Serge Benhayon: ‘The Truths he Spoke of Felt to me Absolute’

by LM, Canada

Over four years ago a great friend introduced me to Serge Benhayon and his audio presentations. After listening to many of them I made the choice to go to a workshop and meet this person for myself. The truths he spoke of felt to me to be absolute.

My life has changed in many wonderful ways since – in that I have made the choice to be totally aware of what I put in my mouth so I know what bloats me, what causes me to feel very heavy, and what makes me very tired – therefore, I am taking much better care of my body and being responsible for me and my feelings.

Since making the choice for myself to not eat gluten / wheat and sugars, I am feeling healthier than I have ever felt.  At a very young age I decided not to drink milk or eat dairy because I found that when I did it affected my lungs very deeply, leaving me feeling asthmatic.

My awareness of my body’s functions is becoming amazingly sharp, I pay attention to me for me, and I feel more alive because of this.

Thanks to my choice to attend workshops and presentations by Serge Benhayon, I am making changes that reflect the true love that Serge and Universal Medicine stand for – for all equally.

  1. Yes LM, Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine only present the truth and always from love. It’s never the emotional love, it’s that pure unadulterated love. In that, another is offered the reflection to do and be whatever they want to do and be. There is no right and there is no wrong, there is only one way and that is from the light of our Soul. There is another way to live from…

  2. “My awareness of my body’s functions is becoming amazingly sharp, I pay attention to me for me, and I feel more alive because of this.”
This is what could be called true vitality because our bodies come alive rather than being sluggish When we realise that certain foods can make us sluggish and dull there is then the choice to keep eating the food stuff knowing the consequences or not eat it and feel so much better for not eating it.

    1. Yes and in those foods that leave you sluggish, people often blame their work environments and seldom want to think that the culprits are what we put inside our bodies.

  3. If we want to know the truth in the meaning of words say the word absolute and then refer it to Serge Benhayon

  4. Every time Serge Benhayon speaks I feel the absoluteness in it, I feel the universe and his soild knowing and connection to it.

    1. To me Serge Benhayon is the master of masters his knowing and understanding of the interconnectivity of the universe is beyond words. He is the walking embodiment of heaven on earth and easily reflects back to humanity our future is our past and where we are all heading.

  5. Thank God I attended workshops and presentations by Serge Benhayon, I now know a truth from my body that I had purposefully cut off before.

  6. The body never ceases to communicate with us what works and what does not.

  7. Amazing how a few loving choices can make such a difference in one’s life – and these are often simple and inexpensive ways to support ourselves. After all the soul loves simplicity and practicality.

  8. We have to deeply question the nutritional guidelines, and the intelligence behind them, that leads to people being so unwell from things like wheat and dairy.

    1. and that’s also why I love the truth because of it’s utter absoluteness. Something is either true or it’s not, it can’t be mostly true or mainly true, it either is or it isn’t and that’s a fact.

      1. This I feel is how we have been tricked by the Consciousness that wants to control us. It makes something look as though it is mostly true or has a bit of truth in it and we latch on to the bit we think is true without discerning the whole package. Some religions are a great example of this they used smatterings of truth along with fear and a lack of feeling safe to dominate over others, hence the terminology the ‘Dark Ages’. This was a very dark and unsafe period in our history.

  9. Great to hear that you are now taking much more care of yourself, and bringing responsibility into your life since attending talks and presentations by Serge Benhayon, ‘I am taking much better care of my body and being responsible for me and my feelings. ‘

  10. ‘My awareness of my body’s functions is becoming amazingly sharp, I pay attention to me for me, and I feel more alive because of this’ When we start on the path of awareness in this way it is awesome how much we are shown and it is also incredible how much resistance we can have to following what is obviously the preferred choices of the body. It seems like the reward, if I can put it like that, for this dedication and adherence to the bodies requests – following what we know is going to support it from feeling, rather than outside information filtering through our minds – is a vitality and aliveness that brings us a quality of energy that is of a high vibration and connects us with a joy for living.

  11. Taking responsibility for ourselves, for our daily choices and the way we feel, uncovers the joy of what living responsibly means. We stop being a victim because we recognise that our every move has an outcome (for ourselves and others), and that outcome is up to us. When we choose love that outcome is joy.

    1. Spot on Melinda – when we stop being a victim and take full responsibility it is a life changing moment or series of moments. This is not always easy to do to begin with but the more we do it, the more we get on a roll and this is the way to live in a way that is far more empowered.

  12. “My awareness of my body’s functions is becoming amazingly sharp, I pay attention to me for me” – I love this. It is very loving and nurturing to pay attention to ourselves.

    1. One cannot sit on a fence when it comes to Truth – the fence will break and one falls into the territory of Truth or that of un-Truth.

  13. LM I totally agree with what you are saying as I too have found Serge Benhayon and his family to be very supportive so that the way I live my life now is totally different from when I first met him. When I first met Serge Benhayon it felt as though I was walking along a knife edge one slip either side and I would be back into the black hole of depression. Having spent 25 + years in psychotherapy where I was encouraged to believe I was a victim of life to then meeting Serge Benhayon and realising for myself that actually I was my own worst enemy that there was actually no one to blame but myself through the loveless choices I was making. When we re learn how to love ourselves again the whole world changes as the magic of life reappears it never went away I just got so overwhelmed I could not feel it or see it.

    1. Mary as someone who has lived with depression for such a long period, you are pointing to the miracle that living in a self loving and soulful way can bring.

    1. It is crazy how we can fool ourselves that the words we say are enough. How often do we admit that if we can see through this in others reading the energy behind the words, that others can see through this in ourselves!

  14. I have felt this too, there is an absoluteness in every word that Serge Benhayon says, because he expresses not from knowledge or hearsay but from every word lived.

    1. There is no doubt that when you meet Serge Benhayon he lives what he talks. He doesn’t talk from knowledge but from an authority that comes from his body.

      1. True authority can only come from the body, everything else is a poor and insincere representation. Force is not authority and neither is control although many like to think they are.

  15. There is no denying what we feel in our bodies, its just that for much of the time we have chosen to ignore it. Thank goodness that Serge Benhayon has re-introduced this innate connection we already have to so many, so that we may once again feel what it really going on within us and consequently choose a way to live that absolutely supports us on every level.

    1. Spot on Sandra, and I have found that this process of re-connecting to the body and listening to it, is a process that is continually deepening. I am learning not just to tune into it more and more, but also to understand more what I am feeling and letting myself feel the not so nice things but also letting myself feel the beautiful things too.

  16. When we are willing to find the truth, we just find it, and this comes as a confirmation and reflection of our commitment to it. Then, we are ready to consistently make the changes that best support us in our life.

  17. The teachings and insights presented by Serge Benhayon are not just mere knowledge but lived experiences shared for anyone who likes to consider and try for themselves, so that they can come to their own experience and understanding of what truth means for them. Interestingly enough it often turns out that such truth is not just personal but collective as it is based on teachings of truth that are ageless and universal. That´s what the Ageless Wisdom offers everyone equally for whenever one chooses to embrace it.

  18. Simple choices often have the most profound results, as is the case when we don’t overload our body with stuff it cannot digest but has to get rid off in the form of asthma, sinus conditions, eczema and many more.

    1. … and responds to in many amazing and deeply healing ways. Once we get out of the way, the miracles can unfold.

  19. Thank you LM, Serge’s presentations are so simple and practical, once we reconnect to our body and become more aware of what it’s communicating we can make changes that are loving and caring for our own unique needs. It feels astonishing at times that worldwide we consult books, the internet, experts, etc, on health, diet, exercise, and wellbeing, but we don’t actually check in with the body, the very thing we are trying to keep healthy!

  20. It is great to read the word absolute being used with such clarity. There is no justification here, there is no need to convince – and this is beautiful because what you have experienced is true for you and that is what counts.

  21. When I first met Serge Benhayon my whole body recognised the truth that he spoke ever if I did not fully understand with my mind everything that was been spoken. Everything that he spoke about then and now calls us to greater responsibility.

    1. When we hear the truth our bodies feel incredibly settled but when we are presented with a lie then there is palpable unease. The problem is that we have become so used to lying that we no longer recognise the unsettled feeling in our bodies. An unsettled feeling that we live with constantly.

  22. Yes, I agree, I prefer the natural deliciousness and the more I can build a relationship with my body, the more I can keep that communication around what upsets it as clear.

  23. We benefit so much from the choice to be more aware. There is nothing unknown or scary (well except for the realisation that we have not lived authentically for so long!!) Coming back to live in acceptance of ourselves means we have more awareness of the importance of accepting others for who they are too.

  24. A simple and intelligent choice can turn our lives around as far as health, wellbeing and vitality are concerned. But there has to be a willingness to look deeper and not reach for a quick first at the expense of learning and healing.

  25. This is how we all can be…..”My awareness of my body’s functions is becoming amazingly sharp, I pay attention to me for me, and I feel more alive because of this.” We do not need to be separate form our bodies, we can have a relationship with it that is deeply nurturing and supportive.

  26. These days anyone can go gluten and dairy free. The options are more available than when I decided to cut them out of my diet (vaccum packed bread brick anyone?) But what Serge Benhayon brings to the table is not just changing ones life but changing the energy that fuels life. Becoming aware of energy once again and who’s running the show in the background.

  27. It is that simple, be aware of what is happening in the body, take the responsibility of what you feel and you are able to make the changes or adjust your way of living and the body will respond accordingly. And that’s all we need to become more alive and vital.

  28. Its amazing how quickly our bodies respond when we start to say no to something that is harming it.
Being loving with ourselves is a pathway home to remembering who we truly are.

  29. What stands out in this article is how simple it is to make some small changes and yet receive a turn around in health, vitality and clarity. LM, I have also found that what I eat can affect how clear my head feels and when I’ve eaten something which does not agree with me my head feels as if in a fog.

  30. It’s amazing how quickly the body responds to choices that honour and nurture it. I’m often amazed too by how much the body can withstand when it comes to tolerating abusive behaviours, how it can keep moving, working, speaking and beating when it’s been drowned by alcohol and clouded by tobacco etc.

  31. Every word that Serge Benhayon speaks offers nothing less than truth and the quality of reflection for the way we are living and what truly lies within that is there for all to see.

  32. Even with the numerous workshops and Universal Medicine presentations I have attended and knowing how great my body feels when I look after it, I still have the propensity to ignore and be stubborn about the amount of food I might eat , or the type of food I eat, or I won’t exercise and find all kind of excuses why not. It’s only when I push my body to a limit that I am not prepared to accept that I will change my behaviour. In this I feel I come back to my original base and don’t move forward. Taking a step back, it’s ridiculous, but I do play a cat and mouse game with my body and test what I can get away with. It’s an act of sabotage.

  33. When we hear or read the truth but live it from our own knowing, it is indeed a blessing.

  34. Many a time listening to Serge Benhayon I have had the full body nod, not just the head in agreeance, but the whole body going ‘oh yeah, ain’t that the truth!”….usually with a ‘finally, I always knew’.

  35. When the absolute truth is expressed, it resonates with every particle within my body… a confirmation of what I know to be true and even in those moments when I have resisted, I have felt it, inspiring me to speak the absolute truth in my every day livingness too.

  36. Reading what you have so simply presented it makes so much sense that when we take the time to become more aware of our body we begin to develop a deeper relationship with it. And as that relationship grows the messages it is always giving us become clearer, we begin to eat what feels true to us and as a result our health improves and our vitality increases. Listening to our body can be life-changing.

  37. This really shows how truth that our body shows us what is true, is most vital to our health and well-being. Lies that one glass of alcohol is ok and even good for our heart or that other things like sugar are ok in moderation, in other words used once in a while don’t affect us are doing the opposite. They are making us ignore our body and listen to our mind and needs which does not have a good impact on our bodies as the whole of humanity is the evidence of because we would look a whole lot more healthy and vital if this was the case…

    1. We cannot be truthful if we cannot be honest and the fact that we have been trying to make a way of living work that is never going to work because it abuses the body indicates that we need to take a step back and bring a deeper level of honesty to the conversation.

  38. It is amazing how much more vital and alive we feel, just by being aware of the food we eat and responding to the messages we receive from the body such as bloating, pain or rashes. I feel we are aware that gluten and dairy sugar and alcohol make us ill but our desire to have them overrules the body until such time as we are made to stop usually through an illness. I know I was like that with gluten I couldn’t understand why none of my family or friends seemed to bloat or get pain, so I made myself carry on until it became so obvious that the body was not willing to tolerate gluten anymore. The body speaks very loud but I feel sometimes we also choose to be very deaf.

  39. It is such a joyful experience to hear the truth that we feel inside, spoken out loud by another. It is a feeling of coming home.

  40. It finally makes so much sense to me that the more awareness of my body I develop the more I get to understand this amazing vessel for life. And the simple, common sense filled presentations from Serge Benhayon have been instrumental in supporting me to build a deeper connection to my body than I have ever had. But what I love most is that Serge encourages everyone to discern what he is presenting and to feel if it is true for us. It is us feeling the truth of what our body is communicating, and then acting on that truth that has the power to change our lives.

  41. “I pay attention to me for me, and I feel more alive because of this.” Your words here are very important in that we are indeed the only ones that can make those choices for ourselves, and therefore we are the only ones that can truly change the way we feel and relate to life and every one in our life.

  42. Beautiful, so easy and simple. We are love, and this has been shown in multiple ways by Serge Benhayon. I love that, and what a courage he has to stand solid even when things are going against the current.

  43. “The truths he spoke of felt to me to be absolute.”

And this is exactly the point. Truth IS an absolute. It is a gorgeous one-unifying whole-ness that brings all to the same point and leaves no one behind. We are so used to being offered fragments of truth (even though deep down we all know that a mere fragment is not the full package and therefore it is converted to an un-truth) that we have come to not trust each other because no one is delivering the full package. Meeting Serge Benhayon and hearing the absolute truth he lives, speaks and writes has helped to restore my faith in people and brought me back to the same one-unifying truth within me. I am forever in deep appreciation of this.

  44. When I first started listening to the Serge Benhayon audios I remember being struck by how much common sense he was speaking, and I would say to myself, yes I’ve felt that too, and life started to make far more sense, and the truth he spoke resonated deep within me.

  45. ‘The truths he spoke of felt to me to be absolute.’ I felt the same LM. Serge Benhayon has confirmed everything I have known but in many cases never articulated. When he speaks the truth, it can’t be denied although many have tried to fight against it because it challenges all that we do not want to let go of.

