!!! Like surely it should be the other way and we should be worried about those that are not taking care of themselves? Inspiring to hear how much has changed for you ✨

    1. Yes Vicky go figure that, when the ‘norm’ is being exposed, and the ‘abnormal’ is being highlighted. We are so far from the truth of those labels…

  3. A lovely and simple testimonial of how making changes in our lives does work. It may not come with fireworks but you can sleep better at night and feel content.

  4. When we fight our natural way of being, it depletes and exhausts us – this is a very helpful thing to discover and to feel deeply so that we can then be in a position to make the needed changes.

  5. Your story describes so well similar outcomes for those that study with Universal Medicine in that we feel so much more still, joyful, and loving, and the choices made for our bodies often result in greater health and wellbeing. If we look at the state of the world today and the widespread global illness and disease, chronic pain, anxiety, depression, misery, suicide, and addictions to distraction and stimulation (amongst other things), and then look at the attack on Serge’s work and that of those in the past who presented the Ageless Wisdom we can see the two go hand in hand.

  6. Absolutely EA, ‘There are no words to express how thankful I am to Serge Benhayon and his family and all the other Universal Medicine practitioners’. We and all of humanity are so blessed to have Serge Benhayon and his family in our lives, and in our world today.

    1. The Benhayons are indeed a role model for us to be inspired by and learn to live with this same level of integrity and dedication and all done in a real and practical manner in life.

  7. Raciness can become so normal that we are not even aware we are racy! Yet, once you feel stillness you truly feel the poison that raciness brings to your body through exhaustion and reaction.

    1. Raciness is a tremulous vibration that makes us vibrate at a frequency that prevents us from merging with life. We stand out in relief from Life rather than being at one with it. There are so many things that cause us to be in separation from Life, emotions are just one of them.

  8. If taking away certain foods from the diet alienates symptoms or results in the complete removal of a health condition then we really need to redefine what we call ‘healthy food’, and do so from the body’s perspective.

  9. For me what Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine have presented in regards to energy being that which underpins everything has changed my life. Change the energy and life changes, don’t change the energy then life can still change but it will eventually all feel the same once again if not instantly.

  10. To be able to say something is true because that is what we have experienced in our body is very powerful and completely different from blindly believing and following some sort of ideals. Some may try to argue or deny, but the truth remains true.

  11. It is so great to bring back self-empowerment and self-responsibility into the realm of medicine – that we can effect true change in our conditions by simple lifestyle choices and the commitment to truly caring for ourselves, however that may be for us. We need to ask also why it is viewed as so strange to do so, when the worlds economies are being crippled by the ever-increasing burden of health care and the ever more blatant control by pharmaceutical companies to keep the status quo in their favour. Not to say drugs are bad, but that why are we divesting ourselves of the responsibility we hold in our own health and expect a pill to fix the years of poor choices we have made.

  12. Beautiful and thank you – for the appreciation is deeply felt in your words. I can say too that my life has shifted immensely by virtue of applying the tools given by Universal Medicine that reconnected me with my innerheart and th ageless wisdom.

  13. Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine present another way to live in this world. We are then free to look at this way of living and decide if we want to try it out (or parts of it) in our own lives. You tried it out, and look what happened for you. You are now brining more love into your life – what a miracle. And I smiled at the bit of showing your colleagues it is possible to not eat cake! So many work places LOVE their cake moments.

  14. “I no longer resist with raciness, but embrace the joy of change, and it’s not so exhausting either!” Interesting that we use raciness to resist listening to our body but I can very much relate to what you say here EA. I was always on the go, thinking I was busy and productive without looking at how I was within myself and the affect it was having on other people. It was only when I began to understand that I was avoiding feeling my body and all its messages to slow down and feel what is really going on, that I began to make changes to the way I was living.

    1. The key word for me is resist! what do we resist and how hard do we work to resist it? We are using will to resist and in my experience when I deny myself something it is only a matter of time till I am so exhausted from resisting that I give in!!! So with everything it is not about what you are wanting or doing but why. Perhaps the key is to take the label of good or bad off everything and just see it all as a choice to stay true to the energy you are from and live that, or try to dull and change it and work hard at that.

  15. With chronic asthma, (from the year 0 to 35) constant allergic rhinitis, general lack of vitality and lacklustre all changed when I began to make simple lifestyle choices. True change that is long lasting really is possible.

    1. I have to wonder if the power of lifestyle choices and the body-centric model of self care will be able to take off without resistance from those that profit from illness, such as pharmaceutical companies…?

      1. Yes, an interesting question, Melinda. With self-motivation and self-empowerment to make long lasting changes to our health by making different choices, will certainly rattle the cages of the pharmaceutical companies who may lose out on profiteering from our sicknesses. But if there is mass change on a wider scale the only thing the companies would be able to do is to follow. I don’t imagine all illness and disease will be eradicated, but it will demand that these companies become more responsible.

  16. The current medical system is in overload with all kinds of people with all sorts of conditions. But somehow it seems people have forgotten to really look after themselves, and it is like they have lost their motivation to do so. I was one of those people who had forgotten some basics and through much of the work I have done with Universal Medicine I was reminded of the basics (that I already knew). But more powerful than this was the fact that Universal Medicine helped me find the connection within myself and the purpose to look after myself more and this is what really made it possible for me to implement those basic changes – without the willingness or the purpose to look after yourself, even if you know what to do it can be very difficult to do it, and hence you can fall back into old un-supportive patterns. Making change has to come first from the inside as an inspiration to love oneself as one truly deserves and not as a chore or a box to tick to say one has done what was needed.

  17. Absolutely amazing to feel how such simple changes can be so powerful in supporting your health. Now imagine if the rest of the population in the world with Asthma put in place even a quarter of the changes you have made….people would live a far more greater quality of life AND…imagine the costs we would save on our health care system!

  18. ‘…what heals must be true’ – I love the simplicity and wisdom of this line for there is no greater marker for truth then the body and how it responds to the energy we allow to fuel it – be this love or be it not.

  19. We can bump with the same stone over and over and over and simply think, this is the way it is… Alternatively, we may realize that this is something we create (or at least feed) with our choices. The first one leads you to giving up, the second, opens up life for you.

  20. E.A., it is amazing to read about your changes to your daily choices and how this has improved your health. What I have also found is by reconnecting to my essence (the soulful and true part of myself) it’s becomes natural to want to lovingly take care of myself, therefore it’s not a case of discipline or willpower to eat well or otherwise take care of me, so unhealthy foods or behaviours, etc, just drop away and changes made result in greater joy.

    1. Caring for ourselves is naturally joyful, there’s nothing arduous about it but when self care is imposed from outside of us (either by us or by others) then it can often be a temporary and rather empty thing that ultimately is unsustainable.

  21. Agreed, there is such an enormous shift in so many of us, and we are all more willing to take responsibility for the way we live. This should be encouraged not vilified, but clearly we have not been brought up to embrace that level of responsibility and therefore is a challenge.

  22. Yes thank you Serge Benhayon and all you stand for and have shared with us as a way of living that makes such profound changes in the way we feel in our bodies and move.

    1. Simple changes yet so profound and life changing just as you have shared Lucy…. we are blessed indeed to have met someone like Serge Benhayon.

  23. Letting Love into our lives seems so simple and in reality it is and then our life becomes simpler as well because of the deeper understanding we get from being connected to our essences as this is innately who we are and have all been searching for.

  24. Simple changes that have always basically been felt and when we start to adhered to them we can make the most extra-ordinary changes because we starting to honour our body and respond because at-least we are starting to feel what t is like to be gentle with the way we are living then this becomes our most natural and innate way to live.

  25. I was having a discussion just the other day when a friend told me that someone in her family would eat dairy knowing that she would regret it later and spend the night on the toilet in pain. So, why is it that we are willing to put the body through that and not learn from it? I suppose it’s no different than alcohol as we often drink that until we are sick and then vow never again, only to then go and do it again.

    1. I don’t think we talk properly about addiction Julie and that is why we succumb to eating or drinking something that will harm us in the short or the long term. To let go of that pattern of behaviour you have to commit to understanding why the need is there and address that otherwise you are just willing yourself not to do something and eventually you will crack.

    2. It’s definitely about having that deeper understanding of what prompts us to make such unhealthy choices for ourselves. The most obvious part is the behaviour as that is what we can see, but long before we reach for the dairy or the alcohol there is a lot happening within ourselves, things we are aware of and are not able to cope with, feelings like sadness or anger arising, interactions between ourselves and others that are not loving, and hurts from our childhood surfacing to be felt, etc. There is a world underneath the physical world that’s very active and although we have chosen to not be fully aware of it it’s still happening. If we can receive support from an esoteric practitioner to heal these underlying triggers and let them go we can more easily replace our unhealthy behaviours with self love.

  26. If trying things out, testing how it feels in the body and keeping what works and discrding what doesn’t is cultish behaviour – so be it. It just means that something that makes complete sense is rejected out of hand because it has rocked the boat of comfortability somewhat.

    1. Indeed we are quick to label ‘weird’ anything we do not (want to) understand because we have a vested interest in holding onto an ill way of living that causes us more harm than good.

  27. Most people around us are racy and live on sugar based products and coffee, I was no different and have changed this too. I discovered so much more of who I am and I keep refining my diet as our body is such a sensitive system this asks fine tuning constantly in order to feel vital and clear.

    1. Annelies I didn’t realise how much fruit was racing my body, things like sugar, honey, agave, etc were more obvious but fruit has such a label of “healthy” that it took me a little more time to connect the dots and see the effect. I used to just think of myself as nervous but once I eliminated sugars my body was much more settled.

  28. Having congestion in our sinuses and lungs is a sure sign that something we are eating or doing is not suiting the body. Prior to attending the presentations by Serge Benhayon I also suffered from asthma, sinusitis, stomach conditions, bloating and then gave up gluten and dairy and recovered. I haven’t carried an inhaler with me for over ten years now.

  29. When I was younger I suffered asthma attacks when I ran and pushed my body so hard that it could no longer cope any more. I saw the asthma as a negative, something wrong with my body and to work through rather than the beautiful message it was to stop pushing my body beyond what it naturally wants to do.

  30. Our body is such a finely tuned vehicle that will always show us the consequences of how we have been living.

  31. It’s crazy that sleeping 9am-4pm can be called a ‘sleeping problem’ when so much of the world ignores the cycles of day and night and will work, watch TV or party into the very late hours or early morning, and sleep in well after the sun comes up. Could there be a preciseness to when we have the light and the dark?

    1. If you feel rested and vital when you wake up, without needing stimulants like sugar or coffee to get you going then how is that unhealthy? Yet the norm of coffee, sugar, carbs and dragging ourselves out of bed in the morning is not an ideal life but it is tolerated. The lesser state is tolerated and the truly healthy lifestyle is dismissed, ignored, attacked etc.