  46. ‘I pay attention to me, for me’- when we really decide to pay attention to how we’re feeling and how our choices affect that, we empower ourselves just by noticing. Awareness is the first tool in letting go of some of the behaviours we have but wish that we didn’t, because the more we feel the impact of those choices and behaviours on our bodies, the bigger the opportunity to use that greater awareness as inspiration to change them.

  47. Thank you — absolute we are, just like Serge is reflecting to us. The truth is that we are Universal. Forever and have always been. Thank you Serge and LM.

  48. What I love about absoluteness, is how it confirms you without pandering to any kind of certain identity. So, with absoluteness we get to see the real us, the us we all were as children, which, in my experience, naturally brings about a love for each other that naturally comes from deep inside.

    1. Yes, there is an acceptance of each other when we are children that gets influenced by those around us; and this layers our eyes so we see what we want and are told to see rather than honour what is actually seen and felt from within.

  49. When you start taking care of your body – in all aspects e.g. how you eat, how you move, how you work, how you are with others… – and you stop dulling it with over working, being hard on yourself, being super good, eating too much, being super busy, drugs and alcohol etc… – it is amazing to start feeling what it shares with you, and you are right, it razor sharp with what it shares. It is like the best ‘life compass’ you could ever have.

Super simple example, I was cleaning my house the other day and my body shared that it wanted to lie down for a few minutes. Normally I either would not have listened or probably even have heard it as I was often in the ‘get on it, clean the house mode’ but as I have taken more care of my body, I listen more, so I sat down for few moments, rested and then returned back to cleaning. And at the end of it, I did not feel tired, or that I pushed myself.

    1. It feels great to listen and act on what the body shares, saying yes to resting is in fact saying yes to far more that comes as a by product or result of that initial yes to rest.

  50. To help everybody to grasp what it is that Serge Benhayon offers, it might help to spell it out and to talk about how our life changed and the hurdles we had to overcome.

  51. We hear the truth , but most of all we feel the truth in our body – it resonates.

  52. For me the best way to heal is to listen to my body as the choice not to eat gluten and dairy healed my beginning asthma.

    1. So true, our body supports us to heal and our thoughts often get in the way of this. Interesting to notice the battle that can be present if we do not align our mind with our body. Sometimes my body is communicating something to me but my thought tend to want to override what my body is telling me.

    1. This confirms just how powerful love is! We often bemoan the fact that we can’t see it out there forgetting that we can offer it to ourselves, but when we do magic starts to happen!

  53. To be able to discern and feel what is energetically true for ourselves is the freedom to become responsible for the quality of our choices in life.

  54. Another person taking a deeper care and more responsibility of themselves. Another living miracle showing others that it is possible, there is another way to live.

  55. Our body does not lie but communicates the choices we are making on a daily basis. When we listen to our body we can gain much wisdom about ourselves in terms of what truly supports, and by extension how to support others.

  56. It’s obvious that being absolute is natural for you LM. It’s not surprising you recognised the same in Serge Benhayon. Thank you for showing how simple it is to connect to truth and live it.

  57. We know the truth when we hear it, clear as day like the sunshine or the rain. We don’t need someone to explain it. It’s just what we do with this knowing that counts in this life. We’ve been past masters at burying what we know – now as Serge Benhayon inspires, it’s time to take it out, without apology. Thank you LM.

  58. There is little that is absolute in this world, so when you first hear Serge Benhayon speak, even though the words are simple and common sense, they carry a quality of absoluteness that stands out. It’s like he is saying, ‘This is the truth, and you also know it, even if you are not ready to come to that knowing yet”.

  59. The truths that Serge Benhayon presents are not complicated, hard to understand and impractical in any way. I have found them to be simple and full of common sense, something quite rare in a world where complication has become so normal. My first workshop with Serge was full of ‘aha’ moments and lots of head nodding in agreement. I quickly realised that what he was presenting I already knew on some level, he was simply reminding me of the truth.

    1. Yes, I have had many, many ‘aha’ moments too Ingrid. I love the simplicity and truth of what Serge Benhayon presents. I could listen to him present all day without a break and I would never feel tired of it. It is out of this world the wisdom and love that Serge presents in and many people travel from far and wide to listen to this amazing man present truth with simplicity and playfulness.

  60. There is nothing more beautiful than hearing the truth spoken as it awakens something within us that knows that we equally know the truth. It is the best equaliser in the world.

  61. When we hear the voice of truth it has a certain ring to it, a certain quality that is undeniable and totally familiar.

  62. LM the changes you experience are amazing, I have found person after person who have been deeply affected but the love that Serge Benhayon shares, for me and my husband our lives have dramatically changed since meeting Serge Benhayon. The beholding absolute love that Serge Benhayon offers is undeniable.

  63. Reading your story has highlighted to me the importance of sharing Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine’s teachings which are pure Gold. The UniMed Living website is a truly astounding website that around 250+ volunteers work on (which is a feat in itself) but also is a place where everyone can go to hear a Gentle Breath Meditation or pearls of wisdoms from Serge via audio snippets which can support people in their everyday life of unfoldment back to the truth http://www.unimedliving.com

  64. “My awareness of my body’s functions is becoming amazingly sharp, I pay attention to me for me, and I feel more alive because of this.” A great summation L.M of life lived via our bodies constant conversations and signals and how when we listen and move with it we can unlock a world of wisdom that has been there all along. When we love and nurture our bodies it reflects light, vitality and love right back at us.

  65. We are so powerful when we connect to truth. Truth is what bounds us.. And so we know our ways of denying our truth and or accepting it as our core of being. Either way, no matter what we choose at this moment in time, we will always be part of the Universal truth and even if we have distanced ourselves from it by our mind we can not by our heart and so will eventually return to the truth we come from, that is not from this world.

  66. Sometimes I have observed how there can be changes which are made in reaction and or in anticipation of a reaction with a defence already in place. And then there are times when change happens naturally at a very deep and personal level where no one else is involved as it is just between the person and their self – but this change is very beautiful because it does not go unnoticed and is in fact very inspiring to see.

  67. What a great testimony to someone having been open to hearing the absolute truth and now changing their lives by listening and connecting with their own inner wisdom.

  68. ‘My awareness of my body’s functions is becoming amazingly sharp, I pay attention to me for me, and I feel more alive because of this.’ Beautifully said LM for true health and wellbeing ultimately is our own responsibility.

  69. We all know what absoluteness is and we decide how much of that absoluteness we allow to be in our lives. Universal Medicine has come along and showed us in many many ways how absolute we can be with ourselves and each other. And so what we have to let go of and what we can further confirm. There is no such things as an end, and so we forever keep expanding, we are made to do so.. Brilliant!

  70. It is amazing to be so inspired, and to have that inspiration confirmed by how your body feels afterwards, because ultimately this starts to build trust in yourself again, which is amazing.

  71. Absolutely truth is registered in our bodies as a joy and a lightness irrespective of what that truth may be revealing to us.

  72. It’s a simple equation. Establish a loving relationship with yourself and this will naturally flow on to all other relationships.

  73. It can be said that when truth is expressed our hearts receive an instant pulse/signal that allows more space to beat in the rhythms of its truth. And truth is constantly expanding us.

  74. “I decided not to drink milk or eat dairy because I found that when I did it affected my lungs very deeply, leaving me feeling asthmatic.” This is exactly how dairy used to affect me. I would get terrible sinus and barely be able to breath but unlike you I did not given it up until about 15 years ago. The question then becomes if we are so aware of how something is affecting us why do we continue to use it? We are not stupid people so there has to be something in our make-up that cares more about experiencing something than it does about caring for our well-being. That “something” referred to here is called the spirit and it can only be brought into line through us deeply caring for our bodies and our being.

  75. It is so empowering to see how our responsibility to feel, move and connect with the world via our choices and movements to support ourselves to live in turn support us to connect to the all on a much deeper and intimate level. When we listen to our bodies and the wisdom shared it is amazing to feel and appreciate who we are and how we all play a part in the grander scheme of life.

  76. “I pay attention to me for me” – is really the key. I knew certain food made me sleepy/heavy/bloated – which I accepted as ‘normal’; and there were some stuff that actually brought some discomfort – but not bad enough to make me sick or cause pain, so I carried on eating those things. As I deepened self-love, I started seeing the compromise I was making for myself.

  77. My awareness of my body’s functions is becoming amazingly sharp, I pay attention to me for me, and I feel more alive because of this. LM I love your gorgeous words here, I pay attention to me for me, as you can feel a deep holding of self within those words. Thank-you for your beautiful sharing.

  78. Feeling sharp and clear is the most amazing feeling and now a foundation in my life. I sometimes make choices which take me away from this feeling but I always come back to it because nothing else can compare to this feeling of being alive.

  79. Beautiful that you have chosen to listen to your body, it just goes to show when we stop to listen and allow the awareness of what the impact is of choices then we are able to make more loving choices for ourselves.

    1. It is only by working closely with the body that we are able to find our way back home. Disconnection from the body is disconnection from life and disconnection from life is disconnection from God. Re-connection to ourselves through the body reconnects us to life and therefore to God.

  80. I love reading this blog because it reminds me of how much I have changed since attending workshops and presentations by Serge Benhayon. Some people don’t like these changes because they do not think it normal to not drink alcohol, eat bread and chips, drink coffee or fizzy drinks and go out partying and be as careless as I used to be. For me I feel so much more vital and healthy and am also so much more accepting not only of myself but of others too. I have become more deeply caring and loving. This is a work in progress as I have often been under attack and sometimes not known how to respond to the lies and allegations that have been directed my way. I am gradually feeling stronger within myself and living from that place of inner knowing.

  81. The agless wisdom is and has always been very practical and supportive on all levels. The appreciation these teachings presented by Universal Medicine have for the human body is out of this world and continue to inspire me to take great care of muself and all others.

  82. The simplicity of listening and caring for our body is also an absolute and powerful foundation for living the truth of who we truly are.

  83. I love the word absolute and it fits Serge Benhayon and what he presents very well. Where there is truth there can only be absoluteness.

  84. I love this LM because it is simple and medicine, be aware of how we live, what we eat, how we talk and listen to our body that knows more than anyone else.

  85. And this is my most favourite quality about Truth: absoluteness – an unreserved holding of the All, for all equally.

  86. ” I have made the choice to be totally aware of what I put in my mouth ” This is so beautiful and how you describe your awareness of what to put in your mouth comes from your body’s reactions to what is not good for your body . Something you had understood as a young person but now bringing it to a deeper level.
” I pay attention to me for me ” what a simplicity .

  87. ” my life has changed in many wonderful ways ” is it not amazing how our life changes when we make choices for ourselves and not from what the world wants us to do , and how this can be simply inspired by another having done the same for themselves, thank you LM for sharing and Serge Benhayon.

  88. The truths that are absolute, well they are hard to come by in our society which has become so focussed on knowledge and I formation – nothing really that is mainstream carries what is lived as true – it is all pandering in one way or another.

  89. The tools that have been offered through the amazing presentations of Serge Benhayon are simple and challenging at times, yet a constant point of pondering and are deeply respecting resources to return to time and time again.

  90. Life is lived so differently, than the current norm, when we choose to be aware. There is a clarity and steadiness that makes everything known to us.

  91. The absoluteness of truth is there waiting for us, we can deny it, ignore it or override bury it but it sits there patiently waiting for us to return to what we all intrinsically know.

  92. There is an old saying about how the truth will set us free and the fact is that it does. The moment we connect to the truth of something the freer we become.

  93. I have found one of the things the Universal Medicine Sacred Esoteric Healing courses help to support … among many many things, is change of diet. For example for years I knew drinking alcohol did not feel good but never found the will power to give this up. After attending a few Universal Medicine Sacred Esoteric Healing courses I was given the love and space to feel more of me, to discard things I was holding onto or had been carrying that was not me and connect/feel my essence. Without even trying alcohol just naturally fell away and I no longer drink which has been for 11 years. As well as this many many other things have changed for me. I feel more me and more connected to me than I ever have done before.

    1. It was the lack of trying that I also found how simple it was that things were just falling away from me Vicky. The more I was supported by attending Sacred Esoteric Healing courses run by Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine, and also having one to one sessions wiht practitioners of the Univerals Medicine modalities, I have become so much more in touch with my body and what it wants and doesn’t want, resulting in a very simple transition when it comes to giving up anything. A day comes when I just know that something I may have been addicted to for years, and I realise that I simply not just no longer want it, but that there is no longer a need for it.

    2. This example Vicky shows that there is no true evolution or growth in using willpower to make lasting changes in our life. When we feel how much something harms our body there is no trying or lack of it’s just a natural progression to stop. I found with myself that there are some things that have just fallen away with complete ease and then there are other things that could fall away just the same but for what they give me I still hold onto them.

  94. ‘My awareness of my body’s functions is becoming amazingly sharp, I pay attention to me for me, and I feel more alive because of this.’ Now what an amazing statement in and of itself. Awareness = aliveness. It says that by paying attention to our bodies, we can return to a state of vitality. That alone has wonderful implications for our self-care and, ultimately, our health care system as this is simple self-responsibility: no trip to the doctor required.

  95. Our lives cannot but change when we begin to bring awareness to how we are living and surrender to the truth we feel, allowing our inner-truth to guide us. Not only do we come to realise that love is who we are, as such we begin to honor ourselves more, but we also we are bringing to life the much needed quality of love that this world is screaming out for. The vibration of love is sure to enrich our lives to no end.

  96. I love the confidence and power you share your choices with. It’s great to be confident to listen to our body in a world where the feelings of our body are not considered much.

  97. My life has changed in many wonderful ways since – in that I have made the choice to be totally aware of what I put in my mouth” . . . . I would add to this by saying that not only have I made the choice to be totally aware of what I put in my mouth but also what comes out of my mouth as this is most important also as it is the energy that we choose that then becomes our expression. Are we with our self or not?

  98. I love this: I pay attention to me for me. Starting with the basics, always, and expanding outwardly from the steady and strong foundation that we all hold within.

  99. The choices can be surprisingly simple too with the more care and nurturing that we show ourselves.

  100. My body is sensitive to food it always has been it has just been prepared to accept that I feel a million times better emotionally and physically when i honour this.

  101. The other day I was having a conversation with someone .. or rather they were having a conversation with me! About how changing diet, like taking gluten and diary etc out does not have an affect at all and that there is no proof. The truth is forget what publications and reports have been done on diet, we (everyone) are the true and living proof with regards to diet. We are our own science experiment and like you I have noticed many positive changes within my body, health and well-being since taking things like gluten and diary out of my diet like not feeling absolutely exhausted with no energy the whole time. And how by not drinking alcohol I am more connected with my inner heart. Also I am learning this does not stay static but is forever unfolding and evolving for instance today my tummy told me I can no longer eat chewing gum like I have been doing!