  32. From a very young child I had asthma and constant allergic rhinitis. No doctor, at any point said that giving up dairy would help the mucus to dry up. (I expect this is because there is such a drive in the dairy industry that milk is ‘good’ for you and this is where you get calcium from, that we don’t see past this). It was only until I went to a nutritionist in my early thirties that explained giving up dairy and gluten would help… I gave it a go… and it worked.

  33. It shows us just how off track we are or can be when we don’t even realise we are living with or in a raciness all the time, let alone anxiousness, nervous energy, stress, exhaustion. That is the absolute beauty and blessing of Universal Medicine and Serge Benhayon’s Sacred Esoteric Healing Courses where an opportunity is offered to us to stop, be, feel where we are at, clear what is not us and embrace the truth of who we are from deep within. I have been going to the Sacred Esoteric Healing Courses for over 10 years now and never ever ever tire of them and never ever will. They are pure Gold and Absolute Magic ✨ But the best part is knowing we have this within us all the time wherever we are ✨ The Gold and Magic is within us.

  34. Being opened to change is so vital as without it we are completely stuck in old ways, which means that no true growth can occur.

  35. Simply being OPEN to change can absolutely transform our lives. All too often we downplay the importance and value of observing life and letting things unfold without trying to control the situation, as this opens up an enormous amount of space where we have the clarity to know exactly what our role is within the incident or interaction.

  36. It can feel very liberating to be free from symptoms, its like having life back again. But I often find that this is only the beginning, that to be handed life back again is how we start to actively be a part of life, to take responsibility for our part, and to contribute to society in full. So it never stops with just feeling great as if this was the end goal, but rather everything starts with feeling great.

  37. Sugar is such an addictive substance and very destructive for our body, as are many other foods which can leave us feeling heavy and bloated, so it makes common sense to change our diet, your sharing is a great testimony to the choices you have made.

  38. ‘I could really heal my body’. I love this sentence, it is so very true yet society dismisses it. Yes, the doctor, consultant, nurse, Esoteric practitioner can all support us but it is us who truly heals our body. This truth brings the responsibility and in my opinion, rightly so, to be in our hands.

    1. We can heal through the way we live, via our choices. They are the most potent medicine available on earth.

  39. Wow, I love reading your blog again E.A. I know a few people who suffer from Asthma and I wondered how much of their lifestyle choices affect their condition. What you’ve shared is huge and you make it sound so easy, fun and achievable. And, speaking from my own experience, I can say that it is in fact easy to make loving choices and improve our health and vitality.

  40. What Serge Benhayon presents is so very practical and that is why it works. It is simply learning to live what is deeply felt within us all and that is that we are love and that we come from love.

  41. Isn’t if funny that we see it as a sleeping problem when people go to bed at 9pm and wake up at 4am yet not when someone goes to bed at 12pm or 1pm and gets up at 6 or 7am (or maybe cannot get up at all because they are so tired that the only thing that can help is a cup of caffiene!). Also that we do not see it as a sleeping problem when people cannot go to sleep because they are so hooked on social media!

  42. Raciness is, of course, a consequence of our sugar intake but your sugar intake is also of a pattern of movement, of someone who does not wish to connect to people. It is a body that moves in disconnection. The fact of lung conditions is only natural.

  43. Look what happens when we listen to our bodies and use common sense as a base line – miracles!

    1. Yes, I agree miracles certainly do happen when we listen to our body. There are many examples of when I got myself out of dangerous situations by choosing to listen to my body and follow its loving guidance.

  44. “In my life I have learnt that what heals must be true – I have used my own body as an example.” For me that is really the best way to find out what is a true healing and I am sure if more people with sinusitis or bronchitis problems would choose to eat gluten and dairy free they would also get this healing too.

  45. Its interesting, this restlessness we can feel in our bodies. I notice the difference in myself, whether its a taping foot, drumming fingers, or a mind that is whirring over the many problems and thoughts – or is there a deep settlement, a stillness that is palpable in what I do and feel? I’ve noticed in others as well – some people seem unable to sit still and fidget showing the tension inside.

  46. I always find it interesting that going to bed early and waking up early is seen as abnormal even though I feel so much better since doing this! And not to mention the huge levels of exhaustion in people could suggest that the late to bed late out of bed rhythm is not truly vitalising for the body as this is the current trend. As you say the truth is seen in the body very clearly.

  47. Not dismissing our body and what we feel can be challenging sometimes if others are saying that you have a problem just because you’re doing something different to what they’re used to, like with the sleeping you describe! But at the same time it’s simple to not take that on and instead just honour what we know our body is truly calling for.

  48. I find reading about lived experiences like yours EA so very inspirational. This to me is the true evidence of how changing your lifestyle can change your life. Unfortunately results like this are rarely accepted by some sectors of the medical community as they don’t fit into the rigid criteria that is used for medical testing, but for me and many others it is indisputable evidence that what you eat can have a very harming affect on the body.

  49. ‘In my life I have learnt that what heals must be true…’ Reading these words has brought another level of stillness to my body that feels so confirming. An observation of such profound simplicity.

  50. I just had a visit from my nephew and he tells me that by drinking very little alcohol compared with his usual amount and by taking exercise and eating healthily he has, for the first time, not had any asthma or colds and coughs in the whole of the year. These behavioural changes can make a huge difference.

  51. Before I had some Esoteric Healings and attending the Universal Medicine courses my body was so racy that it felt like I was rocking from side to side, on the inside when I would try to sleep and then on waking up in the morning, I could feel it was still there. Thankfully this is no longer the case.

  52. “In my life I have learnt that what heals must be true – I have used my own body as an example” – This is awesome, using the body as a detector for truth and not reacting to how it responds but instead maximising the learning opportunity offered.

  53. Our lifestyle makes such a big difference to our health and well-being and there is heaps of advice out there about what is and isn’t good for us that is often conflicting but if we listen to our body we have a marker for what is really true for us and something that we can keep tuning in with as it unfolds and changes or develops over time.

  54. I think most of the human race lives in some sort of raciness and unless we are given stop moments or healing sessions, few of us actually get to feel how bad that raciness actually is.

  55. The part where I found a struggle is by accepting things as they are, to actually observe our world and my own living inside it — see that we have crossed many oceans but actually did not have allowed myself to see what is there and what is not there. To stop pretending to be right or wrong — but to commit to a way of living that actually allows change and bring part to our world — a new fresh absolute look, a commitment that is bright and one day is being lived by many and many more.. until we all commit to such truth of living. Until one day we do not longer need our existence on this plane of life.

  56. Stopping and really feeling what is going on inside is difficult for so many people. Their nervous system is active all the time because they keep ‘doing/doing’ and eat and drink things that stimulate them. The Universal Medicine healing modalities support in learning to stop, feel and heal yourself. What a Heaven sent gift.

  57. It is so important to see what we feel in our body to be true even though it might not be how everyone else is feeling like in your instance with going to bed early. It is very wise to consider that the fact that many people do it does not mean that it is true.

  58. Its interesting that we wouldn’t consider our body to be racy, or think that it is abnormal until we experienced an Esoteric Healing session, I certainly felt the raciness was me, and becoming more intone with the bodies sensitivity shows how far out of a natural stillness we go.

    1. I agree. I had no idea that I was once in constant low level anxiety and raciness. That was my normal, I thought it was simply who I was. I didn’t know that there was another way and that this way of being was not my normal, only that my normal had been heavily skewed.

    2. I have felt the same after an Esoteric Healing session and sometimes when I meet someone who is moving in stillness, this is enough to make me aware of how racy my body feels. How incredible is that? Also, no words needs to be exchanged in these types of communication, it seems our body is able to communicate fast and at a deep level without words. The power of reflection is what I am learning to appreciate.

  59. So simple – it is actually when we are open to change magic occurs. When we allow love in our body receives a blessing and so to do the people we interact with. The greatest gift we can give to each other is the love you choose to be present in your body..

  60. I remember at at Universal Medicine workshop, Serge Benhayon was going to present on reincarnation. He preceded to ask the audience to be open to what he was going to say, and that we did not have to agree to any of it, but just for the next half hour or so, be open to hearing what he was going to say. And of course, we were free to do with what he shared as we liked.

It was fascinating. I had many pre-conceived ideas about reincarnation and was pretty much a non-believer but this approach had me curious. Just be open. No pressure or even hint of one to agree with what was being presented.

Then everything changed for me after that. I put my pictures about reincarnation aside, listened to what was being presented. and for me it made sense, and my body was almost nodding of its own accord.

Being open to change is quite a remarkable thing – as my story and your story attests to.

  61. Yes I too suffered with sinusitis for most of my life and sore throats often needing medication, but now the changes made to my daily living have completely diminished any sign of these illnesses. Supporting ourselves through our movements to care, love and cherish our bodies is a simple way to bring life back to our choices and the care in which we greatly deserve and that’s true responsibility.

  62. Our respiratory tract, as well as all the other parts of the body, do such an amazing job and deserve to be treated with care and respect. It is this connection with our body that then informs us how to live thereby taking the guess work out of what is supporting us or not as the body readily gives us the answers.

  63. Taking responsibility for our bodies and the choices we are making in life can only come from us and a commitment for more in our lives. It just makes so much sense now and does take a level of self love and dedication to truth to make this a constant way of being for all.

  64. “I was a 47-year old woman who was open to change” – so simple, yet so powerful that some people want to reduce this ‘openness to change’ into being a follower.

  65. If there is one thing I have learned from the teachings of Serge Benhayon, and there have been many, is that it is never too late to make changes in your life. At 55 when I attended my first presentation from Serge my life was a mess and every day was a struggle, and now at almost 68 I feel the best I have ever felt and I know that there is so much more to come. This huge change in me is simply because I chose to bring self-loving choices into my life; a very wise decision that I celebrate every day.

  66. Our body tells it as it is – the message are crystal clear but we like to turn a deaf ear and continue eating and drinking and doing what is ultimately self-destructive. And the food industry complies by coming up with ever more concoctions and flavours that don’t really deserve to be labelled as food.

  67. I use to suffer from sinuses quite a bit every few months, I loved diary and cheese. When I started to eliminate dairy from my diet my sinuses disappeared. I was so pleased as the sinus pains use to be quite intense and sometimes I just had to stay in bed. My body really tells me if at any point I have some diary my sinuses start to feel the pressure.

  68. This is a great story of how when we take responsibility for our health we can save the health system a huge amount of money.

  69. I have found Esoteric Yoga also a great support in allowing me to reconnect to my true self and allow myself to move in stillness.