  102. If we want to value ourselves more, this means all of us which includes our digestive systems.

  103. Awesome LM to see and feel the positive effects of eliminating the substances that were doing you harm. Listening to our bodies in this way opens the door to so much more – to our whole-body intelligence as Serge Benhayon has described it – and to a deeper connection to ourselves.

  104. LM, I can relate to this; ‘My awareness of my body’s functions is becoming amazingly sharp, I pay attention to me for me, and I feel more alive because of this.’ I have been refining my diet over the years, and now if I eat something that I do not usually because I know it no longer feels good in my body, then I notice the effects immediately and they are huge, I may get bloating, a headache or feel racy depending on what it is I have had, and so to me now these foods have no appeal because my body is clearly saying no to them and yes only to foods that support me.

  105. The simplicity shared here is the foundation we all need, especially if we wish to enjoy our lives and our bodies. We are constantly affected by our choices and this we don’t realise until we make the choice to feel first what that choice will bring.

  106. it is when we bring honesty into the equation that we can then truly reveal and discard the ill-behaviours that serve to keep us less than and unknowing of the truth of who we are.

  107. I love the fact that Serge does not tell people what to do, but rather presents his understanding and experience for which we can choose to explore and decide for ourselves. empowering each one to discern for themselves what is true for them and what is not.

  108. To me it is a wise thing to let our bodies tell us what we can eat or not and if everybody would be able to do that, many of the illness and diseases we are burdened with will cease to exist.

  109. Our bodies are so very sensitive and we often do not appreciate this fact. As a young person I used to feel how my lungs and chest would get affected when I had dairy yet it never occurred to me to stop having it because of my desire for cheese. The desire overrode what my body was telling me. Sooner or later the body has to give us louder and louder signals to let us know that what we are doing is not supporting us and interestingly enough that is when we often complain the most and blame the body for being a nuisance. Having a respectful relationship with our body is vital for great health and wellbeing

  110. Such simple awareness that can come to us when we choose to tune into the way that certain foods affect us. The catch 22 is that we often cannot feel what the food is doing to us until such time that we actually eliminate it from our diets, and sometimes this may require more time than we realise because of the residual effect of some foods that can last for up to 9 months or more. Great sharing LM, thank you!

  111. What I find amazing is just how attuned our bodies can be too disturbances I have itchy eyes today because of something I ate yesterday in the past I would have not even really registered the itchy eyes and never linked what I ate to the symptom. When we ignore, we override and then end up not seeing the signs our body signals.

  112. LM what you show is that we know truth and when it is presented to us there is something that resonates within us that can not be ignored. When we make the choice to align to truth it is amazing how much our life opens up and by listening to our body we become so much more aware of what is going on around us.

  113. I love that with saying yes to the absoluteness of truth there is room for each and every individual to express in full. Absoluteness is different to dogma and rules, there is a completeness that supports all equally.

  114. Serge Benhayon is presenting a way of living to us that not only brings us a better life, health and vitality but with that also a reconnection with that grander whole we are part of and have a role to play in and with that make us to resurrect to who we truly are, divine beings, and Sons of God.

  115. So simply put. You choose to listen to your body, and your body speaks to you….it really is as simple as that.

    1. It certainly is Elodie. Our body is constantly communicating to us but are we willing to listen to its messages? By connecting to our body it will guide us through life and supports us to make more loving choices. I find when I listen to my body it feel deeply nurturing.

  116. When Serge Benhayon presents I often realise that what he is saying is a truth that I already knew but was not choosing for myself.

    1. We all know the truth inside out because we are all the living truth of God. The fact that we fervently believe ourselves to be human beings scraping it together here on earth couldn’t be much further from the truth.

  117. I am so grateful that we have Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine to reflect and remind us that true love is the only way.

  118. What Serge presents is really just common sense and it feel like we know it already at some level, all we are doing is choosing to make simple choices to be more supportive of ourselves.

  119. ‘Thanks to my choice to attend workshops and presentations by Serge Benhayon, I am making changes that reflect the true love that Serge and Universal Medicine stand for – for all equally.’ Thanks LM. I realise as I read this that it has been the same for me. I have had all sorts of stories and lies told about me and those I hold dear yet I feel no malice or ill will toward the perpetrators whatsoever. The love that I feel is not a construct or an idea in my head it is real and can be felt in my body. It is not absolute all of the time for I recognise here and there a little trigger that can still get activated and this I am working on through deepening the love I have for myself, fostering my awareness and cherishing my connection.

  120. It was the feeling of absoluteness when Serge Benhayon spoke at the first workshop I ever attended that left me knowing that the decision to meet this man was indeed absolutely true. In fact it was even before he spoke that I could feel it as I watched him walk into the room and begin to write some beautiful words on the white board. At that moment I knew I was in the ‘right’ place and that place felt like home.

  121. It makes sense that as we grow and develop and change that what we put into our diets may need to change overtime. There are many things that we are not taught and if we step back and look at the trajectory of humanity one may ask why we are not teaching some of the basic things that help us to function as balanced happy healthy and productive humans beings.

  122. More and more I am finding I am having to be very careful of any foods that contain sugar, as my body is alerting me more and more that sugar is not good for me. I feel so tired for days with even a small amount of sugar, a work in progress as I work out what foods are contributing to this.

  123. Simple adjustments are profound adjustments when we are listening to what our body has been asking for all along.

  124. It is amazing that make a few changes to your diet can be so life changing, I know this has been my experience as well and I am forever grateful for Serge Benhayon always presenting the energetic truth without holding back for it has been very supportive and powerful for countless students worldwide.

  125. “I pay attention to me for me, and I feel more alive because of this.” I love what you share here. So simple, yet so power-full. When we look to others to pay attention to us, it leaves us at their mercy – sometimes elated when we get it, and somewhat deflated when we don’t. When we pay attention to ourselves, for ourselves, it is constant and does make you feel more alive. It is always our choice.

  126. A truthful sharing LM and one I can relate to in many ways! Asthma was rife in some of my family of origin and milk on looking back was considered a staple in our diets. I feel milk has much to answer for and is not the mainstay building block of good health it was considered to be!

  127. You say: “The truths he spoke of felt to me to be absolute.” That says it in a nutshell because truth is absolute and Serge Benhayon speaks the absolute truth

  128. Showing us that it is simply a re-discovering of what we already know, have known and come back to.Serge Benhayon his works are simply reminding us of all of that. So actually it is an energy that gets reflected back to us that we belong to something even if we have separated from it for some time. Because we know the truth, it is simply a matter of coming back and acknowledging all that is there step by step..

  129. Awesome to read about the changes you’ve made LM. Prior to me fully understanding how our food choices can affect us and our health, I never thought I could give up comfort foods like sugar, diary and gluten. When I started to listen to my body there was no doubt or hesitation in cutting them out. Now I feel so different, so much more energy, clarity, feeling vital and joyful. Our food choices affect us in more ways than we like to acknowledge, knowing this supports me to make wiser and more loving food choices.

  130. It is great to hear you were already listening to your body early in your life when you gave up dairy! If we could all trust ourselves enough to do the same what a healthy society we could have, and the medical system would not be so weighed down by the amount of sickness in our world today.

  131. Its interesting how something as simple as dairy can effect asthma and make the conditions worst. I never suffered from asthma but what started to become more aware of was when I had cheese or milk, my sinuses would become painful and then I would start to get a runny noise. The sinus pains are pretty intense and not worth the indulgence of dairy.

  132. Although my mind, beliefs, concepts, pictures of the world were challenged and resisting something in me resonated and knew that what Serge Benhayon presented when I attended a workshop in 2005 was true. It is not like getting convinced by someone or something, more like remembering what is already known but was forgotten or asleep for a while.

  133. LM, I am also feeling healthier than ever before since giving up gluten, dairy and sugar. I used to get bad hay fever several times a year and also when flying and giving up these foods and living a more self-loving life-style has marked the end of the dripping nose and sneezes that used to make me feel so miserable. ‘Paying attention to me for me’ brings us back to listening to our bodies which always let us know when we have made a bad move, or even if we are about to.

    1. Same here Vanessa. If I eat gluten, dairy or sugar now, I would feel awful and sick, and there is no way I would go back to eating in a way that hurts my body.

  134. I spent years dabbling with spiritulaity. Searching for something that was Not True. When I came across Serge Benhayon 6 years ago my life changed. I have made changes to my life with food, the way I react, how I connect with people the list is endless. And so it continues.

  135. The wonderful thing about absolute truth is that we instantly recognize it as such even when we resist to accept it. We know and come from absolute truth, so nothing really new is presented to us when hearing it but the individual ‘truths’ and or reality we have created is exposed for the self-centred and ignorant posture we have taken. Absolute truth is liberating us from what we are not.

  136. “I pay attention to me for me, and I feel more alive because of this.” And by paying attention to ourselves for ourselves we then find we are doing for everyone else as well.

  137. LM, I was introduced to Universal Medicine by a friend too. Before this I had been feeling and knew what I was eating was not supporting my body’s general health and well-being. I never thought I could give up gluten, dairy or sugar. I knew how these foods made me feel, heavy, lethargic, grumpy and not myself, but I felt it was going to be impossible to not eat them. But what I discovered was once I started taking more care of my body, honour and love it like never before, these foods just simply dropped away and I have been feeling amazing since. Making that same choice to listen to my body and choose to eat foods that nourish my body, instead of falling for the taste sensations and numbing effects, I am now feeling more myself and enegrised. Thanks to the inspiration from people I met at Universal Medicine, my life has changed dramatically, from feeling exhaustion to now feeling full of vitality, steadiness and joy.

  138. When I read this blog, and maybe equally for others, I get this feeling/sense that it makes simply so much sense to listen to our body when it is giving us signs.. Yet also, how I have stepped over that, and said: well what my mind says is more important and crucial! Oh oops, that is a little arrogant, since we are more body than brain/mind. So everything you share, and taking in that our responsibility is from and with energy, this ; listening to your body, is well understood.

  139. LM, Serge Benhayon certainly does support us in our awareness of our body and how things impact it. I recall for years struggling with gluten and knew this was an issue but never really stopped eating it because so many people were saying that it was just wheat I should avoid or that it was not an allergy I had so did not matter if I continued eating it. And then when I heard Serge talking about the fact that stopping gluten can make some people feel less bloated etc, I finally gave myself permission to give that a go. What a difference in my energy levels, bloating and digestion in general – I felt so much lighter and clearer! But what I find interesting was that it took someone like Serge to confirm to me that it was ok to follow what I knew was needed for my body – why? because so many people were telling me not to stop eating gluten and that this was an issue that was just in my head…It makes me realise how much we give our power away to what the masses think, even though our body knows best what suits us and what does not!

  140. I find it quite fascinating that we live in our bodies, 24/7, but we pay very little attention to our bodies or build a relationship with our bodies. Until now. Serge Benhayon is leading the way and showing us how you can live in connection with your body and build an appreciation for it and honour it. And miracle, after miracle, like you and your asthma, are occuring.

    1. Spot on Sarah, it is all about our relationship with our body – and this is something that we can work on and deepen on a day to day basis, and it never stops!

  141. LM these are very loving choices and I too have been making these choices myself. My life has improved dramatically in so many ways. I feel like a new person, well actually I feel more like myself and living without exhaustion but more love and joy.

  142. This is a celebration of how your life has changed and shows that when we express from this truth how healing it can be for both ourselves and others as it brings a confirmation to yourself and body and offers a different reflection to others that there is another way to live and when we choose to live this the joy, love and vitality can be felt.

  143. Simple amazing choices made with commitment, clarity and no complication. It’s very inspiring to read how easy it can be when the knowing is absolute.

  144. The simple truth we all know deep in essence can be the truth we all live if we are willing to bring it up to the surface and express it forth into the world. In this way humanity will arrest the waywardness that has otherwise sought to stifle this expression and seen us live far less than what we are truly capable of living when we give voice to such simple truth.

  145. Serge Benhayon presents the simplicity of life which we have forgotten, all very common sense stuff. But in the madness we live, we have complicated life.

  146. Listening to Serge Benhayon speak is indeed so inspiring and life-changing, as he seems to know so much about so many things, but is coming from not one ounce of trying to be ‘knowledgeable” or “intellectual”. Although challenging to hear at first, Serge Benhayon makes sense.

    1. Like no one else I have ever listened to. And the more I listen, the more I open my heart, the more I allow my images, beliefs and hard-held ideals to fall away, the more sense he makes. He has blessed my life.

  147. “I pay attention to me for me, and I feel more alive because of this.” What better proof could we need than to hear this! A lived experience that’s not a one off occurrence but a daily ongoing experiment and result.

  148. The less we bombard the body with unnecessary abusive habits the more we realise how much of a super radar it is to help us flow through life.

  149. I love how your body just knew to stay away from gluten and diary when you were young and that you were able to connect with how they affected your body. Life could be that simple if we just let it be.

  150. There is a certain irony that the body is the key back home to the divinity we withdrew from when we started to pursue a life through form. Our physical particles belong to the Universal Order we can never stop being a part of, even if we choose to live in separation to this.

  151. “Thanks to my choice to attend workshops and presentations by Serge Benhayon, I am making changes that reflect the true love that Serge and Universal Medicine stand for – for all equally.” That is so beautiful about the presentations by Serge Benhayon they are not just for the person attending and are shared through people starting to live what he presents as well.

  152. “My awareness of my body’s functions is becoming amazingly sharp, I pay attention to me for me, and I feel more alive because of this.” It’s one of the defining moments for me since attending Universal Medicine – the acknowledgment and choosing to feel everything that is going on around me and in me. Because for so long I had not, there was a path I had to return to and walk – the return is heaven!

  153. I love the simplicity of what you share LM, If you listen t your body you will know how different foods effect you and what to eat to best care for yourself – it’s as simple and unarguable as that.

  154. This is a great opportunity to take stock and appreciate our choice to have The Livingness as a way of life, the only way to live responsibly and in joy of who we truly are.

  155. The great thing about awareness is that as soon as we are aware we can’t become unaware. It is like the expression you can’t unsee what you have seen.

    1. Yes Luke, and then to go against the awareness can take a great force to great detriment.

  156. I appreciate the simplicity of this article, and what you have presented LM I also agree with.

  157. I have noticed, what we put into our mouth/body affects how we feel and how we feel affects how we relate to people. This then proves that our food choices not only affect us, our body, it also affects others because when we are feeling exhausted, sluggish, irritable and frustrated what quality are we communicating and expressing in? And how are we functioning at work when our energy levels are low? So, I realised eating to nourish, to care and love our body is what will support everyone, as well as our health.