  70. A wonderful aspect of Esoteric Healing is how it can highlight raciness in the body. And so it does not take this away as such, but rather helps with the awareness of it, which is part of the healing because then we can make choices to end that feeling in the body. So Esoteric Healing is totally empowering, and this is extraordinary.

  71. Is it not funny to think you were going to bed at 9am and people who were abusing their body and life by going to bed late at night said that you had a problem. I am guessing now they may say you have an eating disorder. How silly we humans are.

  72. Great to read and truly inspiring. This just confirms our health is up to us and the choices we make.

  73. I also had sinusitis, asthma, constant colds, bloating and a general feeling of being run down. Since being inspired to make changes in my life through Universal Medicine and Serge Benhayon all of these ailments and symptoms have disappeared.

  74. So much has been said about how Serge Benhayon brain washes people (which is one of the greatest lies of our time), but so little has been written, in the mainstream media on the fact that is shared here. Those who come across Serge and his teachings are actually looking for change. The most magnificent thing of this change is that it is all our own choice. And, for many that change has brought a greater vitality and strength to the body along with a greater love and understanding of ourselves, others and humanity as a whole. So change is actually necessary if we want to see a marked improvement in our illness and disease levels, a responsibility that is forever up to each of us to individually embrace.

  75. It is interesting how people thought you had a sleeping problem when your sleep routine was actually very supportive. I used to think people waking up before 4am was not normal, but what is normal when normal doesn’t actually support us?

  76. Such a simple changes in how you were living helped you to not have sinusitis, bronchitis and asthma anymore, that is really amazing! Many don’t want to go there because we think we don’t want to let go of our treats and sweets but I found this is often just in the mind and when we give it a go it works really well.

  77. ‘because this was different, everybody told me I had a sleeping problem’ – As a society we are so quick to point out and judge choices that are outside the norm, particularly those that expose disregarding habits such as poisoning or exhausting ourselves etc…. All the more reason why it’s important to live truly loving lives and SHARE this, to present another way.

  78. Gorgeous EA! And I think you summed it up in your opening line: you were open to change. Most people are not, and are far more comfortable maintaining a status quo that is, well, comfortable. Change shakes things up, and most sense that change in one area of their life might herald change in another, particularly as those around them react. It depends how committed you are to living what feels true once you’ve had a chance to glimpse what ‘true’ might be – which is exactly what Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine offers us: a template for true.

  79. Life now to life a few years ago before I came across Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine is as different to night and day. No comparison. Before; riddled with anxiety, lacking in confidence, a mess really and becoming a social recluse, not wanting to work or anything like that. My body slowly but surely suffering as a result. Now: I am solidly here, with a confidence that comes from within and that holds me steady as a rock and I’m fully engaging in life, successful, engaging and my body at 42 looks younger than I did at 32. That’s thanks to the work of Universal Medicine. Our bodies tell the truth like nothing else.

  80. The raciness that is discussed here is something that you don’t even know is impacting you and your life until the foods that are causing it are stopped and your body is allowed to settle more into its truth. Though it may be difficult to feel that truth, keeping the body racey is in fact causing it to work faster, harder and longer than is actually needs. Could this be part of the reason our bodies develop illness and disease?

    1. I have found it difficult to detect or become aware of raciness when I was so used to it. It was apparent to me when I meet someone who lives and reflects stillness. I wasn’t aware what raciness did to my body until I stepped out of it. It causes all sorts of ill effects which I am glad I am now more aware of and choosing raciness less and less.

  81. There is more and more evidence coming to light proving how our diet, emotions and behaviours, have a great effect on our bodies, health and well-being, as has been presented by Universal Medicine from day one. Yet all the while the greatest evidence we have is with us 24/7 and constantly presenting us with the truth of our every choice made. Our relationship with our bodies is what allows us to develop our relationship with truth, through which we are guided without fail to know what supports us best to live the love we are here to live.

  82. What could possible be wrong with caring for yourself lovingly? Thank you Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine for turning so many, many people’s lives around by inspiring us all to change to a more loving way of living.

  83. Reclaiming back our body as a vessel with which we can express Heaven on earth through makes the way we treat it very different. I too give indescribable thanks to Universal Medicine modalities, practitioners and presenters for supporting me to connect back to this fact.

  84. We think we have to be racy to get things done but it just makes us tired and exhausted. Being open to change and giving stillness a chance we realise that we have a quality we could not feel before, our bodies feel better, we are less tired and everything that needs to be done gets done in a more natural rhythm.

  85. “In my life I have learnt that what heals must be true” Wow so much is said in these twelve words of wisdom. We will only know true healing through our own experience. Our bodies will show us what is true. We must take responsibility for true healing to occur.

  86. This is amazing E.A, the changes you made are unheard of. At first I couldn’t comprehend how this was possible, to live without eating gluten, dairy and sugar. But I too started listening to my body and found eliminating these food where very easy and hugely loving. I started eating more wholesome and simple foods full of nutrition. Living without eating gluten, dairy and sugar makes me feel so much clearer, energised and much more myself.

  87. Nothing is wrong with that EA! And in fact everything is right with it. And we shouldn’t let anyone ever tell us otherwise. What you, I and 100s of people have discovered through Universal Medicine presentations and modalities is that what is on offer works.

  88. E.A, this is absolutely gorgeous what you have shared – and the willingness to be there and embrace change is the key ingredients in all of this. There is much to appreciate in having turned your life around and healed from the bronchitis, asthma and sinusitis – this is massive! Imagine if all people with such health problems adopted the simple changes that you have…how much would this change the world?! What an inspiration that everyone needs to hear about!

  89. A great point you bring here E.A, that we must be open for true healing to occur.

  90. It really is so simple – living what is true heals us and living what is not true harms us. If we ever were in doubt we have the most fantastic barometer called ‘the human body’ that is highly attuned to the order of the Universe and will let us know in no uncertain terms, the moment we step out of accordance with this. Of course, we also have the free will to ignore this.

  91. Presentations by Serge Benhayon and the Universal Medicine modalities have inspired me to be more aware of all that my body is telling me and when I listen and choose to make changes I can feel the difference in my energy and how I feel.

  92. How wonderful that you were “open to change” and that by welcoming this change into your life your life has definitely changed with some amazing health improvements. This is such a great testimonial to the life changing presentations from Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine, presentations that contain so much wisdom and common sense.

  93. The world certainly needs more true love, so great that you are, ‘just starting to bring more love into my life, to myself and others.’

  94. I love what you say here E.A. “I have never felt that I am in a ‘sect’ or that I am a ‘follower’ of Serge Benhayon. I only felt that I was a 47-year old woman who was open to change.
And change I did!”
    Exactly!

  95. This is remarkable E.A, the changes you’ve made are amazing. It is interesting how many people are not aware that they are living in raciness until they experience what stillness feels like.

  96. Your story could be my story! All the same symptoms gone after a lifetime of asthma! Incredible.

  97. Isn’t it amazing that when we are open to change that change we do, often in so many wonderful ways as have you done. So many of us stay stuck in patterns that obviously don’t sit well with our body and our well-being but we continue to remain where we are all the while wondering why life is so challenging and why we are often sick and exhausted. I am sure that you are delighted that you made the choice to change the way you live, as inspired by Serge Benhayon; I sure am!

  98. ‘In my life I have learnt that what heals must be true ‘, well said and if you apply the simple self care principles
that Serge Benhayon presents you will find they truly work and your body is thankful for this.

  99. Incredible E.A.! Regardless of whether our choices are outside what’s ‘normal’, and if we stick out like a sore thumb for taking care of our bodies rather than disregarding them, sleeping late, eating sugar or salty foods throughout the day etc., if you can feel a true benefit then you should absolutely listen to the impulse to take care.

  100. There is much that can be addressed in our bodies with diet alone, but when a supportive diet is coupled with the loving support we all have to offer ourselves, miracles really do happen.

  101. It’s so simple what Serge Benhayon presents on self care – listen to your own body and allow it to show you what works and what doesn’t. I have also found tremendous positive improvements in my health from just changing a few small things as indicated by my body. Once upon a time for me it was mostly about experts and knowledge and looking outside myself, yet I found that though advice is supportive I have to tailor it to what works for me – after all the biggest expert on our health has to be the body! Body awareness, and honouring and respecting what my body is showing me is certainly working for me.

  102. It’s just so simple isn’t it! The body responds to all we put into it and subject it to. When we don’t want to be aware of that we will blame it on ‘bad luck’ or ‘it’s just happened to me’. I find awareness and change are empowering and blame and comfort is stagnating.

  103. Great blog E.A. ‘I had always loved going to bed early (at 9pm) and getting up around 4am, but because this was different, everybody told me I had a sleeping problem.’ this part simply shows how in tune you were with your body and its natural rhythm and how many of us actually haven’t been honouring this and think it is not normal to go to bed early and wake up early.

  104. I can too confirm what Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine present actually works. I have been to many workshops and course, each time I come away with a deeper understand of myself and my body. Each time I feel I have taken another layer of protection off and allowing my body to heal deeper. I feel a deep sense of joy and connection to my body, then I have ever felt.

  105. I also can confirm that what Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine present actually works….making changes to the way I lived and changes to my diet brought about an incredible turn around in my health and wellbeing. The amazing thing is, our bodies are so ready to work with us in healing when we make the right choices.

  106. Who would say no to exchanging raciness and stress for true joy in life? And the beautiful thing about this is that it is entirely our choice.

  107. Going to bed early is something I have always wanted to do, but like you felt that there was something wrong with me, like I was some sort of social “loser” for not letting myself do what my body wanted. Now I proudly and regularly sleep early.

  108. It goes to show how misinformed the general population are when it comes to healthy eating.

  109. Change occurs naturally in our world and yet as human beings we try to keep the staus quo and keep everything the same. Being open to or even attempting to change our lives can highlight how much we and others resist it. And yet from having changed my ways I have never felt as bright and joyful as I do now compared to staying in my grove.

  110. What a joy-full read E.A. and miraculous change/s. I note how committed you are to make the change. All is possible when that choice to truly empower yourself is made and I am in forever appreciation how Universal Medicine has empowered me to make continuos miraculous changes.

  111. Amazing E.A., these are the sort of lifestyle changes we need to be looking at to start addressing the enormous load ill health is placing on our healthcare system.

  112. We can embrace the joy of change because it is bringing us back to who we naturally are and in that we do not need to be anything else than just us. To be free of all the self imposed ideals and beliefs about life and to live from how we are naturally impulsed by our intuition is making a flow in life that is healing and building a greater understanding and awareness about life. There we find that we are part of a grander whole that is working harmoniously as one. To feel and understand to be part of such a divine creation is a blessing, not only to ourselves but to all of the people we are living with here on planet earth.

  113. I used to have really bad sinusitis in my 20s and it completely cleared up when I stopped consuming dairy products. Then I went back to dairy a few years later because I was craving its comforting creamy baby food-like consistency and was snuffly and congested for years. When I gave up dairy again, and this time it is here to stay, the snuffles and congestion stopped within a few days.

    1. Our bodies are actually so clear in their communication but then the question comes to me why or what keeps us making these choices that makes our bodies suffer?

    2. This says a lot Gabriele, it makes you question, are we supposed to be consuming dairy? For me, I know the answer is a definite no, especially when I listen to what my body communicate to me. It is very loud and clear.

  114. It just took one man, Serge Benhayon, making changes the body needed to display true health. Living in a way that brought the body’s natural healing capacities to the fore AND it’s quite amazing what our bodies are capable of if we release it to be all that it can be.

  115. Its a common theme amongst everyone involved with Universal Medicine, that by making responsible, self caring choices our standard of health, vitality and general wellbeing improves dramatically.

  116. E.A. it must feel great to be not bouncing around of sugar anymore and also to be free of the sinusitis and bronchitis that shadowed you for so long. By making a few changes to your daily life the ripple effect has been enormous for not only you but clearly everyone around you has also felt it and I am sure been inspired by it.

  117. Simple changes in our lifestyle make a huge difference. Caring for ourselves by living in a way that supports our body becomes a natural way of being after a while. I would not go back to my former lifestyle that was making me sick, fat, tired, emotional and unhappy just to appear ‘normal’ as it is currently defined by the many.

  118. It feels amazing to step off the wheel of addiction, be it to sugar, coffee, carbs, TV, sex etc. At the time it doesn’t seem possible to stop as the pull to go back keeps coming up from a body that is needy of something to prop it up and get it through the day. When you start to care for yourself a fullness, completeness and sense of self-worth return that nourishes the body.

  119. It is true that Esoteric Healing helps you to heal the body and you can end up with reduced or removed symptoms (as many blogs would attest to). But so too do other healing modalities appear to heal or cure our ills. So what is the difference? For me one of the big differences is that the healing is not about getting rid of symptoms. The real gold is in rediscovering the simplicity of your body and through that the divinity in every aspect of yourself and life. The other big difference is that no one puts energy into you to change the way you feel. With Esoteric (innermost) healing, the healing comes from within.

  120. The success of Universal Medicine and its teachings is documented in hundreds of testimonials from people around the world with astonishing health improvements, similar to this account.

  121. The sugar thing is really interesting. I abused sugar when I was a teen (up to when I have turned 18 that I decided to quit and I did). If I try to go back to those years I only get a fuzzy grasp. Could it be a reflection of the racyness produced by the copious amount of sugar I consumed?

  122. So many resign themselves to a life of chronic ill-health whilst consistently making choices that keep them in that ill-cycle. Just as you have discovered – asthma, bronchitis now a rarity – Healing does not necessarily meaning not ever being sick, but so many of us live less that the true vitality and joy that is inherently possible and that we could make our new normal. It is worth giving it a go.

  123. I have never heard Serge Benhayon say ‘don’t eat sugar’ .. i have heard him present on the effects of sugar on our body, and have experimented with cutting down on sugar to verify this for myself. so I can say from my own proof of experience that cutting down sugar has an enormously positive effect on my health, and my body feels more fluid and rested. So now the choice to cut down comes from my own lived experience and not because there is a rule or that someone has told me to do so – neither of these would ever work, but rather the wisdom of my own body is what guides the true choice to be made.

  124. This is a testimony to the power of the Esoteric Healing Modalities and how you got to re-connect to your inner-most and from there just knew what you needed to return your body to heath.

  125. Great to re read your blog and realise that I can no longer remember when I last had sinusitis or bronchitis. Bronchitis used to a regular thing, something I would have at least once or twice a year and it has to be over 5 years now since I last had it and my sinus issues have changed too. I really believe it comes down to the changes in my diet and all the healing I have done and I so appreciate the support and inspiration that I have had along the way from Serge Benhayon, his family and all of my many friends who are living The Way of The Livingness.

  126. What a powerful little blog, it just cuts through all the crap about belonging or following someone.
Have we become so jaded as a society that we accuse someone of being a follower or apart of a crazy group when we see they are living a healthy more balanced life style? We are currently experiencing a rapid rise in illness and disease around the globe and Universal Medicine is empowering people to make different choices for themselves, to reflect on how their on choices affect tier everyday health and well being, this coupled with modern Western medicine supports people to not just become another statistic.

The question we should be asking is if we continue to live a ‘normal’ socially acceptable life style are we in fact in danger? In the UK in 2013 there was 352,197 cases of new cancer recorded, that alone is enough for me to say maybe what is ‘normal’ i.e. eating loads of sugar, driving ourselves on nervous energy, staying up late, consuming alcohol daily, could contribute to the stats we are seeing? Because even with all the new research on cancer we are not seeing a drop, we are seeing an increase, and that begs the question of are we open to change?

  127. Yes changing how we are can bring up so much in the people around us, it’s not ever worth giving up on our contentment from our changes, just to keep other people feeling comfortable.

  128. I love how you have been confirmed in what you knew to be true. The body is always wanting to give us a guide to our choices, and it’s awesome you choose to listen to your body, even when no one around you was able to validate this for a long time.

  129. Making lifestyle changes rather than going for medication as a first port of call makes so much sense. When I was a homeopathic practitioner many years ago it was commonly known that cutting out dairy benefitted those with asthma and eczema, before any other treatments were necessary. The combination of esoteric healing modalities with western medicine has, in my experience, reduced the need for prescription medicines.

  130. E,A awesome blog. Thank you for sharing I have been blown away by the Esoteric Modalities and have watched mine and my husbands health, vitality and overall love and commitment to life increase tenfold, not to mention all the other people I have come in contact with who have had amazing life changes by being inspired by Esoteric therapies and Universal Medicine. What a gift we have been given!

  131. It is so inspiring to read of the amazing transformations people have made through their choices and the powerful affect these have had on their health. What is so gorgeous is that there are literally hundreds of stories like yours that reflect the extraordinary healing that can be chosen through making loving self-responsibility a choice.

  132. Thank you E.A, I have eaten some sugar today when I don’t normally and it feels very unpleasant in my body. This blog feels like a huge support and it makes me want to investigate why I am choosing food that makes my body feel yuck when I know that there is another way to be. I love the fact that you are so honest and not judgemental towards yourself for eating cookies. It is clear Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine have been a huge support to you and I can certainly say the same for my own experience with this man and organisation.

  133. You write “In my life I have learnt that what heals must be true” – and I have found this as well. There is a vast difference between truly healing old issues and just managing them, in whatever way that is. And the body changes as well, as demonstrated by your story and the fact that you no longer get asthma, bronchitis or sinusitis.

  134. A beautiful and simple sharing. A few simple lifestyle choices making a huge impact on your way of living. Thank you for sharing.

  135. Come to think of it, I used to get bronchitis every few years and it would last for months at one point I was told I had mild asthma. It was a strange thing, because I rarely got sick, except for this awful chest infection. Since actually looking at my lifestyle choices and how I live and continually refining and experimenting with more loving ways to be with myself, I haven’t had this infection for approximately 6 years. That’s amazing.

  136. That’s pretty amazing to have cleared all those ailments through your commitment to chnaging old habits and patterns in your life! There is so much on offer here through what Universal Medicine presents, we simply have no idea the magnitude of what is possible within us.

  137. Gorgeous, I always knew that we could heal our bodies and we didn’t need external help. It’s amazing to get this confirmation everywhere I look now 🙂

  138. “I only felt that I was a 47-year old woman who was open to change” – I so love the simplicity about this. I used to have so much to complain about every aspect of my life, and I kept changing its details but ‘I’ never changed so the life stayed tasting the same – so in the end I realised that ‘I’ was not that open to change after all. It’s so gorgeous feeling the joy you are embracing with the choices you have made for yourself through getting to know Universal Medicine.

  139. The first time I had a esoteric healing session I felt something I had never felt before- it was a very deep settling within- I felt like I was home- coming home to me.

  140. Thank you EA for a great sharing, it never ceases to amaze me when I read stories such as yours at how simply changing our diet which is more loving, can have such healing effects on our bodies. The proof is in the pudding so to speak. Thank you to Serge and Universal Medicine for presenting and reflecting to us what true medicine is all about.

  141. Healing chronic asthma by changing how you live. Now, that is a miracle. Let’s imagine doctors know about this and tell you to try changing how you live instead of prescribing ventolin in resignation that there is nothing that can be done about it except to manage its peaks.

  142. There is a great sense of coming back, when choosing to live the different way that is presented by Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine. It isn’t about what is deemed normal but what we feel to be normal for us.

  143. Thanks for writing this blog and sharing it. I am sure there are many who have had sinus issues or other breathing difficulties and have just accepted them as normal, but they don’t have to be and you and I are living proof of this. Change is a choice we all have.

  144. I was just appreciating for myself just the other day, before I came across this blog, that I haven’t had bronchitis or asthma for over 6 years now. Incredible really as I used to always have sinus issues, not be able to leave home without a ventolin and bronchitis was a regular occurrence in my life. In fact, in reflecting, I haven’t owned a ventolin for at least 4 years which is amazing. Asthma is no longer an issue in my life and I will say that has absolutely everything to do with the way I live these days and what I choose to eat thanks to being inspired by the Way of The Livingness.

  145. That’s a great motto, when it heals it must be true. As it is a the truth when something fully supports us to live our live in a healing way, we can only conclude that it is true. It is a great thing to learn trough our livingness.

  146. There is always something new to learn especially if we have illness or disease. Your results cannot be argued with EA. great health results speak for themselves.

  147. EA thankyou for sharing so simply your experiences of Universal Medicine. I especially liked this line “In my life I have learnt that what heals must be true – I have used my own body as an example. So I can confirm that what Serge and Universal Medicine present actually works.” I agree – after trying many different alternative and complementary therapies it wasn’t until I found the work of Serge Benhayon that I truly started to heal, this includes both the modalities he offers as well as his general presentations about self care and other topics. What Universal Medicine offers actually works and my body and inner well-being is also testament to this.

  148. “…A 47 year old who was open to change..” You throw this sentence away as if it were nothing special. But I want to stop and appreciate you for that. It’s so massive. I am of a similar age as are many of my friends. And I know so few people who are like this, who are genuinely open to change. Sure, some might say they are, but there are still plenty of patterns and locked-in ideals that mean they are only open to conditional change – on their terms. In my view, to be truly open to change, is really all we need to do, because then everything will be shown to us (especially since we already know it all!!). And that is what is so glorious about the way in which Serge Benhayon presents – absolutely zero imposition. An offering to those who are open that there is perhaps another way. Full respect and appreciation to you for being open to seeing this and then perhaps changing your way.