  158. What a great friend you already had before they introduced you to Serge Benhayon, but I am sure you felt that they were even ‘greater; for offering you this wonderful opportunity that has obviously changed your life. Now that’s what I call a true gift, one as the saying goes, ‘keeps on giving,’ as the changes that you have chosen to make from attending Serge’s presentations slowly but surely are bringing a new and improved quality to your life. I also had one such friend and every day I celebrate that fact that he made the decision to tell me about Serge, but then left the choice to me.

  159. I love the simplicity offered here. When we take care of our bodies and listen to the wisdom offered from them, we are supporting all aspect of our lives. Beautiful.

  160. Simply and beautifully expressed, being aware of our bodies and taking true care of them offers us so much support in our lives. I did not have then will to care for myself in depth for years, something changed, I began to understand the relationships between how my body was and how I felt. This awareness has been deeply inspired and supported by Universal Medicine.

  161. We read a lot about great diets, and the changes that you mention LM can help it’s true. But this is small fry compared to the choice to take responsibility for us, our body and how we feel. It’s this that transforms life and opens up our heart just as your story and Serge Benhayon show.

  162. It is amazing how cutting out certain foods in our lives make such a phenomenal difference in how we feel. The relationship with food is an amazing reflection of the relationship I have with myself. Cutting out certain foods was the easy part with me, but understanding why I do and respecting myself of a choice true to myself deepen this relationship.

  163. When we pay attention to the details that care for ourselves it definitely brings an aliveness to all that we do, see and feel.

  164. There are so many asthmatics who could benefit from dropping Gluten and dairy from their diets! If this information were more regularly published in mainstream news what a difference it could make.

  165. In every moment we are given the choice to either breathe our own breath or take in great lungfulls of an air that is not truly ours. The former leads to an unencumbered breath that leaves our body feeling expansive and connected to the great wisdom that dwells within it, while the latter leads to a restrictive breath that leaves us feeling contracted and gasping for air for we no longer feel the majesty we are part of that originally breathed us forth.

  166. What drew me to meet Serge was the simplicity in the esoteric healing sessions I had been receiving. They were powerful and so non-desript in a lot of ways. I wondered about the power of them and felt drawn to find out more. It has been almost 9 years now, and so many changes later… Meeting Serge has been life changing for me too.

  167. Absolute… I love that word, one way or the other, no if’s, but’s or maybe’s …the truth is shared by our body, no mystery …there to read if we wish, an absolute truth.

  168. When I started to ‘team up with my body’ and work in sync with it I started to feel things that I had not been aware of before and the contentment, warmth and sweetness I can feel within myself today is in stark contrast to the exhaustion, emptiness and neediness I used to feel.

  169. My life totally changed when I started to attend the workshops and presentations by Serge Benhayon, I too am now making changes that are more loving, I am learning to respond rather then react and I have learnt to listen to my body and not override it. Such simple yet deeply profound changes.

  170. One of the things Serge Benhayon invites us to feel into and work upon is the fact that things are very much related to each other. He invites us to feel into what living a compartamentalized life does to our bodies. What comes up very clearly is that living in compartments allows us to try to shift the burden of responsibility somewhere else of what we are doing to ourselves and to others. Taking responsibility, on the other hand, is the key to start feeling how our choices affect us and to stop choosing what harms us.

  171. It is amazing how these simple choices around food can make such a difference in how you feel. There are many diets around that often focus on loosing weight and being healthy but not on how we feel – that is how foods feel in our body, how we feel after eating and thus making it about truly eating foods that make us feel great in every way.

  172. “I pay attention to me for me, and I feel more alive because of this” Bam and the truth is told. We look to others to pay attention to ourselves and man o man that is exhausting because you rarely get it and when you get it, you analyse the living be-jeez-us out of it because it did not come as you wanted it! Much better to bring it to and for yourself.

  173. All this wisdom is within us. We just have to listen and feel and trust that the body always gives us truth. So many of us were affected by the information that we received to push on, fight illness, tell our body what we want and live that so that we lived in complete disregard of our bodies and looked down on those who listened to theirs. Now we are returning to the ancient wisdom of listening to our precious bodies and what a joy this brings.

  174. It is extraordinary that a few small choices to eliminate things from your diet can have such a profound affect on the body let alone have the power to make you feel more connected and aware and as such, alive…. These loving choices we make for our bodies and ourselves, cannot be argued with such remarkable results, only deeply appreciated.

  175. Clarity in the body is something we all have, we just may choose to block that clarity with our choices.

  176. Yes our body is truly our temple in which we live and experience life. Clog it up and it will not provide the fullness it’s capable of. Just like a musical instrument – you wouldn’t put a lot of stuff in it because you know it needs the space to deliver its tunes.

  177. Its so beautiful how simple choices can make great changes. Listening to our body and knowing what feels right, especially with the kind of foods choices we make.

  178. Inspiration is a ripple, it isn’t too long when the person being inspired starts to begin to inspire others. This is the real act and science of supporting people.

  179. “I pay attention to me for me, and I feel more alive because of this.”
Hear Hear LM, I could never have imagined how confirming it is to truly honour oneself and how richly this feeds you back and in turn the world.

  180. Very simple and straightforward, thank you.It is amazing when we finally find something that really makes sense and never stops making sense. It actually just gets better.

  181. What a Beaty-full account of how a resonance of the truth can lead to such a massive change in one’s (and all those around them) lives

  182. Reading your blog and the comments this morning, it is clear that there is much power in making simple changes in your life that can have massive long-lasting changes. As a fellow student of The Way of the Livingness, I can attest to this as well. Over the years, prior to meeting Serge Benhayon, I made lots of changes but they were big deals, and often fads and driven from the thinking that I am less and need to fix myself – they never lasted. But making simple, everyday choices to support myself, to let go of what does not support me, is a whole new ball game. The changes last and effects are massive.

  183. One day, in our not to distant future, it will be known and accepted by all how harming gluten, dairy and sugar are to our system.

  184. ‘Since making the choice for myself to not eat gluten / wheat and sugars, I am feeling healthier than I have ever felt.’ Despite the predominance of sugar, gluten and dairy in food today, more and more people are becoming aware of the impact of these substances on the body.

  185. I tried for years through my teens to stop eating gluten, I knew it didn’t feel good in my body but that wasn’t enough for me to listen. After understanding more about the energetic quality of gluten and how I was using it to dull my awareness and ability to feel life I have had more to think about when a craving for bread or something comes up. It’s amazing how much sense life makes since I’ve been attending Universal Medicine presentations and how my life has changed – this is just one example among the many.

  186. Life can become really enjoyable when we team up with our body and build a relationship based on honesty, communication and honouring. We can make life a real struggle when we fight against what our body needs and treat it in a way that overrides it’s symptoms and side effects of the way we live.

  187. Amazing to read how aware you were of your body and listening to it with regards to not eating dairy. I too felt awful after eating dairy but overrode what my body was telling me because I was told it was good for me. Listening to our body is so important because no one knows better about your body than your own body. It then makes sense to listen to it carefully and honour the messages we receive to support and keep it in harmony.

  188. Thank you LM for sharing how simple it is to make changes to our lifestyle when we pay attention to what we eat and how it feels in our bodies. Then we simply have the choice to make more loving choices.

  189. Thank you LM – this is wonderful that you knew to cut out on the milk and dairy to support your lungs. So many people are not aware that such a simple thing can make such a huge difference in someone’s life. And then there are also those who have more subtle changes from eliminating dairy, which in many ways are also so extraordinary to experience – more clarity, more energy a ‘lift’ etc and not just the unclogged nose and sinuses or cleaner breathing or reduced colds and flues. Food plays such a huge role in how we feel and how our body responds to life.

    1. “Food plays such a huge role in how we feel and how our body responds to life”, I agree Henrietta. Also how we feel and how our body responds to life plays a huge role in what foods we will then choose.

  190. When I was a teenager, from ‘nowhere’ I had started to have the feeling that I could not breath in and that I was going to die because of it. I felt totally desolated. Yet, I never realised that the desolation I felt was behind the feeling I could not breath in.

  191. Presentations that which are shared are really about making simple loving choices, listening to what our bodies say and responding lovingly. Our body communicates everything when we listen and not ignore the messages. We are able to truly honour what our bodies need. We often eat more foods than we need and often the foods that don’t support us. When we stop to listen, the body gives us messages when the food is not supporting our body. This has been my experience since i have been listening to my body.

  192. LM I only can agree to what you have shared in your honest blog. To be aware what I put into my body is the best thing I ever did. It helped me to get rid of my asthma. Question: “why should I eat gluten and dairy if I knew that made me ill????

  193. Thank you LM for sharing your experiences and your wisdom; the simplicity in which you have expressed in this blog is very powerful and true.

  194. Serge Benhayon offered me the opportunity of true awareness in a way that had never been presented to me before. The way my life has unfolded since then is a huge departure from the path that I was on and could not seem to get off of no matter how much I wanted to. By building my awareness of myself and how I feel, I have been able to turn around a life that was truly going nowhere into one that is being lived.

  195. It really is that simple isn’t it LM. Just paying attention to the choices we are making and why we are making them. Taking a step back and considering there is energy involved offers us a key which unlocks a whole world of potential.

  196. I have also felt the powerful and liberating feeling gained from attending presentations of Universal Medicine and Serge Benhayon. What has made the difference is my choosing to change the way I have been doing things and being open to learning a whole new other way that truly supports my vitality, awareness and commitment to living in the world. A way that has increased my love and compassion not only for myself but for the whole of humanity. My attitude to my own participation in the world holds within it more responsibility and I am enjoying life in a more solid and steady way without the roller -coaster ups and downs that can have such a toll on our bodies and minds.

  197. Simple choices. Massive changes. When I look back on my life over the last ten years since I started attending the Way of the Livingness presentations it is almost unfathomable how radically it has changed. Yet whenI examine it closely, it really is nothing more complicated than a series of very simple choices. Simple choices. Massive changes.

    1. Beautifully said Otto: “Simple choices. Massive changes”. When we make a choice to remove the complication from our lives and are left with simplicity we have created a space for change to take place. Complication has us walking around in circles, but simplicity allows us to take one step at a time, a step back to us, as presented so clearly by The Way of The Livingness; a very simple and common sense filled way of living.

      1. We create the complication because we want to walk around in circles. That is important to accept – that we are creating it, that we are responsible.

  198. Thankyou LM, what you have shared about your awareness of your body and your diet in your line “I pay attention to me for me” is beautiful, and that is exactly it! It’s not about following someone or guidelines, it’s simply about paying attention to our own body, and making changes because of the love we feel for ourselves.

  199. Thanks LM. When I first heard presentations from Serge Benhayon they confirmed what I already knew in my body and what felt true. Everything is a choice and when you choose what is truly loving first the body responds.

  200. What I Love about the presentations from Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine is that they are just such common sense. It is in getting back to simplicity that we truly heal.

    1. How convoluted and complicated have we made life? Seriously, we’ve trussed ourselves up good and proper. Truth is always so deliciously simple and so wonderfully absolute, it’s time for us to return to the truth of who we all are. Simple.

  201. LM,
I too know the Benifits of stopping eating gluten, dairy and sugars. My body responded by loosing weight and no asthma, which had been a constant in my life since 21. The greatest miracle though has been the solid still feeling I have now in my body. Anxiety was my constant companion for most of my life, one that had me dealing with thyroid issues from the age of 2 until my late teens, then again in my 40’s. The teachings of Serge Benhayon have been the catalyst to knowing this anxiety, accepting that it is there, but not normal and so therefore letting it go. My body has responded to this approach by showing great improvement to my thyroid function.

  202. So well and simply said – when we take care of ourselves and listen to what our body needs we become more aware, more vibrant and more alive. I also have Serge Benhayon to thank for inspiring me to take more notice of what my body was actually saying rather than overriding with my mind that always wants the quick fix and no responsibility.

    1. And it is our beliefs that interfere with the truth of what are bodies are so clearly communicating. We believe ourselves to be loving and yet our heart problems tell us that we’re not, our painful periods tell us that we’re not self caring but we believe that exercising vigorously and eating salad is self care, our belief that poor digestion is only about fibre stops us from looking more deeply at what we’re holding onto and so it goes. Beliefs blocking our access to truth, as they have always done.

  203. I agree LM that Serge Benhayon makes so much sense, so much more sense than anyone else that I have heard speak . Therefore so many lives have been changed including my own, and taking full responsibility for the choices I make every day is just one of those changes.

  204. I thank God constantly for sending Serge Benhayon, for his strength, absolute divinity and dedication to Humanity. We are deeply blessed to have the ‘All in One’ with us, leading the way, inspiring us to return to our equal grandness.

  205. My life too is completely opposite to how it was when i came to Universal Medicine and met Serge Benhayon 11 years ago. I am healthier, more loving, have deeper sincere friendships, more committed than ever and purposeful in life, my diet is nourishing and supportive and mostly i am ME – no longer a picture, a role or what the world has suggested i am or can be, but breathing my own breath deep into my lungs, deeply connected to life and to God and absolutely free in every way. I am now forever fully equipped to live whatever comes my way.

  206. Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine are inspiring Humanity across the globe in every which way.
To live the love we are, to reconnect to our known truth and to live in harmony with our natural rhythm and all others is True Living – this is for certain.

  207. So amazing that such simple steps can have such a profound effect. This is what I love about this blog. So often the way of a healthier, more joyful and more connected life gets wrapped up in all kinds of ultra complicated paths – the traditional religions being the most potent and pertinent example of this. And yet, because we have God inside us already, as this article suggests, is it possible that a few super simple steps that enable us to connect to ourselves and our body will in fact take us closer to God than any number of visits to the world’s great cathedrals or monasteries?

  208. It is a true blessing to have audio presentations of what Serge Benhayon presents and teaches, they are as you say of absolute truth and game and life changers once listened to. Also this goes to show just how our diet does affect our body and from making loving choices with what we eat and drink can change our health immediately.

  209. I really appreciate those moments where through observing my body and my choices I understand something that is not right for me. It’s a very empowering moment to connect the dots and let go of a food or behaviour. There is a lot of information about nutrition but there is nothing so powerful as a direct communication from my body.

  210. Thank you LM. for sharing your experience, and the subsequent healing of your asthma. There are so many people, a large number of children that have been afflicted by asthma and are taking some pretty heavy medication for it which of course causes many unpleasant side effects. So you are a living example
of the way our food and drink are harming our bodies.