    1. There is a deep wisdom here Otto about why so many people of all ages are so open to change from the work of Universal Medicine, and it is because of the complete lack of imposition from Serge Benhayon on what he presents. Serge has inspired me to understand there is a profound learning about the space we offer others, with nil expectation or investment, and the love we choose to be, and hold others in. Any impositions truly interfere with anothers ability to make loving choices for themselves. The simplicity Serge does everything with is true genius.

  149. I so love reading how diet change is so supportive, but I love even more that their is a deep love of self that rises from within that triggers us to care more deeply for our body’s, through diet, exercise and a general honesty in what supports our body and what doesn’t.

  150. E.A, this is gorgeous to see and feel how you have embraced such change in your life! And look at the repercussions or consequences – this is amazing how you no longer have such problems as asthma and bronchitis – this is much to be appreciated and shows the power that lies within our own hands and hearts to make true and lasting change.

  151. Awesome blog- thank you for sharing this. It has helped me to reflect on some changes I need to make in how I am living.

  152. I love this EA. A simple and clear message – we have the power to change our life through our choices.

  153. I find it interesting how when we have a signal from our body, and a very very clear one too, that is telling us to go to bed early to truly honour, rest and support ourselves for the next day we actually call it a ‘problem’ because it gets in the way of the otherwise dishonouring, disregarding and unloving patterns we may want to live in

  154. It’s interesting that this new sleeping pattern was criticised by others as a ‘sleeping problem’. I’m a morning person too and love to go to bed when I feel the day come to a close and I become tired, usually around 9-9.30pm, and have also been teased by friends who think that it’s weird, strange and means that I have no social life (as ‘everything happens after 9pm’). The norm in today’s society for teenagers is to go to bed anywhere between 10.30-1am on a regular school night, waking up at 7.30-8am. In my opinion and observation this leads to a lot of exhaustion, and very little space to get prepared in the mornings before College.

  155. How beautiful is that! “I no longer resist with raciness, but embrace the joy of change, and it’s not so exhausting either!” – to surrender to the pull of love, the pull of where we are coming from and it is constellated that we are returning to. No wonder that it is less exhausting to follow this pull than resisting….

  156. ‘In my life I have learnt that what heals must be true – I have used my own body as an example.’ And what better way to conduct research into what is healing than by a dedicated lifelong study of one’s own body, the ultimate marker of truth and reflection of lived experience.

  157. It continues to amaze me that our natural rhythms and natural ways to be are constantly denied and treated as strange. I have overheard mothers talking about trying to fix their children because they go to bed early and get up early. These same people talk about being exhausted yet don’t appear to follow the clues of their own rhythm….and I have been guilty of that too. Why do we resist? I have noticed a lot of opposition to the changes I have made in my life, yet when I look back I know that when I wasn’t ready to hear about it, I also reacted against others living to their true rhythm. I was in a consciousness that insisted that this was a strange thing to do. So, I felt where I had been and felt what it was like to be on the other side of where I had been. It is totally possible to be in denial of true health and then turn it around. For me it’s no sinusitis, no hay fever, no constant colds and no eczema among other things. For me that doesn’t sound like following anything but good sense.

  158. Being open to change is a tremendous thing. I have seen how changes in just one person can cause ripples throughout friendships, marriages, families, the workplace. Change gives us all the opportunity to see that there is more.

  159. It is very easy to get stuck in our ways and to accept that the way we, and those around us live, is normal and we resist change. But when we realise that our stuck ways are just a habit and are open to change, it offers the opportunity to listen to our own body and experiment for ourselves for what truly supports us to feel more alive and healthy. Serge Benhayon presents from his own lived experience the power of choice.

  160. If someone can call going to bed early (around 9pm) and waking up early (around 4am) being in a sect E.A. then I am definitely in one!
If you call wanting to understand what’s really behind illness and disease, violence and murder, global catastrophe and the corruption of the human being at large being part of a cult, then I am definitely in one!
Though I cant not help but notice how every other animal on this planet strictly obeys the innate rhythms of nature … but not us humans. What is really going on?

  161. It is incredible the gift of healing that is given to us simply by choosing to listen to our bodies. In your case E.A, it feels your whole new rhythm and way of living helped you to clear your lung issues – but what s clear that it is our responsibility to not try and fix and ailment, but to live in a way where there is no room to allow ailments in the first place.

  162. I have also found myself looking for words of depth and meaning that could express how amazingly appreciative I have been for the support and inspiration that Universal Medicine shares. And there is something very beautiful in this moment to experience, for in this I have felt a huge expansion of love and appreciation within my body and it has come from a ‘knowing’, rather than ‘saying’ or ‘doing’ and I feel it can be felt by those who are appreciated.”There are no words to express how thankful I am to Serge Benhayon and his family and all the other Universal Medicine practitioners…” I have found that for me it has been about learning to walk with them, to step up and to express and celebrate the joy and purpose in living life with truth and from love.

  163. I have heard people talk about the problems they have with their kids wanting to go to bed early and get up early, and how they are working on changing them. I’ve also heard people complain about adults who do the same. It has also been my experience that people presumed I had to go to bed early because I was not well. How lovely it is to find out that this is a natural and vital way to live. There is so much resistance to living in a natural rhythm as there is for eating well. it is lovely that your friends and family like the results EA.

  164. Thanks for standing up to speak your truth. I also love that you are getting older and getting healthier.

  165. Beautiful- a lovely sharing about the simplicity of this work but the profound impact it has.

  166. I can absolutely relate to what you are sharing Ester, the presentations and teachings of Universal Medicine and Serge Benhayon have brought so much clarity and healing to my life and others, it is simple and very real and as you say we can really heal our body, truly getting rid of stuff.

  167. Thankyou for your wonderful story, very straight forward and down to earth. Your words about your past raciness and now being very still gave me pause to also stop and appreciate how still I am now and so much more free from emotion. I have stillness and space! All that emotion gone and agitation is a huge blessing. We are all experiencing enormous miracles as a result of Universal Medicine.

  168. If I am not working late I always make sure I go to bed early and I have been doing this for the last 6 years. Before this I would only go to bed at 6pm exceptionally, if I was super tired or maybe wanting to be by myself. at the time I could feel the following day was different, and today I made this my way of living. I feel so much better. People usually get put off by the idea, there is a consciousness that wants people who do this to be labeled, as boring, with no life etc… What could be more important than feeling great everyday?

  169. My sinus issues have also greatly reduced through refining and adapting my diet, sugar in any form has pretty much gone. It happened very naturally, no drama, no regrets, I have just been enjoying how I feel without it. Which is generally soooooo much better than how I did 10 years ago. No one else is telling me to do this stuff, feeding me the lines or dictating a single thing, it all me, feeling good from within.

  170. Your story beautifully illustrates how one simple act, in your case a true gift from your friend, can be life changing. And what an awesome learning “In my life I have learnt that what heals must be true – I have used my own body as an example.”

  171. It is amazing – the moment we nurture our body and make loving choices, our entire life will change. There is no mystery – it is in our hand, every day if we grow or not.

  172. I love to see the personal way of healing oneself, the unique path that each and everyone has to find healing, to let go and open to change. I also love that you are getting older and getting healthier, isn´t that unusual? and something to celebrate?

  173. EA I love your blog. Being open to change is crucial and yet something a lot of us find very difficult. Holding on to old ways of being, old hurts or disregard is the foundation for a lot of our illnesses and diseases in our world. You are a great example of the effects on your body of letting go and allowing change in your life.

    1. Monika R, what a beautiful comment. Allowing change also brings such a simplicity to the concrete like patterns and habits we feel we are unable to change. Allowing change is like a surrender. We can flow with life and our body, instead of resisting and fighting against it.

      1. I love what you wrote: “Allowing change is like a surrender. We can flow with life and our body, instead of resisting and fighting against it. “This surrendering allows us to connect to a deeper level inside ourselves, to more love and more wisdom, something we all benefit from.

    2. We need a foundation in and appreciation of ourselves to surrender to change and like you wrote “a quality of humbleness” to let go of the familiar things and step into the true development.

  174. A lovely blog E.A. from Dusseldorf. You write the simple truth about natural things in life like going to bed early and getting up early. Most farmers or people that live off the land understand this rhythm very well. And what Serge Benhayon presents is also as natural as the sun coming up and going down.

  175. The fact that you have made such big changes to your health is testimony to the very practical and down to earth ‘tools’ that Serge Benhayon presents really do work.

  176. E.A. it’s great to hear about your so-simple yet so-effective changes and how easily you made them. People often think it has to be a monumental struggle for a long time to change, but you show that it’s just a matter of choice. Thanks.

  177. EA, you share so simply how it has been for you, which I think is testament to how Universal Medicine also presents, from the standpoint of simplicity. It isn’t usually rocket science to work out what to eat, but Serge Benhayon was really the first person I heard who explained so simply that food has an energetic influence on how bodies work. I understand now that to be truly nourished, I choose foods based on that energetic influence first, then taste, freshness and presentation. My experience with sensitive skin has been that through eating like this, I no longer have rashes that were always my body’s way of saying don’t put that into me!

  178. This is brilliant and so true, the accusations of being a ‘follower’ and being lead by a ‘charismatic leader’ completely denies the personal choices and commitments people make on a daily and moment by moment basis “I have never felt that I am in a ‘sect’ or that I am a ‘follower’ of Serge Benhayon. I only felt that I was a 47-year old woman who was open to change.
And change I did!” As you describe so well, you felt the benefits of the healing sessions and you attended a course and ‘you’ made choices that changed how you felt. It was your ‘openness’ to what you felt that created the change not being lead by another. I agree wholeheartedly and I am also very open to knowing that we can change our life and heal for ourselves.

    1. It’s interesting Samantha that the media needs such strong words like cult or sect to justify dismissing what’s truly going on with Universal Medicine – amazing stories of improved health and wellbeing, in some cases quite miraculous, as shared in this blog (and others) and the comments. I would think the media would be interested in so many success stories.

  179. Yes, growing up with chronic asthma and sinusitis, i made some changes to my diet and how i was living and my health has improved dramatically, this wasn’t done with a solution to fix myself, it was done by my everyday choices to look after and care for my body, in the way it felt right for me.

  180. Listening to our bodies and embracing the changes that are asked for brings the most incredible improvement in overall health and an unexpected joy of life. This in itself confirms and deepens our connection to our bodies knowing, which continues to improve our health and life, and so it goes, ever deepening.

  181. E.A., you make such a great point about what normal actually is. Everybody’s normal is different, and the more we can learn to trust our own knowing, the better we will all feel and the more we can enjoy life as we cruise through it at our own pace.