  211. It is quite beautiful how when we start to care for the body by looking at what we put into it the body immediately responds, it is as if our bodies are just waiting for us to pay loving attention to it.

  212. Paying attention to yourself, for yourself is a truly fantastic way to live. It means we end up feeling authentic and loving.

  213. I have done many changes to my diet in the past, mostly to lose weight, and yes I would lose weight for a while but I would feel sluggish and eventually the weight would come back on and more. But when I gave up gluten and dairy not only did my health improve immensely but the weight came off gradually and I became less bloated.

  214. It’s incredible to read this article and all the feed back and realise in the years since writing the rise in ‘ nut milks’ bread alternatives made from gluten free grains, and sugar free products made from cactus, stevia, rice malt syrup have all come on the market and into our supermarkets. Whilst these are a step in the right direction, have we actually asked ourselves and our bodies … Do we really need to eat these foods at all?

  215. It seems to all get down to truth, choice and responsibility as the foundation for love for ourselves. It could sound dry but the truth is that this brings a lovely freedom and lightness to the body.

  216. Serge Benhayon presents what he knows is truth from his own body and it is each persons choice to experiment for themselves whether this is also true for them. From listening to presentations by Serge I did not like or drink milk but had something of an addiction to cheese and thought it would be difficult to give it up. I decided to try giving up all dairy products and was surprised how much healthier I felt with almost constant and repeated colds disappearing. I no longer crave something that makes me feel unwell.

  217. It is a joy to feel (and listen) to the changes that happens with our bodies when we take back responsibility for what we put into it. Universal Medicine and Serge Benhayon coming into my life enabled me to ‘open my eyes’ to the truth of how I was existing and not living life. Like you LM I really appreciate and love the changes that have taken place and continue to do so.

  218. I love being gluten/dairy and sugar free. It is so great to not feel bloated all day and have sinus issues. It was through the presentations by Serge Benhayon that I realized that I had a responsibility as to what I put into my body and that my body knows what works for it and what doesn’t.

  219. At first it may seem like a simple action to take care of yourself. However from this point many opportunities open up that will compliment the new change within.

I.e. with more energy more work, possibly more capacity? All steaming from self-care. And from there it continues to develop.

  220. I love the simplicity of this blog, it is simply as it is… I got…what I eat affects how I feel. I have made choices to feel that and make choices about what I eat accordingly. Thanks LM, great wisdom.

  221. Thank you LM. for talking to us about your experience. It really is all about us honestly listening to and feeling what our bodies are talking to us about and following through on this. Self nurture and self responsibility are so important.

  222. Our bodies will tell us what is true and what is not. Universal Medicine and Serge Benhayon have been super supportive for so many people to discover this truth for themselves. I found that many in the world will encourage numbing behaviours because they do not want to feel the truth of things and like company and confirmation on this path. That is a choice for them, however it was lovely to find people who strongly supported the choice of truth over numbness, without judgement and with unbounding love and commitment.

  223. Universal Medicine have offered me the opportunity to make changes to my life, which have really supported me to find the true me. Work in progress as there is always more to unfold. I am very grateful for all that Universal Medicine has presented as it has changed my life completely.

  224. “I have made the choice to be totally aware of what I put in my mouth” such a simple statement but one that can carry life changing consequences as you have shown here. With the World Health statistics being what they are with Diabetes hugely on the rise as well as many other diseases we would be doing the world a huge service if we were all to become more aware of this simple fact and look to what foods truly support us in life.

    1. The strange fact remains that most people only listen or act to support their bodies when forced to, faced with a crisis or when clinically diagnosed with serious illness. Someone close to me, obese and struggling to walk for years, has just been diagnosed with diabetes. It took this diagnosis to propel her to take responsibility for her health: she now watches what she eats and works out three times a week. with a personal trainer. Instead of ‘ ‘I’ll wait unitil Im ill’ approach to health, Serge Benhayon has revolutionised attitudes to true health and raised awareness of the root causes of illness and disease. He teaches us that ‘life is medicine’ that we can make daily life style choices that support our bodies to stay vital and energised and prevent or reduce the onset of illness and disease. And should we become ill, our bodies are better equipped to repair and heal. Prevention is alway better than cure. Self love and self care is the only way.

      1. Absolutely kehinde2012, I have experienced the same thing – why wait for a life changing diagnosis to bring in changes that support our bodies to function properly! Note I say function, I didn’t even mention feeling good or even great. I have lived function and less than function and can tell the difference with what I now live. When I get sick my body knows exactly how to rebalance itself, I simply have to listen and get the support needed in order to facilitate that healing. Sometimes that is rest, other times it is over-the-counter medicine, other times it needs blood tests and a bit more investigation. The openness to work with our bodies and be engaged with our health is an empowering privilege and I would now say my duty. Why abdicate my health to someone else…it is fully my responsibility to look after myself and get support where necessary.

  225. This is a beautiful quote “Thanks to my choice to attend workshops and presentations by Serge Benhayon, I am making changes that reflect the true love that Serge and Universal Medicine stand for – for all equally.” What I particularly picked up on is ‘you make choices’, it is about self responsibility, no more no less, no one can tell you or do it for you. Universal Medicine for me, stands for ‘expressing love equally with all, for the all’, this is something I now learning to live, with self responsibility and it is empowering. There is no follower here I am inspired and I will continue to be, but I am responsible for how I live my life.

  226. “My awareness of my body’s functions is becoming amazingly sharp”…I love this and love reading other comments/blogs and seeing how many other people are doing the same. Tuning in to our bodies absolute wisdom. When I go to eat something my body doesn’t want, the subtlest tension in my head arises – I can then choose to override it and eat anyway or step away. But prior to Universal Medicine, I would never have tuned in to those more subtle signs my body is continually sharing.

  227. It’s so beautiful to read the strength there is in the choices that you have made. There is so much freedom in these choices and how lovely it is to feel well.

  228. ‘The truths he spoke of felt to me to be absolute.’ I do not have to add anything to this sentence as it says all about Serge Benhayon.

  229. Self-honour, self love and self-grace is what I sense in reading your words. Isn’t it amazing what our bodies are constantly telling us when we become aware and open to listening? The trick is we have devalued this relationship with our bodies and instead have put focus on getting answers from the many avenues outside of this relationship.

  230. I love the modality that Serge Benhayon introduced, esoteric yoga, for me this is a great way to connect to my body and a deeper stillness so that I can actually feel how my body responds to situations.

    1. Esoteric yoga is a great technique for marking a level of tenderness or stillness in the body, a quality we can then take with us out into the day. and with that comes a greater awareness and understanding of how we live.. It’s an awesome modality for helping us to arrest the ill=patterns we run with every day by bringing that awareness into all that we do.

  231. ‘At a very young age I decided not to drink milk or eat dairy because I found that when I did it affected my lungs very deeply, leaving me feeling asthmatic.’ This so clearly shows how much we know what works for us and what not and how absolutely wise of you to follow what you knew was true for you. This is where most of us do not want to go, really taking responsibility over our own life and health.

    1. It’s true Esther, that people do know what is beneficial or not for the body, but they are not always prepared to take responsibility for their health. You often hear people say that they know they shouldn’t have certain foods or drinks but they indulge anyway with a certain guilty pleasure. But once you allow yourself to truly feel the feedback from the body without overriding it, it is then easier to give up foods that are not supportive.

  232. As Serge once said “our body is the marker of all truth”, life has become easier with a gluten/lactose/sugar/alcohol/cafein free diet. I am less tired and my weight is more constant and variation much smaller over the years than it use to be. At the beginning I might have struggled quite a lot, I found that sugar is the hardest to cut back and I am still working on it. What we eat is always evolving, what is ok for us one day will not be as good the following day.

    1. That’s true Alexandre, and sometimes what we eat one day is exactly what the body needs, so you feel amazing afterwards, but if you try to eat the same thing the following day, because of yesterday’s results, it doesn’t work – because that is not what the body was asking for that time. A great learning to trust with what you feel is right for each moment and not go with a mental approach, but rather commit to staying aware and listening to the body’s messages.

    2. Same for me Alexandre, cutting down sugar is the hardest thing, but the more I become aware that it has more to do with how I run my day, in nervous energy, anxious or stressed, and the exhaustion that comes with that, that then results in seeking sugar to prop me up. The down side is that the sugar artificially spins the body keeping it going in those destructive and draining energies, so a self-defeating cycle. Looking honestly at what I’m reacting to and how I’m living is more effective and more healing than imposing a discipline, that usually fails anyway 🙂

  233. What Universal Medicine present in regard to the food we eat has been proven to be true as since I have cut out alcohol, dairy, gluten and sugar I feel so much better, I have so much more energy, I have lost weight, I sleep better and I dont get as stressed or suffer the same high level of anxiety that I did in the past

    1. Agreed Joe and none of what Universal Medicine presented was a rule, or an instruction. That is what made it easy to go and experiment, to learn what supported my body depending on what demands were on it.

  234. When I dropped gluten and dairy from my diet it made a huge difference to my health, my body found its correct weight, and I no longer had that sluggish bloated feeling, I felt much more vibrant too, and from there my body started telling me what to eat to support it, and what was off the menu, as it no longer supported me my body began to react to certain foods in order to get the message across.

  235. Choosing to no longer eat dairy, gluten, sugar I also have found my ills from the past no longer exist. I don’t get the annual cold, I don’t bloat which was a constant, I don’t get the occasional migraine or headache and the big one my asthma that I lived with daily has gone completely. That’s amazing as we assume it’s normal to live with a certain level of ill health but that’s only half of the story, I feel different and my body feels supported and looks the best it’s looked in years, but I also feel a connection to the inner me, one that was previously overwhelmed and dulled by the subtle abuse I put the body through, now I have clarity, perception, vitality and joy which allows me to live life in full feeling very grounded an absoluteness as you say LM.

  236. Thank you LM for this simple, straightforward, matter of fact blog.
‘The Truths he Spoke of Felt to me Absolute’, this is how it has been for me too.

  237. Yes Alison it is amazing how when we start to eliminate foods that we know cause bloating, headaches, raciness etc we become more aware and from what the body tells from this new awareness we can refine further what we eat.

  238. I enjoyed your blog LM it is amazing how well we feel when we start to eliminate foods that we know are not working well with us. Observing the body’s signs such as bloating, headaches, raciness (just a few of the symptoms) is the best way to do this and it is amazing how much the body will tell us. I am finding there is much more clarity around my thoughts and in my decision making.

    1. I agree Alison, when I make true choices on what to eat, the results of how I feel are spectacular. For years I thought it was normal to feel unwell after eating, every time, so to discover it was possible to feel great and energised instead of bloated and sick, was something of a revelation – how crazy is that. Where has the sense gone in how we present food, instead of as true nourishment but rather all the other reasons we use it for, to medicate, numb, stimulate, reward, comfort, or obliterate ourselves. The body knows what it needs if we just let it say.

  239. What a gorgeous sentence “My awareness of my body’s functions is becoming amazingly sharp, I pay attention to me for me, and I feel more alive because of this.” I have had this experience, honouring what I feel has meant that I have this vitality and joy building from within it is an awesome activity and experience.

  240. We can be our own scientific experiment, what better understanding of science can we have that one that we live through our own bodies, hypothesis, testing, observation, and results! Universal Medicine brings a true quality back to Science – one that I searched in vain for in all those years at University.

    1. Absolutely Annie, and when we lose touch with our bodies we give our power away, and become numb to the messages it is constantly telling us .

    2. I absolutely agree Annie, we are living science, we just have to observe ourselves, our bodies, our actions and thoughts with honesty and stop what is clearly not working and deepen what truly supports us.

    3. ‘We can be our own scientific experiment, what better understanding of science can we have that one that we live through our own bodies, hypothesis, testing, observation, and results!’ Just reading all these blogs and comments tells us that Serge Benhayon definitely knows what he is talking about.

      1. Yes, there are so many people living with far greater health and vitality than they have for most of their lives, not just visibly and subjectively so, but confirmed by their medical results. Others are finding it easier to manage chronic long term conditions, by testing for themselves what life choices work to support them, and what does not work. Not rocket science, put powerfully effective none-the-less.

  241. LM you made a simple choice to eat foods that support rather than dull or numb you. My life changed enormously for the better too after I made the choice to stop gluten, dairy and sugars (over a period of several years) to one in which I began to feel more and more clearly what was going on in my body, the best ways to support it and stop doing things that put it in jeopardy. The lightness and distinct lack of bloating are just welcome side effects and the greater awareness has been the greatest gift.

    1. Jeanette I have also found the greater awareness to be the greatest gift that has come from making different food choices. Until we make the change we just don’t know what we are missing out on.

  242. LM, as you say, the type of food we eat has a huge effect on our body. And for me it is an area, I can refine more and more. I can go deeper with that every day.

  243. My life has changed so much since first meeting Serge Benhayon attending his presentations and having sessions with Esoteric practitioners. Serges suggestion connect to my body and listen to what it is telling me, feel how different foods affect my health and well-being and from that discern what is right for me to eat has deepened my connection to my body and improved health and wellbeing.

  244. To feel that “absoluteness ” in the body is a connection to all of me and to the all I am. No doubt or confusion just clarity, fullness and a surety that is known and recognised in my body and it feels so solid and steady. It’s also a marker I have in my body that can steady me if I am feeling a bit out of sorts.

  245. When something feels absolute in our body we are feeling Truth – and this has a universal quality that is beyond the mental experience of ‘certainty’ or being ‘right’ – it is known from the inside of our being and from it comes no push or trying or convincing or justifying – simply a glorious solidness that when felt and expressed offers a healing for all.

  246. “I pay attention to me for me, and I feel more alive because of this.” There is nothing more full-filling or deeply nourishing than our connection with the love of our true inner selves and the wisdom of our bodies.

  247. Listening to and honouring that your body does know best is one of the simple, yet life changing things that Serge Benhayon has presented consistently over the 15 years I have known him. This has completely changed the way I live. It is the thing that I most share with other people who are still stuck (as I was) in trying to follow the latest fad, scientific advice etc. If we were all aware of this and understood the implications, perhaps our health and healthcare systems would not be in the mess they are in.

    1. I completely agree Fiona. It is one of the most simple yet most challenging things Serge has presented for me as well. I remember once coming home from a debauched weekend away and saying to my body – oh I am so sorry as I could feel what I (the head) had put it through. But yet it so lovingly still chooses to operate for me when I am like that BUT it has to spend time processing the ills as opposed to supporting me and the showing me the innate wisdom it contains. I am very grateful to Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine who have shown me very simple and practical ways to listen and honour the body so it can now spend more time doing what it is naturally meant to do than processing my debauched weekends. And how lovely is it to spend time with your body.

      1. This is great how you describe this sarahflenley, of exactly how much our bodies still work for us even when we are not always making supportive choices. It offers us the possibility to consider that by listening to, and working ‘with’ our bodies, how much more we can support ourselves and create a relationship where we can support it to do what it is naturally there to do…. This just gives me a deeper appreciation of our bodies and how much and how consistently they are talking to us all the time, even when we don’t want to or choose not to listen…

  248. Universal Medicine offers an opportunity to fall back in love with ourselves, to really honour our bodies and our feelings, this is the sweet sweet music that the world is crying out for.

  249. Absolutely, I would say that whenever I was at any presentation, that Serge was speaking my language, as he awoken what I had known for a very long time, the language of the heart as the heart ‘knows’ and speaks to us equally. It makes complete sense. It is up to us and what we do with it that makes all the difference. Thank you LM for I love the simplicity of your sharing.

  250. These are powerful words LM, ‘‘my awareness of my body’s functions is becoming amazingly sharp, I pay attention to me for me, and I feel more alive because of this.”
I have connected to my body deeply, that offered me to actually feel what certain foods, choices and behaviors are doing with me, I noticed that I could actually observe myself more instead of absorbing basically everything that I came across. I feel that I am finally feeling and loving my body again – as it did not made sense to me before to not feel any connection with myself or truly with others. I had been floating around (without legs so the speak) and now I am more standing on earth (with full legs) then ever before. I feel my body and it is so great to feel it!

  251. I have noticed a huge difference in my health – although its not 100%, I used to suffer from colds at least 3-4 per year and now I hardly ever get them. Going off gluten and diary has made a huge difference to my body and wellbeing.

  252. Making very clear choices around what we put in our body is a very simple yet powerful choice which we can make in our lives. It has consequences for our well-being and overall awareness of our feelings and our body. It is great to have an experience of absoluteness or inner-knowing – which you described in listening to the audios and meeting Serge. When we have an experience of this deep knowing, we can be encouraged to bring this quality to all areas of our lives from the food we eat to the quality of our relationships. If we are guided by our inner-knowing and have had an experience of what this feels like, we can choose a course that is true for us – no formulas or ideals, simply true choices one step at a time.

  253. what a lovely simple blog, yet the message is so delicate and gentle and clear. Self honour, self love and self grace is what I sense in reading your words.

  254. The effects of deeply caring for the body are profound. The next step could be to look at the emotions we all put into our body and see if removing them makes a difference.

    1. Yes suzanne anderssen. Eating when we are emotionally upset is a definite recipe for mal digestion and the correct absorption of nutrients to the body. Like wise if we cook when we are upset and then eat the food that is tainted with our, or others, emotionally-charged energy whether that be excitement, sadness, anger, frustration, resentment, that will have a deleterious affect on our bodies and sense of well being. Let’s face it, emotions are bad news, they disturb the potential for harmony, and stillness in the body.

  255. I enjoy the freshness and joy expressed in this blog. It feels amazing to make these changes and see this commitment to health and true self care flourish and support daily life. I know this has also been true for me.

  256. LM thank you for sharing your experience of Universal Medicine. You are not alone as many many other people have embraced these amazing teachings and have transformed their lives.

  257. Yes, I too am forever grateful to Serge Benhayon and the truth he brings re living a healthier and more vital, joyous lifestyle, for all of humanity to benefit from.
Great to see L.M. that you have benefitted from removing gluten, dairy and sugar from your diet and your health is greatly improved.

  258. Beautiful LM. Serge certainly does present another way, a way that leads us to truth, health and wellbeing, vitality, and better choices in our life. I appreciate all that he shares with us all, as you say, equally.

  259. It’s not surprising that what we take in becomes who we are. This has been known for ages yet we ignore this and even create substances that take us further away from ourselves, as in mind and behavioural altering recreational drugs and alcohol and cigarettes. It is great that you discovered the harm that dairy products were causing you, and gluten and sugars too and what’s more you listened to your own wisdom and made your life so much better by leaving them behind. I find this sensitivity to foods and the continual adjustment of ones diet a huge support to my well-being. The difference between feeling alive, vital and centred in myself to being forgetful, confused, distracted and feeling less motivated and able to enjoy myself.

  260. It’s easy to look back on my previous diet and wonder why I enjoyed so many things that I knew innately were best not suited to my body, and I was eating and getting fatter every year. Yet I went along with the old idea as you get older this happens … Right! Well no … I am back to my ideal weight and that’s been chosen by my body. I eat according to my bodies feelings and choices and putting on weight just doesn’t happen anymore. And bonus my asthma has gone completely!

  261. For me, I found the absolute dedication that Serge Benhayon has to living what he is presenting really supports me to stop and listen to what my body is telling me. It’s not that he is telling me what to do; rather, I’m inspired to check out for myself what feels right for my body. I love that I am deepening this self understanding every day.

  262. “At a very young age I decided not to drink milk or eat dairy because I found that when I did it affected my lungs very deeply, leaving me feeling asthmatic” amazing. I find it amazing that at a young age you had the know how and the confidence to say no to dairy because you felt how it affected you. It’s brought back to me that when I was younger there were so many things that I knew were harming me, but I went along with them. The reason is because I found that stating my truth brought a lot of reactions from people, because there was so much power in a little body. Thanks for sharing that we all know innately what is true for us and what is not.

  263. It really is absolute and clear when the body says no to a simple choice to be totally aware of what we put in our mouth, the body holds this memory that this food in harmful and there is no need to go there at all. There are countless examples like when the body no longer gets asthma after saying no to dairy. It does not get simpler than that.

  264. Thank you LM for your blog as you demonstrate so simply the correlation between what foods we consume and its direct consequence on our body. It is learning to self care and take responsibility that certainly improve our health and wellbeing.

  265. That is so amazing, how our food choices directly influence our well being. Food can harm us or heal us. The harming part is for me, when I eat too much, too fast or the wrong food for me, like gluten, sugar and dairy.

  266. I agree LM, when I first meet Serge Benhayon it was obvious to me the truth he lived and presented was Absolute as well. Through making simple self-loving choices I now have more energy and vitality than I did 20 years ago, listening to my body has been key to these changes.

  267. It really is simple, as you say LM, making the choices that feel good to our body has got to be better than all the others. ‘Paying attention to me for me’ – responsibility in action!

  268. To change things in our lives that do not work is simple and does not have to be hard work but it takes consistency and loving discipline and an open heart and ears to listen what our bodies tell us.

  269. When we actually take the time to listen to our body it brings an amazing awareness, of what feels supportive, what blows it up and what you eat to fuel it, but actually drains it. My own health improved enormously when I gave up dairy and gluten along with alcohol.

  270. Interesting that you felt how deeply dairy effected your lungs as a child. I remember having this awareness as well. We were so in touch with our bodies, we knew instantly what isn’t right for us. This has been coming back as I have started to listen more carefully to what my body is telling me and starting to honour whatever it is feeling.

  271. Thanks to the teachings of Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine I have come to see that my body is my best friend. It is such a great marker that shows me whether what I am doing to it is supportive or harming.

  272. So simple are the absolutes of truth. To feel the depth of ones self care through our choices is one of the most joyful gifts we can give ourselves and like Otto shares, some thing our children can have for themselves without interference.

  273. Isn’t it amazing how we continue to eat foods out of habit that make us feel less than we truly are and it takes someone (such as Serge Benhayon) to make the suggestion that perhaps they’re not so good for us after all that we then take stock and truly connect and feel what’s really happening within our bodies.

    1. Yes Deborah, after all it’s our own body we are abusing and pushing to the limits till our body has to give us a sign to stop… It’s then and only then are we willing to pay attention and heed the messages our body so loudly delivers.

  274. Simple and elegant. Great to hear those choices are being made LM in Canada.

  275. Simple truth is expressed so clearly through our bodies – amazing confirmation of taking the time to listen to that truth we all hold within.

  276. Since I have given up dairy and gluten, I have not had a single case of bronchitis, a condition that used to affect me every year without fail.

  277. LM, what you share about your experiences with food supports the fact that food is definitely medicine, or its not.

  278. Yes I have had similar experiences. My health, vitality and well-being has improved out of sight – crazy that I ate food that hurt my body and made me feel yukky for so long.

  279. I am sure just how one day they found out the world is not flat they will indeed find out how actually harming foods like dairy and gluten are to the body.

    1. I often think this exact same thing samanthaengland. How our children and children’s children will look back in amazement at what we were doing to our bodies. Smoking is one such example which proves that humanity is craving the truth and that once they accept it, things change very quickly.

      1. Yes Ottobathurst, it was really not that long ago it was taught that the world was flat. Time will indeed tell that Gluten and Dairy are in-fact harmful to the body.

      2. Absolutely Ottobathurts, smoking is a smoking hot example, for in the future this would be sugar too i reckon. This is just only food. There are so many more examples that do wear us down and harm us – also for example : the way we walk, possibly emotions.. So many things we can look at and feel how it is affecting us. Being reflected by Universal Medicine , my responsibility in life , i know this is a reflection for us all to look deeper our eyes might see.

      3. Absolutely samanthaengland and ottobathurst, history has proven to us many times that a lot of things about unhealthy foods and other unhealthy habits were known to us, but a majority of people chose to stay in ignorance and the minority who spoke up were dismissed because people just did not want to give up their habits, or “tasty” foods.

    2. Indeed we know already how harming these foods are – there is extensive research and evidence into the harmful effects of gluten and diary on the body. If the World Health Organisation was to truly make change & remove these foods from our shelves, its fascinating to ponder the potential impact this would have on our health services, a whole host of ailments abated.

      1. Yes Lucinda, removing gluten and dairy may feel uncomfortable to many at first as their bodies adjust (going cold turkey!) but without doubt everyone would notice the profound benefits after awhile of not having these substances impact the body.

      2. What an experiment this would be Lucinda. I can imagine quite an uproar and disturbance to begin with, and given time, the incredible shift in people’s health and wellbeing would be undeniable.

      3. It’s a fascinating prospect. I remember a while back when it became law in the UK to wear a seat belt. There was such a huge uproar, such immense resistance (my father who was so defiant about many of these kinds of things would click in the seat belt – behind his back, so that it looked like it was clicked in, but actually was behind his body!). Now, putting on your seat belt is seen by all, except the most extreme, as a no-brainer – an obviously sensible and self-loving thing to do….So, maybe, one day, it’ll be the same with a gluten and dairy free diet. The situation with these foods is more complicated though, because zillions of $$ are made through our consumption of these foods…..and, more importantly, we consume these foods to fill the holes in our lives…so until we change the way we live, it’s hard to imagine us choosing not to eat these foods.

  280. I always thought of myself as ‘healthy’ despite the daily bloating.
I didn’t realsie these were a consequence of eating Gluten. I was comparing my eating to others and not listening to my body that was very clearly sending me severe pain messages. I now realise I didn’t want to give up on the comforting foods and connect the dots. Now gluten has gone, looking for comfort in food has gone and I’m back pain free and feeling the vitality and clarity to read the messages my body sends me.

    1. Awesome Merrileepettinato! It wasn’t until I cut gluten out that I understood what bloating actually was. I never really clocked that I had any pain after eating, only overeating perhaps, but it’s so interesting how much we put up with because we think it’s normal. It’s not until we actually experience our bodies functioning properly before we really learn what normal feels like.

  281. We have this slogan here in Holland saying ‘Milk is good for everybody’. How important it is to not listen to these kind of marketing words and to really listen to our own bodies. The marketing department from the milk company does not know my body, I only do.

    1. Growing up in Queensland, there must have been a government mandate that the schools provide milk for all students, so early every morning a truck delivered crates of milk cartons to school that would be sitting in the hot sun for hours until morning tea when we made to drink them. Sometimes the milk had gone off, and we’d try everything to avoid having to take it, but it was a school order, leaving us feeling sick and with a tummy ache. The dairy and grain industries have huge influence over government and media, and so there needs to be a significant voice to represent those who have discovered for themselves that these substances have been harmful for them, and contributed to many health issues..The evidence questioning current beliefs is growing but there are powerful forces at play to stop this information from being widely known, and those who speak up are often branded as dangerous crackpots for questioning what has become so entrenched in our society.
People are not recognising that tremendous amount of money are at stake for these industries and so they will fight for their survival and their profits and may be blinded to what is really going on. We need a stronger platform to support true enquiry into what is beneficial for us. Most importantly science and medicine and the Government need to stay open to what is being presented from all sides, not just the pharmaceutical and food industries. Fundamentally we need also to respect the individuals right to choose what is best for them.

      1. This sounds horrible Annie C, when milk, not to mention the times it had gone off, is forced upon children. But that is exactly what is going on as you share: “People are not recognizing that tremendous amount of money are at stake for these industries and so they will fight for their survival and their profits and may be blinded to what is really going on.” It is not about people’s health or wellbeing but about money.

      2. That’s just wrong on so many levels Annie, thank you for sharing this with us all. We are being ‘fed’ so much (literally and metaphorically) by corporations who want to make money of us and the government allows it because they are also making money out of it and often it is being hailed as what is good for us. The legacy of being forced fed dairy and the marketing campaign that dairy is an essential part of your diet, will take a long time to unravel. People need to rain it back in and start looking at their bodies about what is right for THEM and not what is being told.sold to them.

    2. I had to smile when I read your comment Mariette, but it is an absolute truth that all people should be aware of. All the glamorous advertising might seem real and look like they care for your health, but the only true message is the one your body is showing you.

  282. Thanks LM – I have found the same thing, that the body can let you know far better than any medical test what is true for it to eat and what doesn’t work. As one who was undiagnosed coeliac for more than 20 years before it was confirmed, but my body was plain as day telling me not to eat gluten. Had I heard the presentations of Serge Benhayon then, I might have figured it out earlier and saved myself 20 years of being unwell. I now have vitality not dreamt of in decades – imagine how life could have been all this time.

  283. I used to suffer from bronchitis every year – without fail. My last bout was 7 years ago, when I started really listening to what Universal Medicine presented, and that coincided with my initial choice to give up gluten and dairy. But more than that, it co-incided with my choice to start dealing with the reasons why I was choosing foods that were clearly not good for me.