  182. Something that makes me wonder. how often do we really look at the things that we do in our life and ask whether they are true for us or not. I know when I questioned why I was eating gluten and sugar, it made total sense to stop eating because i knew how it made me feel. It makes me wonder how many people out there are feeling the same thing?

  183. It is funny how even when we feel something is ‘right’ within our body we will over-ride it to fit in, not be different or because we think we must be the one at fault if it is not what everyone else is doing. However, our bodies are our true markers of truth, “In my life I have learnt that what heals must be true – I have used my own body as an example”. With deepest appreciation to Serge Benhayon to be the living example to show us the way to regain that trust in own innate knowing through our bodies.

    1. Absolutely Jonathan, our bodies are something we can trust and they don’t lie, we can override the signal and pains they show us with our minds, but when we choose to connect to out bodies they always deliver what the real picture of our health is.

  184. Trying to deal with the raciness can be such a journey. I find that although I have been able to settle myself much more often then in the past, I still find developing consistency is a challenge. But I have come to appreciate that the moments of stillness are growing the more I work on every aspect of my life and that others around me are noticing and enjoying the changes I have made.

    1. I totally agree Helen. It’s like cleaning out one cupboard in the house, knowing that the whole house is going to feel different because of it. The consistency comes from applying the same commitment to every area, along with appreciating and enjoying how we are shown what needs our attention next.

  185. ‘In my life I have learnt that what heals me must be true’ and this has always been a known and the more I embrace change, I can feel more stillness. The more I claim my normal to be normal, the simple changes we have made in our lives do make a huge difference to our health. Thank you so much EA for sharing your journey with us

  186. Thanks for the simplicity in which you present your experience EA. It’s awesome to read about how you’ve changed your life for the better, and really given yourself an opportunity to be so much more of you.

  187. A beautiful sharing of how you healed yourself through truly caring for your body with the support of Universal Medicine. It is so inspiring to read of hundreds of students improving their health and well-being through the simple self-care principles Universal Medicine teaches. This is something the Media will one day be lining up to know how people bought true change into their lives and improved their health and well being and reversed their illness and disease – these stories are living miracles.

  188. Thank you for sharing your story E.A. Its inspiring to hear no matter how many times in all the different ways people are making the choice to listen to and honour what their bodies want, through being inspired also to feel that possibility for themselves, by the pioneer of this way; Serge Benhayon.

  189. ‘In my life I have learnt that what heals must be true – I have used my own body as an example. So I can confirm that what Serge and Universal Medicine present actually works.’
We are our own living proof of what works and what doesn’t. You couldn’t have given a clearer example, thank you.

  190. Our body is the only marker of truth and the wisdom to know what works for us and what not can only come from within. This is what Serge Benhayon presents and what he offers us is a way to connect to this amazing changes, like yours EA, as a consequence.

  191. Its so lovely when we find what truly works for us and the raciness stops and sleep is pure heaven as we accept the true rhythm our body needs. My old friends still feel like they think I’ve gone mad or lost the plot but I wouldn’t have it any other way

    1. To have the awareness that quality sleep not only regenerates us but is pure heaven is a really expansive way of considering something we do every day but all too often take for granted.

  192. Change can be so hard when what we are familiar and comfortable with is challenged. But when what you feel in your body is so much less stress-full, so much less racy, so my less bloating, so much kinder to yourself and others then change is not a choice it is a must.

    1. Great point Lucy, change is difficult when we are resisting leaving how comfortable it is to live how we are, even if it’s harming us. We dig ourselves deep into comfort and refuse to leave. We settle for so little not realising how great life can feel once again with a few tweaks.

  193. This is totally awesome – how simple changes in your life can make such a huge difference to your health…. An inspiration. And it’s very powerful you were able to continue expressing the same way and didn’t change the way you lived because others criticised it. Very, very powerful.

  194. Wow dear I loved to read your blog it is so crispy (German translation) – short – light – to the point and truly inspiring – I also feel the playfullness and openess. So great how You could turn your life around by simply just listening to your body and following it. What a great example 🙂 Thank You so much for sharing 🙂 with love Nadine

  195. “my colleagues and patients like that I am so still now! It’s funny, isn’t it… what could be wrong with that?” loved this line! I too have become very still and aware of my body since not eating any sugar or gluten! its amazing. I had totally forgotten what it was like. And now if I eat too much sugar I feel like I’m on a rollercoaster ride and I can’t control my body or mind. its a bit scary to think that the world lives on the stuff!

    1. It is such a joy to sit in the stillness of my body, and I am sometimes amazed by how racy people can be compared to how I feel inside. They remind me of being the same in the past when I used to eat gluten and sugar as well. Now I know the stillness I am inside, I will never choose to have a heaving racy body anymore, so bye bye to all sugar for me.

  196. Thanks for sharing E.A. It’s interesting what the result can be when someone is open to change. What a difference.

    1. Yes great point Emily, when I am open to change so much can change!

  197. Thank you EA for sharing your experience of Universal Medicine and the healing experiences you have had by cooking Gluten free and Dairy and sugar free. I know that they all make a huge difference in most of our lives even though I still get urges to eat sweet things at times. I too can only thank Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine Practitioners for their marvellous inspiration in all areas of my Life.

  198. E.A. thank you for sharing the changes to your health and wellbeing you have experienced due to some simple changes in how you live and eat. Why is it considered ‘not normal’ to take loving care of ourselves with our food choices? Where have we come to as a species; considering we pride ourselves in be the most ‘intelligent’ beings on this planet, while no animal would freely choose to eat what doesn’t agree with them. We think it’s ‘normal’ to ingest substances that do not actually feed our bodies and our cells, but numb us from naturally feeling what is going on around us, and within us.

  199. The effects of the Universal Medicine Sacred Esoteric Healing modalities are really profound in the body. For me also so much is clearing from my body and the level of calm and feeling still is now surpassing my long lived experiences of feeling racy, nervous and anxious. Nothing else I have ever experienced from medical, psychological, alternative or complementary therapies have come close to producing the long lasting and truly sustainable healing provided to me by Universal Medicine. Like yourself E.A. I am a changed for the better person, and that is what’s needs to be shared, not the lies by the media. Thanks for standing up to speak your truth.

  200. The more I embrace change, the more stillness I too can feel. I am finding it is the openess to whatever is needed which allows for the simplicity and space to be felt. If there is any rigidness or holding on to the old, then in comes the complications and subsequent hard work.

    1. Well expressed Vicky! You just disrupt the natural way of going forward, if you keep being attached, how it has always been. What an illusion our mind creates, that not letting go of old ways is the easier way. It is just the non secure, controllable way.

      1. What you say Vicky and Steffihenn is so relevant for me at the moment! One, I never thought of stillness coming from being open to change, it is revolutionary, or Evolutionary?. I now feel that letting go and being open to whatever is now, CAN bring me much more stillness and joy, yes of course!. Two: Being attached is disrupting the natural way of going forward. I am considering now the fact that I need to break the repetition cycle, the repetition of what harms, and you have brought a new perspective. Thanks

    2. Absolutely agree with you Vicky and Ester, embracing change and listening to our bodies is the only way forward in life. And the following stillness brings more joy and flow than you can imagine.

    3. Vicky I love what you say embracing the change that allow a deeper level of stillness to be felt, if we resist or hold back then we are inviting complication. Staying open to what is needed provides the simplicity and the space for things to flow.

  201. “In my life I have learnt that what heals must be true – I have used my own body as an example. So I can confirm that what Serge and Universal Medicine present actually works.” Love this – living by example inspires others – so much better than trying to impose on others!

  202. Just because everyone else is doing something a particular way doesn’t mean its normal. Normal is what is felt in the body and what is naturally felt.

    1. Absolutely true Luke. Everybody’s body is different and what is normal for one is not normal for another, go your own way, listen, honour and be true to YOUR body and you can’t go wrong.

    2. Yes normal is what feels natural to us, and if we are honest and feel it, we do know what naturally is right for the body. Binge drinking and taking drugs all weekend is considered a normal occurrence by a large part of the community but scratch the surface of that and many people I know would own that they feel awful doing it, but go along with it because that is how to keep their friends and be part of the group, or just to numb themselves from feeling depressed or sad. So it’s important to honour what we feel and do not worry about what the world considers normal, that picture can accumulate from a lot of lost people not knowing what else to do.

      1. Yes Annie, Just because many people do the same thing doesn’t make it normal. Even if one person is normal and everyone else isn’t it doesn’t mean that 1 person who is being themselves isn’t normal.

    3. Very well said Luke, normal is not quantifiable by the actions of the masses but by the truth of the body

      1. Unfortunately that is how normal is currently based – on what the masses are doing, rather than what is right for you, and as sown by the chaos and disarray of the world as a whole it is not working.

  203. Wow it is amazing the changes we can have when we quite simply bring more love into our life, of course listening to the body is key to this and a forever developing relationship with it. Thank you for sharing E,A

  204. It is so easy to stay in old patterns. Being inspired to change the way we live is a choice. When I felt the benefits for myself there was no way I was going to go back to those old habits of self indulgence, particularly with food and drink. I have found that I don’t need to eat half the amount I used to. It is so much easier to eat for how my body feels, rather than eating to numb every single part of it.

  205. This is my story E.A. Years of respiratory problems; asthma, sinusitis, upper respiratory tract infections and skin allergies too. Within 6 months of eliminating dairy I had no asthma…this after 34 years of it, with frequent hospitalisations as an adult.
This is nothing short of a miracle.

  206. Wow EA you have made some powerful changes to your life. Food is such a big one for so many, yet when we consider the effect it can have on our health and overall wellbeing why wouldn’t we look more closely at the food we eat. I am inspired to take a closer look at the choices I am making around food as the changes you have made have had such an amazing effect on your quality of life.

  207. Being open to change is a wonderful thing. Where would we all be without it? Your openness to change E.A felt so strong and I love that you were able to make big changes without hesitation.

  208. ‘I am just starting to bring more love into my life, to myself and others’… all because you are making more loving choices that nourish and support your body, by being aware of and responsible for the choices you make during your day, and how they affect how you feel and express yourself. A beautiful and honest sharing E.A, thank you.

  209. Simple, practical tools – it’s common sense to listen to the body and see if it’s trying to say something. It’s very awesome that at the moment you realised your health was suffering you sort true healing and sky rocketed from there!

  210. I love the lightness, playfulness and the simplicity in this blog. When we begin to make true, loving choices in our lives, the impact this has is simply amazing and not just for the person but also to those around them. Thank you for sharing E.A.

  211. This completely resonates with me as I also had asthma all my life and as a young child I nearly died from it on several occasions, so I am in fact a walking miracle as I no longer have asthma…and same as you, I made changes in my life with food, sleep which brings more vitality to my life and even more significant was building a loving relationship with myself…with the great support of Universal Medicine, the presentations and the healing sessions with the practitioners. It really is amazing!

  212. E.A. – what big changes you have made in your life in such a short time! Having made several life changes since attending Universal Medicine presentations I can also say that my health and well being has markedly improved and I am enjoying learning more and more about myself and humanity every day. It’s such a beautiful natural ‘high’.

  213. It is truly empowering to feel that healing is not just physical but that there is a way to NOT bury or hide but HEAL ones issues and emotional turmoils if we are but open to it.

    1. Indeed Joshua, if we only focus on our symptoms, never will a true healing be achieved.
Once we open up to healing our issues though, we will look with amazement at the changes that are possible and at how easy life in fact is.

  214. I really enjoyed reading your blog, E.A. How you express is filled with joy and makes me go ‘I want some of that, too!’.

  215. I feel very joyful reading this blog and celebrate with you for making such changes.

  216. The Body’s natural rhythm is in us, it has been since the beginning of time, willing to be lived. The changes you speak of E.A., feel the natural way to live and are so easy to fall into. I feel such appreciation to Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine for presenting that there is another way.

  217. Wonderful blog E.A. Our bodies are constantly communicating to us, and your experience shows what amazing things can happen when we choose to connect and feel what is true for our body.
    Truly inspirational. Thank you.

  218. There is a quote that goes “insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results”. Today most people eat processed foods, large amounts of sugar, sugary drinks and coffee; drinking alcohol is an expected norm; drug taking and tattoo addiction are socially acceptable; stress is considered a normal part of life. The WHO states that “lifestyle diseases are responsible for 63 per cent of global deaths”. We have to be open to change, everything in life is shouting out that there must be another way. Thank you for sharing that by making simple, loving choices in your life you have shown that you can buck the trend.

  219. Thanks E.A. Awesome to read about your openess to change and how profoundly positive you’ve found those changes to be for not only yourself but everyone you come into contact with.

  220. Beautiful E.A.! What your blog confirms is that being open to change is key to defeat what caps you. Everything starts there. Thank you!

  221. Thank you E.A. I feel the joy in the words you have used to express how you seem to have had confirmed back to you how in touch and on track you have been in the past and how to just honour yourself moving forward.

  222. Thank you, E.A.. I love your words: “In my life I have learnt that what heals must be true”. Absolutely beautiful. What else can one say to justify the choices that one makes, not that we need to justify, just be and do what is true.

  223. ‘I no longer resist with raciness, but embrace the joy of change.’ This reminded me how I had always chosen to live with so much raciness and that I too am now choosing to embrace the joy of change. The benefits to my body are amazing but I can still resist this process and next time I will remind myself that I have a choice to embrace rather than resist. Thank you for sharing this so simply.

  224. ‘I have never felt that I am in a ‘sect’ or that I am a ‘follower’ of Serge Benhayon. I only felt that I was a 47-year old woman who was open to change.
And change I did!’ – I love this paragraph, there is nothing complicated, sect-like, cult-like or even unusual about being open to change and choosing a healthier more caring lifestyle.

  225. Beautful to read your blog E.A. Learning to trust our bodies communications leads to harmony within. Your loving choices have enabled you to feel the truth of your body. Thank you for sharing.

  226. It is beautiful how simple and loving the process of true change and true healing is when we are open to it. As you have shown E.A all we have to be is super honest and open to True Truth.

  227. I love the simplicity you have shared here, you felt to makes changes, and change you did – it feels like you have returned to a very natural way of living.

  228. It is quite something to feel when you realise what sugar actually does to the body and how racy it makes you; but when you have it daily, you just don’t notice and actually think it’s ‘normal’.

    1. Very true. Daily sugar intake sets your reference point at something quite ab-normal. Once I cut sugar intake right back, I could really begin to feel the effect of it on me when I did have it and I became aware of when I was craving it. It was such a drastic change and an uncomfortable feeling that it provided its own motivation to cut the sugar right down.

    2. Absolutely Gabriele, I concur, sugar in all it forms has slowly shown how much affect it has had on my body. I now enjoy the natural stillness that comes from the loving approach to everything I eat.

  229. Great blog E.A.. I love what you say: “In my life I have learnt that what heals must be true – I have used my own body as an example”. Our bodies are always communicating the truth with us and will show that in any way shape or form, it does not matter how. It is up to us if we are able to appreciate this communication or not. And yes If we allow our body to be the marker of truth than what you have found is healing for you because your body is communicating that. Then you know that this great gift that Serge Benhayon and Universal medicine are presenting, is something to honour and appreciate for the grandness to humanity this actually brings.

  230. Crazy isn’t it how we find it so hard to be still? Yet when I surrender it feels like the simplest and most natural way to be. That’s how your blog reads to me EM – so simple and so natural. When we make changes that feel great in our body – it’s only natural that we embrace this simple way to be.

    1. Beautifully put – “when I surrender it feels like the simplest and most natural way to be.” Nothing more can be added, it’s how it is.

  231. Thank you E R for your very clear blog, it is amazing how much better our health is simply by taking out gluten dairy and sugar, and thanks to Serge Benhayon for the Universal Medicine he has presented to us for our daily living.

  232. I love the straight-forwardness with which you write, EA. There is such a feeling of openness and honesty and “In my life I have learnt that what heals must be true – I have used my own body as an example” – that is so true.

  233. It too has been my experience that what Serge Benhayon presents works. It is always very simple and comes down to the choices that we want to make. Do our choices either lead us to healing or do they harm? It is really up to each one of us to make the choices for change. Well done EA for making those choices and now living a different life.

  234. I love the way you express EA – with such simplicity, clarity and honesty. It is clear that the changes you have made in your life are benefitting both you and everyone you come into contact with. Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine have blessed so many in this way. Beautiful.

  235. Dear E.A., thank you for your blog – I loved the lightness and the joy in it – and the simplicity of making changes in your life that are so much more loving.

  236. When I stopped eating sweets this at first created quite a stir at work.
Confronting my colleagues a lot. But when they felt that I did not judge them or wanted to change them, suddenly things changed and one colleague stopped eating sweets as well saying “well, actually I just eat those sweets because they are there and would prefer to finally change my diet. Then the other stopped: “Well, maybe I should stop eating that as well, because if I am really honest, I cannot digest it. Well, 3 weeks after me stopping to eat sweets the never empty box of sweets was gone from the office. And with that the real wonder showed: the atmosphere got much calmer and there was less agression, hurry or raciness around.
That’s when I started to really grasp what it means that everything we choose to do does not only affect us, but everybody else.

    1. I had the same experience Michael. I cut out all sugar from my diet a few years ago. Within a very short time another colleague announced that she too was giving up sugar. And although the other 4 colleauges did not actually say they are giving up sugar, I observed they had more awareness of sugar and ate much less of it. So yes, everything we choose does not only affect us, but everybody else too.

    2. What an incredible story. It shows the power of one drop in the ocean and the ripples it creates.

    3. It is extraordinary Michaelkremer2212 that your choice to change brought about change in others….but not really so extraordinary when you consider that so many of us know that what we are doing is not correct, and all we are seeking is the inspiration of another who is doing it.
My work experience has been different to yours. I have eliminated sugar, but everyone around me is eating more! 🙂 What I really understand now is that there is a timing at play…that people are ready when they are ready and not a moment before. So right now I am just enjoying my sugar-free life, knowing one day the people around me will be doing the same be it tomorrow , next year or in 50 years….

  237. Just gorgeous – very clear and very real. What works for and truly supports the body is of such value. Game changingly so.

  238. “I was quite astonished because I could feel that my body was not as racy anymore (all the time), and that I could really heal my body.” That is very powerful E., your experience showing you that your choices are what heals your body and therefore we have the power… the power to heal ourselves.

  239. Wow amazing to read about your choice to change the way you were living to truly support your body to heal and no longer suffer from asthma, sinusitis and bronchitis. Incredible changes you’ve made and awesome that you are sharing this so that others can make a choice to change too.

  240. EA I love the simplicity and straightforwardness with which you have presented your experience. How you have presented your experience with Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine and the turn around in your health, leaves no doubt that you are practicing good medicine – listening to your own body.

  241. Like you EA, I have always had a raciness in my body for as long as I could remember. People often used to say to me that I didn’t know how to stop and I saw this as something to be proud of; that I was ‘tougher’ than they were because I just kept going and going (ie kept pushing myself). Yet I also felt a constant exhaustion. I found attending Universal Medicine workshops and listening to presentations by Serge Benhayon has made an enormous difference to the way I live. I know I still have quite a way to go, but the quality of my life is far greater since I have started to make changes.

  242. I agree E.A., funny how people can be so astonished that you choose not to eat junk food, nor drink alcohol and enjoy an early night – and think there is something wrong with you, and at the same time the world is slowly being crushed under the burden of horrendous chronic illness, like diabetes, which even the Government clearly states is largely caused by lifestyle choices. so who’s the crazy one?

    1. True Annie, but what is even funnier is that it really often is in our minds only, we think or fear people will react a certain way when in reality many will respond positively from the fact that they deep inside have been craving to make the same choices!

      1. Carolienbraakenburg, I can attest to that! When I first stopped drinking I secluded myself, buying into the thoughts/beliefs that people would think me wierd! Now I have let go of that and embrace bringing the sober, clean eating me out to mingle, giving others a different way of being to choose from.

      2. Pernilla, i feel it is often that we ourselves think we are being strange, weird or different and that this is often why people react and that when we embrace the way we live to be natural and therefor absolutely normal most people will feel that and not react

    2. Such a great point – none of this really makes sense. We all know illness and disease is caused by our lifestyle choices – so why do we single out and ridicule those who seek to find a different, more loving, more caring, healthier life?

    3. And why do people react so badly when we give up cake? Is it possibly too exposing?

      1. I remember well when a friend of mine, years ago, gave up alcohol and I went into a huge reaction. I thought she was boring and I really did not like it. At that time, I did not want to truly feel what was going on, but I can say now that she really exposed me in my own alcohol intake and that I already knew then, that alcohol was not doing me any good but I was not able to stop drinking because I needed it.

  243. So many things are upside down in our current society. In a world where science is held up as the only way to know truth, science already knows that the body’s natural rhythm is to sleep and rejuvenate from 9-4. Yet you are considered to have a sleeping problem!