    1. Interesting Adam! I used to get bronchitis every year as well! When I stopped having dairy this pattern stopped.

  284. Short and sweet and to the point LM. More and more we see on the news and in the papers how important a healthy diet is, but what they are all missing is the vital point that we have to truly feel and do what is right for our own bodies. By cutting out dairy my wife no longer gets asthma. How much of a message is that? By me cutting out dairy and gluten, cigarettes and alcohol I no longer suffer from horrendous heart burn.

    1. Great article, and great further confirmation kevmchardy. There are countless examples out there like this. My daughter has had asthma and is learning the absolute direct correlation between her asthma and her level of self care. It’s a undeniable relationship that she (and us) have seen play out so many times, and it is a huge blessing to her (and us, and her brothers) to be so aware of this at such a young age.

      1. Yes I remember our doctor as a child said to try cutting out dairy and we just pooed pooed the idea, imagine the difference it would have made if I had just listened and tried it out for myself I could have been free of asthma as a child instead of in my thirties. I find it interesting the correlation of self care and asthma for your daughter Otto. So much more to all of our illness and disease than what we currently look at.

    2. Same here Kevmchardy, cutting out dairy and gluten as an experiment turned my life around, and enjoyed a return to health i had not experienced for over 35 years.

      1. Yes diana1975 there is no such thing as a diet book. Listening to my body and making simple changes has been key for me: to not eat wheat as it had me retain fluid, dairy bloated me, sugar fattened me up and my life choices contributed to my asthma. Overtime I eliminated the foods that were harming me and sought the support of a Universal Medicine practitioner to clear my hurts and sadness – and the asthma stopped! I now listen to my body and it supports me to have a life I was doubting was possible for me as nothing I had tried previously had worked. Our body knows what supports us – listening to mine has been life changing.

      2. I agree 100% Diana. I am so glad that I am free of all the diet plans/books/fads (and I have tried many) and decided that my body knows best and when I care for it (to the best of my ability and with no perfection) that it is THE most powerful guideline at all. And since I decided to do that, I have lost 20 kilos and kept it off with no issues at all. I tried for about 20 years to lose 5 kilos and never worked!

      3. That is amazing Sarah and it proves that loosing weight is so much more than a case of dieting, but reclaiming and re-establishing the connection with ourselves

      4. It’s the reconnection to ourselves and the loving attention we pay our body that brings about these profound positive changes to our health and wellbeing. That is exactly why so many of the Universal Medicine students are experiencing amazing changes with their health and wellbeing. It’s simple and it works.

  285. Thank you LM for this blog. I totally concur with all that you have said. Since meeting Serge Benhayon and attending Universal Medicine workshops I have a new marker of true wellbeing in my body.

  286. It’s amazing how a simple choice to listen to our body can bring about the changes that impact our entire life. What Serge Banheyon presents is very simple and makes a lot of sense, and many agree and are inspired to make the same choice. What really stands out for me is how consistent and steady he continues to be, and that paves the way for what is also available to us.

  287. there is a constant search for miracle cures and sustained weight loss. What you present is such a simple way to make amazing changes in our health, bodies & lives – thank you.

  288. What a confirmation of the amazing effects that choosing to make loving choices and caring for oneself can do, thank you for sharing your experiences LM.
Serge Benhayon and Universal medicine have been an inspiration for me and many others, to make these choices.

  289. It is all about choices, what we put in our mouths is one of them. And if it truly supports our body…? Just wait and feel.

  290. Thank you LM. Before coming into contact with Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine I believed I had no choices. The way my body was the way it was: tired, bloated, overweight, numbed out to life and there was no other way. Universal Medicine and Serge Benhayon showed me another way, that there is such a thing as choices and that I can choose how I am in my life. This my body deeply appreciates for its wellness and aliveness.

  291. You had the awareness as a child to link the food you ate to how your body felt afterwards. We all have this awareness but choose to override it. It’s wonderful that you have returned to this and now feel to honour and respect how your body feels.
    Thank you LM.

  292. Thank you – I really enjoyed this blog. I particularly loved this sentence: ‘I pay attention to me for me, and I feel more alive because of this.’ I find the same, the more I pay attention to myself and my body and respond accordingly, almost the richer and more lovely life gets.

  293. Universal Medicine has helped me greatly in appreciating myself and becoming more connected to my body. There is much work to do yet and as a student I am keen to discover all that I can be thanks to the readings and workshops offered.

  294. The Universal Medicine presentations have offered me the opportunity to connect to and feel absolute truth within myself and listening to this has changed my life profoundly.

  295. I love the way you declare “I pay attention to me for me”. This self awareness is clearly contributing to the way you share how you are feeling more alive. The loving choices you made reflect the simple but powerful presentations that Serge Benhayon offers.

  296. Thank you Lm for sharing your story, what Serge Benhayon presents is so simple and so true , I have experienced a greater quality of life with more energy and more joy, by making more self loving choices , why, because I am worth it.

  297. The presentations and teaching of Serge Behayon and Universal Medicine are second to none; this man is the first person that made concrete sense to me and lives what he speaks about. Thank you LM for sharing the loving changes you were able to make through the teachings of Serge.

  298. Over 13 years ago I met Serge Benhayon for the first time. Even though I wasn’t aware I was looking for that absoluteness, I knew at that point I had found the real deal. The love and support I have been given over these years has never stopped or lessened and has also seen the way I am with food change enormously. Just one mouthful of a food that doesn’t agree with my body is felt. Listening to my body has become part of my every day and has helped me to heal in so many different areas of my life.

  299. The fact that presentations by Serge Benhayon make a lot of sense is an understatement. It is Truth and the choices I have made afterwards have changed my life and health beyond measure. Thank you LM for an inspiring blog.

  300. ‘Listening to your body’ is such a simple and naturally common sense idea, however is given so little credence in the modern medical paradigm. After years of ill-health with an undiagnosed gluten allergy, I finally made the choice to give up gluten (just before diagnosis) through listening to Serge’s presentations and having to admit to myself that I actually knew deep down it was affecting me. Health-wise I have never looked back, but I could have saved myself years of ‘suffering’ by the simple choice to honour what my body was telling me.

  301. I know that if I never attended another presentation again, I would never return to my old way of living and eating. My choices now with discerning how and what I eat make me feel so much healthier. I don’t always get it right, but I can feel so much more when this is happening now. Why would I ever choose differently?

    1. I totally agree Gill, if I never attended another presentation I would never go back to my old choices, and complete disregard of myself and others around me. Taking responsibility and choosing a love that is always deepening is too important to ever walk away from.

  302. A great reminder for me reading your blog LM. I am choosing to make different decisions for myself concerning food but sometimes slip up, no excuse I know! Serge Benhayon is an amazing example to us all.

  303. Serge Benhayon and the love he lives, which is felt in his presentations, resonates strongly in my body. I can deeply feel the truth of it. Since I started to make changes myself and learn to listen to what my body is telling me I feel healthy and vibrant.

  304. Hi LM, the beautiful thing about the presentation is that it all makes sense, but by truly living what is presented it becomes your truth.

    1. So true Diana, by living in such a way where I honour my body and feelings in my choices, I can feel the truth of things so much more clearly.

  305. “I am making changes that reflect the true love that Serge and Universal Medicine stand for – for all equally.” ‘For all equally’ – this is the game changer for me – it is what makes the difference. Until you feel it, is is hard to describe – and when you feel it you realise how rare it is in our world. Now I understand that feeling when I do come across it, as there are amazing human beings out there in our world – and I make sure I appreciate it.

  306. Yes LM, the changes I have made in my life really improved my health and my awareness of the interconnectedness of everything we do.

  307. LM your awareness of your body is truly amazing and it just shows that if you are really ready to listen to what your body is telling you, it will tell you exactly what it does and doesn’t need. Pretty cool.

  308. LM we have, as a society over complicated things on a grand scale. In fact we are often drawn to things that are more complicated in the false belief that it must hold more of whatever it’s promising us ! How simple is it, as you say, to ask the body’s opinion and then follow it ! Bingo !

  309. Yes, I also felt that I knew what Serge Benhayon was presenting and that it felt so true inside me also. I also experienced many benefits since removing gluten and dairy from my diet, including a reduction of my asthma.

  310. That is the beauty of the teachings presented by Serge Benhayon; when you start to live them you will find out for yourself that they are true and this has been my way too. I sensed what he was presenting was true but through living it, I really experienced what he talked about and I can now say what Serge Benhayon presents is the truth.

  311. I know what you mean L.M. those audio presentations are so solid, the truth is absolute, there is no grey area.

  312. Thank you LM how amazing is it that when we take care of what we put into our mouths we ultimately feel better. I know so many people who have sinus and asthma difficulties and the few who have given up dairy are no longer affected. It seems to me very obvious that dairy congests the body, I know when I used to eat it I would feel bunged up for days making me feel like I could not breath properly.

  313. Such simplicity in this sharing and how listening to the body supports our wellbeing, because the body knows….I had chronic asthma at a very young age until my twenties and it gradually improved yet I was totally dependent on medication, without it I could’ve died….now I am medication free, I have not had asthma for the past 10 years, not even a minute attack. I can laugh without bringing on an asthma attack…I know this is attributed to connecting to my body, listening and caring for my body, working on my deep grief and pain from old hurts…and over time whoola – wellbeing and a joyful laugh without heavy breathing. In appreciation to Serge Benhayon, Universal Medicine and the practitioners whose love and care has supported me.

  314. I can agree totally to your comment, ‘…My awareness of my body’s functions is becoming amazingly sharp…’ I love feeling exactly what my body is telling me and why I am feeling that way. With this clarity, it feels like I have a sixth sense as I can feel much more clearly what people really mean – deciphering what it is they are meaning when they don’t actually say the words. Food has the tendency to numb this ability so it is awesome to have an awareness or understanding about food and what sits right in me.

  315. Thank you LM. Yes I love the emphasis you have on the word choice, because this is what Universal Medicine and Serge Benhayon offer to the world. They offer wisdom and perspective on so many subjects, from self-care to self-image, from weight-loss to how to eat to live an optimum life, on expression and music, so many aspects of life and living that, when we are more informed, allow our choices to be much more self-empowering, and one is never told what to do, it is always a choice.

  316. I can so relate to what you are saying LM. Through hearing presentations from Serge Benhayon and studying Esoteric Philosophy, I have truly started to have a loving and healthy relationship with my body. I now support my body in ways I never thought possible, and it certainly thanks me for it.

  317. I am keenly aware that Serge Benhayon only ever presents what he has tried and tested and works for his body. That’s why he has so much integrity – because he doesn’t just take someone else’s word for it no matter who they are.

  318. “My awareness of my body’s functions is becoming amazingly sharp, I pay attention to me for me, and I feel more alive because of this.” I am with you there, I know my body so much better than I ever have and it supports me to listen to it. Life is more full and I am much more present then I have ever been and this is through paying more attention to my body.

  319. When we hear something that someone says that resonates deeply within us as truth, we know that that something has always been within us – it is just the person reminding us of this knowing, that naturally is within us all.

  320. Doesn’t the body speak clearly – well listened LM, goodbye dairy for many = goodbye asthma. Dairy left me feeling acidic, devitalised, heavy, clogged up and with a constant postnasal drip – very glad to have left it behind. What was interesting for me was that whilst having dairy my calcium count was so low and the acidity in my body was found to be stripping my bones of needed minerals to counter the acidity – and now without dairy, and having more easily bioavailable calcium sources like seaweed, it is back up and stable. There seems to be a bit of a lie we are being sold by the dairy industry and goverments who are so invested in the industry profits. Makes me stop and wonder where we went of track when life is not about people anymore.

  321. In my old life, I felt that doing what everyone else does was normal and I didn’t question the food I ate, didn’t question the bloating and weight that I put on, the lack of a restful nights sleep – the list could go on. We have much to appreciate about ourselves that had us go to a Serge Benhayon presentation and what we took away from that presentation that had us look at ourselves in a completely different way: that there is a different to live life!

  322. I fully agree with “my awareness of my body’s functions is becoming amazingly sharp”. Thank you LM in Canada for writing this.

  323. Beautiful LM. When I started being honest about what certain foods did to my body, many of them were so easily let go of…. no time at all, as they were foods that I always knew from a child did not belong in my diet. This keeps changing and unfolding with foods I used to feel fine with but now I feel discomfort after eating. There is so much power in listening to our bodies.

  324. It was like this for me too. It was like Serge was presenting things in such a simple and down-to-earth way. It was like he was saying the things I have felt for ages but never honoured. So very empowering to take this away and feel inspired to re-claim my true truth in my every day life.

  325. It is strange isn’t it how we eat foods that are not good for us, know they are not good for us, eventually stop eating them and then look back and wonder how we ever used to eat those foods because we feel so much more alive now.

    1. Totally agree Elizabeth, it’s quite absurd what we do to our bodies having very clear knowledge about the possible harm that it is causing. And not only the knowledge we feel it so clearly in our bodies and just decide to override it. And yes the vitality that I feel today by living from my body and not off my body is absolute!!!

    2. Great observation Elizabeth. It just seems to be an ongoing process of mind verses body. I continually ‘talk myself into’ making it okay to eat food that my body doesn’t really want. But we do slowly get there, step by step.

    3. As a kid and later in life, when I did indulge in food I wasn’t suppose to eat, part of me didn’t accept that life could be great without deserts, treats, ice cream and chocolate. before I met Serge I already had made some adjustments to my diet, however it wasn’t it. First of all my diet was complicated, time consuming and hard to follow (macrobiotic) there was still areas in my life that I could not put a finger on, I was struggling emotionally and my body was aching.

    4. Wow! Spot on Elizabeth, the things I used to put into my body and the feelings that allowed me to do that are no longer part of who I am thanks to the presentations of Serge Benhayon. As a simple examples if I now smell cigarette smoke it makes me feel sick, and even a hint of sugar or sweetener in food smash me, which is very similar to a hang over.

  326. It took me awhile to make the commitment to change my old habits that were holding me back. Once I did, my awareness to how much food affects me was heightened. I am now making changes according to what my body needs. I am learning to make more loving choices everyday.

  327. What an awesome feeling – to feel alive. So many people don’t feel like this and have to drag themselves through the day. It is easy when we work with our body rather than against it

  328. This has also been my experience. The first workshop I attended I walked out saying ‘that man is speaking my language!’. How amazingly true that statement was as 7 years on I feel more like myself than I have in a very, very long time. The ‘language’ Serge Benhayon speaks is the language of the heart and it speaks to all equally. It is what we do with it after we have heard it that makes all the difference. Thank you for this blog, it is very simple and so very powerful.

    1. Totally – when I attended my first presentation by Serge I remember thinking – thank god finally something that makes sense, and finally someone is saying everything I’ve always felt.

      1. Yes, Meg, I find that every presentation I attend with Serge Benhayon always makes complete sense and expands my understanding of life in so many different ways.

  329. The truth Serge Benhayon presents is equally in us and that is the beauty with him, that he helps us to remind and reconnect to the same source he is connected to. He shares his connection with this truth with us because we have forgotten and lost our connection with this a long time ago.

  330. I follow many comments before me and most likely many more after me….Serge is the real deal and speaks the truth. How do I know that? Because my whole body nods when he talks. I have lost count of all the a-ha moments in listening to this great man. He just makes great sense of all the complexities that we as the human race have made life out to be.

    1. ‘…my whole body nods when he talks” – I love that! And so does mine. And you’re equally correct about Serge Benhayon making sense of all the complexities of life we’ve created. I’ve never understood so much about so much!

  331. I had a similar experience to you LM. It was a revelation for me to hear simple common sense spoken from the heart. Though I didn’t ‘get’ a lot of it at the time, I sensed it was true and continued to listen to what he had to say. I am so glad I did today. It is gorgeous to see so many people, like you here, beginning speaking from the heart too. Serge Benhayon is the real deal and an amazing role model for us all.

  332. How easy it is to make changes for the better! And it was not before I got in contact with Universal Medicine, that I really had proof of this ease. With Hatha-Yoga, Sweat-Lodges and many other things I tried they always said “It was easy”, but the experience for my body was hard.

  333. When I first listened to Serge Benhayon and what he presented it changed my life. I know it’s the truth and although it can be challenging at times, I learnt to take responsibility for all my choices I made, including the food I eat and how my body is feeling – something that is certainly work in progress for me.

  334. I too found when I attended my first workshop with Universal Medicine, and heard Serge Benhayon present, that I felt the truth in what he was saying. It took me a few years to truly allow myself to feel the absoluteness of the Truth I was hearing and feeling, but now 8 years later, I know, without a doubt know that what is presented by Universal Medicine and Serge Benhayon is the Absolute Truth and my life has changed insurmountably because I have allowed myself to re-connect to this absolute truth within me. The changes I have made have come from this re-connection and the support of Universal Medicine, Serge Benhayon, Universal Medicine practitioners and the ‘student body’.

  335. I used to have asthma too, but since making changes to my food choices and giving up diary completely, along with healing old issues that were probably the trigger and part of the whole bigger picture, asthma is a thing of the past.

  336. Serge Benhayon has inspired me to make many changes in my life, listening to my body and what I feel is my guide for this and with my food choices.

  337. LM it’s great to see and read what the effects are when you listen to your body and eat what feels to support you instead of something that gives the quick fix to the exhaustion so many of us live with. I also felt the difference what I put in my mouth makes to how I feel after the meal and for quite a long time after that. It’s these simple and practical actions that change how we feel in and about life.

  338. My contact with Serge Benahyon through listening to audio, watching webcasts and attending Universal Medicine workshops, has supported me with many life choices that have brought a genuine quality of divineness to my life that I had been seeking. Sometimes it has taken me a while to understand what has been presented, but I love the moments when the ‘penny drops’ and I get to feel the expansion and lightness in my body. The next step in my work then awaits me in an never ending unfolding process.

  339. Thank you LM for the simplicity of how we can have a profound impact on our health and wellbeing by listening to our body’s little messages and follow its loving guidance.

  340. Eliminating dairy was the most wonderful thing I could have ever done for my body.
As a child I loathed milk, but lived in a family for whom “dairy is good for you” was a mantra. So I drank lots of milk (urgh) and ate lots of cheese (yum!). I also suffered constant sinusitis, post nasal drip and asthma that had me hospitalised on many occasions. Fast forward to 2007 and meeting Serge Benhayon. I started to acknowledge that what I was eating was not working so well for me. A hearty goodbye was said to all things dairy – including the cheese.
With no intention to fix the breathing I noticed over the next 6 months that the sinuses cleared, the dripping ceased and the asthma that has required me to always carry a puffer had gone…yes completely gone. My gut cramps had stopped – in fact I had not noticed how bad they were until they went away.
    Asthma free for 7+ years.
    And now for the gluten…….

    1. Wow Rachel,
The same happened for me. A life time of sinus and ear infections from a very early age. I can remember going regularly to have my ears syringed and loved it, because I could then hear again. Then I contracted asthma at the age of 21. All of this disappeared when I eliminated gluten and dairy from my life. One little difference growing up my Grandma milked three cows a day keeping my family, my uncles family and her and grandad in milk. Three cows a day, milk was laid on in our home and I loved it. I must say I don’t miss it now, the thought of drinking a glass makes my tummy turn. What I do love is breathing.

      1. Hey leighstrack – love your: ‘What I do love is breathing’.
I also had have Asthma and it is gone after 2 years of attending Universal Medicine courses and changing my lifestyle- and food-choices.
I do love breathing too (yum!).

  341. I had a similar experience from listening to audio presentations by Universal Medicine. I gave up drinking alcohol 3 years ago after listening to the talks. It was such a natural step to do so, as having considered it before, it wasn’t until I heard these common sense presentations, that I became more aware of my body and made the choice to stop drinking.

  342. I pay attention to me for me, and I feel more alive because of this. A loving thing to do, with a great outcome … my body is always giving guidance.

  343. I too find that the awareness of my body is becoming sharper, and this has the added benefit of making me more aware of what is affecting my body – be that people, places, things, or decisions. I am developing a radar for what feels right, and what I need to stop allowing.

  344. I found also that giving up gluten, dairy and sugar (which I did a few years before I met Universal Medicine because I knew they were affecting my body in damaging ways), benefited my body and health. I have also found, since becoming a student of Universal Medicine and beginning to feel the love inside me that expands and heals, the more I learn to listen to myself and my body I am shown how other foods may also be damaging to me; and that some of them cause asthma like symptoms – and then I know I no longer need them. It is like a personal refining process on all levels.

  345. Thank you LM for sharing the positive changes you have experienced since hearing Serge Benhayon present. I can really relate to ‘I am taking much better care of my body and being responsible for me and my feelings’ not only do I now live with a much healthier and more vital body but I am also taking responsibility for me and my feelings rather than feeling a victim of life and blaming other people for this.

  346. Thank you LM. Since coming to Universal Medicine my awareness has also sharpened. I am now listening much more to the messages from body; my food intake has changed a lot from this as I really allow my body to be my guide with what food is supporting me and what isn’t.

  347. Thank you LM for sharing, I also had asthma and was using an inhaler for years off and on but since attending Universal Medicine workshops and presentations, and by making more supportive choices for my body and health, I no longer need the inhaler or to keep one around just in case.

  348. Thanks LM, building my awareness from attending Serge Benhayon’s presentations and workshops has completely changed my life. I have more vitality and joy, love my body and feel 10yrs younger.

  349. Hello LM, it’s beautiful to read how just one choice to attend a presentation by Serge Benhayon, changed your life and resulted in all the wonderful benefitical choices you are now making that support your wellbeing.

  350. Lovely blog, a great expression and statement of how you have felt supported and inspired by Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine. I have had a similar experience. Thank you.

  351. Hi LM, it’s very true that with a change in diet it has allowed me to also be much more in touch with how my body is feeling rather than the regular feeling of being bloated and lethargic.

  352. Thanks LM. When I used to drink milk it used to glug around in my stomach. I also used to have sinusitis, rhinitis, winter hay fever and snore horrendously. Since listening to my body more after being inspired to do so by Serge Benhayon, I no longer suffer with these ailments.

  353. That is very inspiring and empowering. It puts simply and clearly that it is what we choose that makes the difference. We can choose to buy and eat food and drink that doesn’t make us feel good or we can choose food and drink that represents what our body chooses and feels right for us. It is our choice the whole time. Thank you for sharing.

  354. LM your article makes so much sense, our bodies always tell the truth and, if we listen to it, knows what food supports us and what food harms us. My relationship with food is still very much a work in progress as I listen more and more to what it says to me. Thanks for sharing.

  355. So simply and powerfully put. In that we always have a choice, and if we listen to our bodies before our cravings, it offers huge support.
Its so common to indulge in food, drink, staying out late. But living in a way that simply lets us listen to our bodies and make choices from that – is a game-changer.

  356. It’s interesting how so often people look at food allergies or intolerance as a burden, when it could simply be a blessing because our bodies are trying to tell us not to eat something that is harming it. When I used to eat dairy, and ice cream in particular, I would get awful digestive problems and feel like a balloon was in my stomach. But I over-rode that just for the momentary numbing or comfort of it that never lasted, hence the need for more later. So it’s cool that you felt how dairy affected you early on LM, and made the loving choice to change your diet accordingly.

    1. I agree Michael. It seems crazy that we would try to continue eating something when it so obviously doesn’t feel good after eating it. My body gives me these messages all the time. Thank you for such a simple blog LM.

  357. I love the simplicity of your blog – our food choices can really be that simple if we are willing to be aware and honest about their effects on our body.

  358. I totally agree LM the truth that Serge Benhayon speaks is absolute and I have felt this in all his presentations and audios. There is a deep understanding when I hear his words that I have not felt when I listen to other presenters.

  359. It is great that you were able to feel for yourself that dairy left you feeling asthmatic and affected your lungs, and even better that you decided to cut them out. There is a lot of evidence out there to show that dairy effects the respiratory system, and yet it is still very common to continue to consume it at our bodies expense. Sharing your experience is a great inspiration for others to experiment with making this change too.

  360. Thank you for sharing LM and what you say makes so much sense.
I was always bloated and called it a ‘bread belly’. The power of choice is amazing and I had no idea that I was responsible for how I felt until I came across the teachings of Serge Benhayon.
Like you the awareness of my body has become amazingly sharp and now I cannot ignore it and I finally have what I call a true relationship with my body. For me it is the number one relationship in my life as it is with me in every moment until the day I die and my job is to ensure I take deep care of it and love it to the bone!

  361. Thank you LM. This is just what I needed today….a powerful reminder to be super aware of what I choose to put into my body knowing that it will mean a light and vital me…or not.

  362. I totally agree, if I eat something I am not supposed to eat, I feel very tired and go into daydreaming and stop focusing on myself. It is quite a vicious circle!

  363. This is so true. Building awareness to our body is life changing. It does not lie but speaks loud and clear when we are willing to listen. It is a wonderful conversation that brings awareness care and love to our daily lives.

  364. Yes I too, like so many others, have found listening to my body’s responses so beneficial and feel so much more in harmony with myself. To that I owe deep appreciation to Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine.

  365. “My awareness of my body’s functions is becoming amazingly sharp, I pay attention to me for me, and I feel more alive because of this.” A great observation LM, I have found this too that not eating gluten and dairy has allowed me to feel so much more and I have become aware of how certain foods affect how I am feeling, suddenly I can feel tired or my legs feel heavy or I am not able to walk with the same lightness that I had before, when I eat a particular food.

  366. Lovely to read how “I am taking much better care of my body”, I have found how powerful these simple changes in diet can be, if I eat something that’s too sweet or if I eat too much my body instantly feels tired and dull, and If I don’t override the feeling that I have had enough food or that something is too sweet for me then my body also feels “more alive”.

  367. I too have seen dramatic benefits to my health since making choices to look after myself, including no longer suffering from asthma, sinusitis, hay fever! Which I have to say is so awesome and completely inspired by Serge Benhayon’s simple presentations of how loving your body and listening to your body can bring about loving changes.

  368. It seems so simple when I read it in your blog – to become aware of what we are eating and how it makes us feel. And like you, I’ve experienced how that simple choice, day by day, has a profound effect on how I feel.

  369. Thank you, LM. The things you speak of are changes and awarenesses I’ve also experienced. “Feeling more alive” is truly an amazing thing! That as my body ages, and I continue to adopt changes such as you’ve mentioned, I feel increasingly ‘alive’ – and more naturally, and consistently joyful – is fundamentally something I never saw occur in those around me when I was growing up.

If, via our openness to simple truths, and indeed “absolute truth”, we can actually say to our children, that loving oneself in one’s choices can result in a deeper, richer, more consistent and joyful living of life – that’s one powerful change for the world. May many, many more have the openness to listen, and feel themselves truly ‘living’, as you have so found.

    1. I have felt this too Victoria, “feeling more alive”, I also feel more naturally, and consistently joyful, and I agree how amazing and supportive that we can say to our children, ‘that loving oneself in one’s choice can result in a deeper, richer, more consistent and joyful living of life’.

    2. A great comment Victoria – I too have felt ‘more alive’ as I am getting older, and the reason is that slowly but surely I am relearning how to look after my body, to honour it in a way that I feel better, not worse, the next day. It almost feels like I’m getting younger!

      1. Undoubtedly, there are now many people who can attest to the same ‘aliveness’, the deeper we go in truly knowing how to love ourselves, and all others. Reading this blog again today, and the comment I’d made in 2012, I realise today, more of the beauty that is offered to our children – simply in us being this way.
And that the generations are indeed changing before our eyes!

  370. I agree, when I listened to Serge’s audios for the first time, it just made sense. Since then I have met Serge and watched him closely and seen the integrity and consistency he lives with. This has inspried me to commit to taking responsibility in my life and starting to make more loving choices for myself.

  371. So much credence has been given to listening to our mind but it is the body who has to live with all our choices. Paying attention to the feedback of the body allows for more supportive and harmonious choices that can lead to better health and improved energy levels. Great that you are choosing to be aware of your body and its reactions.

    1. This so well expressed, Rachel. Our bodies are such amazing barometers of our state of being if we would only listen. Society would be in such a different, more harmonious place if we were supported and acknowledged in this when young, because that is what children do naturally.

      1. Yes, it is important that we give children the space to communicate with words what is happening for them and their bodies and honour what they are telling us. Children are aware of what is happening in their bodies but if they are not encouraged to acknowledge it or to regard it, then they quickly learn their bodies are of no value, they are of no value and so begins the same cycle with the next generation living in disregard ignoring the often loud messages the body is communicating.

  372. Hi LM, thank you for this post, I love what you say “My awareness of my body’s functions is becoming amazingly sharp” and the potential that we all have to deepen our own awareness with our bodies, and how this can gently guide our daily living choices.

  373. Thanks for your simple message LM – building awareness is what has changed my life too.

    1. Zoe, that’s the same for me as I have deepened my awareness and continue to build on it, it has really changed my life.

  374. Thank you LM, I also have felt the absolute you talk about when I hear Serge present – it is like an inner voice says, “Yes I already know this, Serge has just defined it into a clear expression for all to hear”.