  244. I can feel the joy in every word here E.A.! And relate on many levels, from changes I have made, inspired deeply by Serge Benhayon and the work of Universal Medicine to simply feel my own body for myself – no rocket science at all, but most definitely a science I was not taught at school. Thank God that we have had this presented to us!
Addressing the raciness allowed for such profound change… for me, I found it had kept me from myself, the depth and amazingness of me that I realised had been simply there – awaiting my choice to re-connect and embrace all that I am. Being racy, affected by caffeine, sugar and running on nervous energy kept me distracted from me.
What has supported letting go of this, has most definitely been the choices I’ve made, and continue to make, every day in regards to how I live, and how I care for my body. To once again know and feel ‘me’, with a depth I would never compromise by putting certain foods, etc. in my body anymore – is nothing short of miraculous, in my book…

  245. Isn’t it funny how just because you go to bed early and wake up early this is considered weird, yet if a baby does this it is considered normal. Where as I would consider to be healthy as you are honouring how your body feels, thank you for your beautiful blog.

  246. I agree with you that sometimes there are no words to express the gratitude one feels for the true healing and the opportunity to live a healthy, loving, fuller life.

  247. It still makes me laugh. If you go to be early and get up really early, and you take extra care of yourself and change your eating so that you feel lighter and more alive and overall start to feel truly well, that’s when people start to criticise you, call you a freak even a member of a sect or something.
How bizarre.. and yet so obvious that the person choosing health upsets the person who does not choose this but perhaps doesn’t want to admit it.

  248. Great story here about common sense changes made to the way you are living simply by observation and lived experience and being slightly more aware of what your body was telling you all along. What strikes me is that we already know it, all of us, we just need a little bit of confidence, support and permission to let ourselves go with it.

  249. Isn’t that wonderful? You go out to learn some techniques with Serge Benhayon / Universal Medicine and got: Healing from a few long term illnesse, releases from ideas of “how you do wrong”, a kitchen that becomes alive, a joyful saturated husband, more love and stillness in your and others life…that’s really what I would call “the joy of change”.

  250. Possibly it is the pain of lifetime-long decisions to not be who we are, that causes the reaction of fear, when we see humans in their power. Calling Serge Benhayon a cult leader as I perceive it, is simply that: rejecting truth. Sad, considered the fact, that one of our greatest fears and hurts is being rejected.

  251. People may be surprised and want to ask “How the heck did E.A. just go home and change her life around like that!?”… Actually, “how are 100’s of everyday people actually changing their choices and living consistently healthier lives when the norm is that “resolutions and new diets don’t work and don’t stick?”

I have always been confounded by the fact that most of us repeatedly choose things we have decided we don’t want. What keeps standing out to me is that SO many people have made lasting change with the support of Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine. Is it possible that once we get a taste of the truth – the Love and life being lived in such a self honoring and harmonious way, all the self harming habits, we fought with for years, start to just fall away? no diet, no list of do’s or don’t, just a deeper honoring of what works for this body.

I tried to stop eating sugar for 25 years as the devastation on my body and mood was obvious BUT once I met Serge and took some courses it was no longer about fighting myself with will power, it became easy to choose what I want instead…so what happened for me?

I feel it is because I have been met with pure acceptance and shown what Love looks and feels like in a bigger way and this has moved me to choose to love myself more; so I don’t want to hurt myself with these things that I already knew hurt me… I am also more aware of just how my choices effect me & I choose to be more AWARE because I have a precious person to care for here; aware of what I feel like with disregard in my body so I no longer buy into the illusion that sugar, dairy or gluten OR the distractions I have used to monopolise myself with are ‘treats’ for me!

  252. I love it when you say, “in my life I have learnt that what heals must be true ” and I totally agree. Our body knows, no matter what the mind comes up with or what lies it spawns.

  253. I agree with you, there are no words when someone has felt true healing and has connected to their most beautiful essence, the gratitude is immense. We thank Serge Benhayon, we thank God, we thank life.

  254. I can relate to the constant motion feeling and how that relates to the foods I eat. It takes care and understanding to stop these habits as we come to understand, we don’t like doing this to ourselves however we do as a coping strategy for whatever issues or problems in life we are trying to forget about.

Now joy and excitement replaces the anticipation and stress to deal with such issues.

  255. Your blog is inspirational for me as for such a long time I have lived with a belief told to me as a child that if you don’t outgrow asthma by adulthood, you have it for life. As a child I almost had to have asthma medicine and a box of tissues taped to my skin because it was a daily problem. Nowadays my sinus problem has healed and my episodes of asthma are decreasing dramatically. Thank you for sharing EA.

  256. You have shown everyone by making different choices with food and changing the way you live you were able to improve your health. Absolutely amazing. By changing my diet and numerous sessions of chakra-puncture I too was able to heal my asthma. It is beautiful to be able to breath easy again.

  257. So beautiful to feel the changes you are making and the joy from which you have expressed them.

  258. Thank-you for this simple account of your journey back to wellbeing.
My daughter suffered with chronic reactive airways, through the support of both conventional medicine and the livingness taught by Universal medicine her asthma is past. Its an incredible gift for a 6year old child to understand that her behaviour & choices have an impact upon her health. With this responsibility we can heal ourselves.

    1. How beautiful Lucinda that your daughter has been supported to make this amazing discovery at such a young age. Thank you for sharing.

  259. The big aha moment for me in your blog EA, was when I felt the truth in your words” I no longer resist with raciness, but embrace the joy of change. This opens up a whole new awareness for me, around my raciness and my apprehension around change. thank you so much for this insight.

  260. It’s amazing E.A. how you were able to heal your body of the sinusitis and bronchitis issues by simply eliminating sugar , gluten and dairy. But the cool thing is that those illnesses were actually a great sign being sent by your body that what you were eating was not conducive to your good health in the first place and when you listened to the message, it healed itself.

  261. Thank you for sharing your openness to making changes and the amazing impact that this has had on your health and wellbeing. So inspiring to read and for all those you come into contact with.

  262. Fantastic sharing. I, too feel so amazing when I have esoteric healing sessions and have made changes to my lifestyle choices, food, sleep, drink how I am with myself and others and also no longer suffer asthma, sinusitis, hay fever and am 20kg lighter which is staggering as having to fly and put my bag on the scales, 20kg is LOTS of extra weight to be carrying so my body sure is happy with my choices!

  263. “I no longer resist with raciness but embrace the joy of change” I have noticed that there are some segments of society that believe that as you get older change is upsetting and something to be avoided. it is inspiring to hear you talk of change as a joy, as it can indeed be whatever one’s situation.l

  264. Lovely blog. I really appreciated this quote “In my life I have learnt that what heals must be true – I have used my own body as an example.” I have followed this and my own body is healing and it does feel very true.

  265. “In my life I have learnt that what heals must be true ” such a true statement. What greater reflection can there be of Truth than a true healing of the body? A true healing is the resolution of the cause of the condition while a cure only relieves the symptoms but not the cause of the condition.

  266. So beautifully expressed E.A. You made a change in your diet and very quickly your body embraced it wholeheartedly. I had the same experience with chronic sinusitis which cleared after 6 months after going dairy free (and gluten free). Thank you for sharing

  267. Your story is so simple, just some little changes to your life and what great out comes. To be free from asthma, and other respiratory conditions, is incredible. Asthma can have a big impact on our health and the way that we live our lives, it can be quite scary and debilitating, so imagine if everyone with asthma was given advice by their doctor to give these simple changes a try, and see what the outcome is… a simple cost free medical revolution?

  268. Your commitment to yourself and the honouring of your body is what shines through for me in your blog. You have changed your lifestyle and therefore your life. Thanks for sharing this E.A.

  269. Thank you E.A you write so simply about the choices and changes you have made yet the amazing effect these have had. I remember having asthma growing up and now its easy to forget that sometimes. Many people accept asthma as part of life – because its so common yet you have shown how it is so simple to heal.

  270. What a beautiful, simple blog. It’s wonderful to read of the positive changes that attending Universal Medicine courses has made to your life, and to no longer suffer from sinusitis, bronchitis or asthma, that is huge.

  271. My chronic asthma and continual runny nose cleared up a long time ago when I gave up gluten and dairy and made simple choices to change aspects of my life all inspired by Universal Medicine.

    1. Me too – every year I would get debilitating hayfever for around 4 weeks that would ruin our precious summer. I have not had that for the last seven years since choosing to not have gluten and dairy.

  272. Thank you E.A, I can also relate to the health improvements which have occurred since looking at my diet (especially gluten, dairy and sugar) such as IBS, sinusitis and weight loss, plus many other symptoms and ills.
It is laughable to hear that there are people out there, who see these benefits as a result of cultish behaviour. We should be studied not ridiculed!

  273. Like you my body has changed in the same way with no asthma, no hay fever, no sinus and 2.5 stones lighter. My husband wishes I would cook – I am still working on that!

It is funny to be told you’re in a cult or sect as you say, when I have attended anything I have done so of my own volition and never has anyone ever contacted me to see if I was coming. It’s nothing like what I’d imagine a cult to be like – there’s no giving of money etc. or living in a commune.
I feel it is safe to say that like you we are just making choices to not reject the changes that heal the body. Pretty simple. I too am enormously grateful to Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine for their awesome consistent inspiration to heal our own hurts and live from love.

  274. Amazing article – beautiful to hear about how the simple changes you have made to your rhythm/diet have made such a huge impact to your way of life.

  275. Lovely to read so simply the changes you felt to make and the impact they have had.

  276. I enjoyed reading your experiences EA – thank you, and like you I have experienced great personal change over the years of attending the courses, and so I am an advocate of further change and not just for myself, but for also change in the world — towards love and truth.

  277. Hi EA, thank you for expressing this. The simplicity is abundant in your words. You express clearly the potential we all have to make change. The changes you have experienced are very inspiring, and offer a great inspiration for those around you who choose to take note.

  278. What you have expressed is a miracle. By making loving choices for yourself you are no longer suffering from chronic conditions that impacted on your body your entire life. Now that is definitely worthy of a story and I for one feel how amazing and inspiring it is.

  279. Great to feel the truth in your words EA, and lovely to know you are enjoying more of you since you have made these changes in your life, thank you for you inspiring words.

  280. Thank you EA. Isn’t it great that you got to feel amazing after a healing session and then found a way that you could live that amazingness on a daily basis by choosing to make simple changes to your diet and honouring that your natural sleep rhythm is going to bed and waking early. Lovely.

  281. The way you joyfully welcome change is lovely. Thank you for sharing your experience.

P.S. I too spent time trying to get rid of my ‘sleep problem’ ha ha… I find it can be quite often that others want to tell you that something which is natural is not normal.

  282. This is so awesome, so simply and beautifully said. I’m so inspired by this, what huge changes you made so quickly.

  283. So awesome to feel your changes E.A., and the joy with which you embrace choosing what honours you. I bet those around you notice! Thank you.
