Our Guide to Creation

Life Is Like A Box of Chocolates – A Buffet of Choices

Perhaps for many, one of the most memorable lines in Forest Gump was when the lead character said, “Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get.” If we park aside the fact that the saying suggests we are not in charge of our own choices, therefore “you never know what you’re gonna get” – which of course is not true – what we are left with at this stage is a proposition that no matter which chocolate is picked, we still end up with chocolate, just a different kind.

One may draw a praline, a truffle, a caramel delight or a coconut nougat, however, is it not still a chocolate, still made up of cocoa, sugar, often milk, and then just a varying flavour to differentiate it from the pieces that lay beside it?

Enlarging this and taking it into life can support us to see what is truly occurring in our day to day lives on a micro scale, and during our lifespan on a macro scale. On this planet of ours we have so many options and choices to pick from, what with work and studies, family and friends, hobbies and interests, music and books, TV shows and films, foods and drinks, cars and bikes, phones and computers, where we live, all the way down to colour of bedsheets, material of our desks and the frame for our favourite mantelpiece picture – to name but a few.

When one considers all the different options within these categories and then all the possible combinations between them, there need be no mathematician to declare that the sum is far vaster than what can be comprehended.

… Sounds like a big box of chocolates!

So, and for all intents and purposes, we have a plentiful buffet of choices in life to oblige and cater to, but what if that entire smorgasbord is all from one and the same supplier… the stockist that never ceases to provide and loves nothing more than keeping us as being less than who we are, i.e. in the blissful ignorance of deceiving ourselves to be no more than mere physical human beings and only recognising what our five physical senses perceive whilst negating so much more beyond the physical realm that the body feels and knows.

If Everything is Energy, then – Energy must Matter

In the world of mathematics, it is common to use assumptions to formulate a proof of method or formula, so, for a moment, the reader is asked to consider and perhaps even assume, that there is more to life than what we can see.

If a little introductory proof is needed, Einstein did lay the formula e = mc² before us, and in doing so showed the world that everything indeed is made up of energy. The “e” itself standing for ‘energy,’ the “m” standing for ‘mass,’ which when broken down into its subatomic levels is found to be made up of what are known as ‘quarks.’ These quarks are not something that we can see and observe but something that behaves in a particular manner, hence, the “m” too ultimately stands for ‘energy,’ specifically in movement. The “c” stands for the speed of light, which when broken down mathematically means the speed of particles – again, ultimately ‘energy.’

After this small digression, where do we stand? At the point of consideration that everything is energy.

The word every-thing here should not be taken lightly.

When observing the world and our society within it – be that on the news, in the paper, talking to a colleague or watching events first hand occur before us – we tend to predominantly focus on what our eyes can see, and our ears can hear. We look at someone driving a car and notice the speed perhaps, the driving style, the noise of the engine etc. We look at someone committing a crime and see a physical body carrying out a physical act that has physical consequences. Even to the smallest example of when we watch someone making a cup of tea and we see hot liquid being poured into a solid cup and can then smell the leaves diffusing in the tea bag.

With our newfound understanding of ‘everything is energy,’ we could say that behind each of the above examples there is actually much more at play than the mundaneness (or not so in the case of a crime scene) of the physical behaviour.

But what exactly does it mean to say that there is energy behind these actions – in fact behind Every action?

Ageless Wisdom Philosopher Serge Benhayon… on Energy

To answer this question, let’s introduce a quote by a sagacious philosopher and modern-day presenter of the Ageless Wisdom, Serge Benhayon, who expanded and in that complemented Einstein’s e = mc² and said; “Everything is energy, and therefore, everything is because of energy” [Serge Benhayon, 1999] (1). Let us analyse this for a moment.

What Serge has touched upon here is that if indeed everything is first and foremost energy, which it is, then the energy exists way before the physical action – or outplay that we observe with our eyes – takes place. Hence, and consequently, everything we then see and experience in physicality actually has energetic roots, which determine what occurs before, during and after it plays out.

This offers many revelations on our living ways as presented by Serge Benhayon such as: nothing is an accident, everything matters and nothing is nothing; that we are responsible first and foremost for the energetic root we draw our action from rather than what the action looks or sounds like; and that we currently live in the consciousness of a 3-dimensional world which is actually multi-dimensional, yet we remain blissfully ignorant to that fact.

Serge Benhayon | Founder of Universal Medicine

That said, whilst these revelations offer us permission to understand and be aware of these facts, it cannot be claimed that we are completely ignorant to the fact that in regard to life there is, to quote the common phrase, “more to it than meets the eye.” These revelations offered by a combination of what Einstein and Serge have shared allow us to see beyond the three dimensions we have become so comfortable with and have made a gospel out of using such a contracted and limited version of life.

There are plenty of examples where we notice and will even speak about the fact that we can feel and sense what is beyond physical occurrence. Here a few:

  • As a young girl when you can feel that a guy is sleazy when he is coming onto you. How do you know this? Does the quality of sleaze look a certain way? OR is it that you can sense the quality of energy behind the person’s intentions and movements?
  • It is not uncommon for children to sense something is not right with their parents, whether they are just feeling low or might have recently had an argument. They are very perceptive and astute in noticing the shift, even though the parents may be masters of hiding it and putting on a happy face and tone of voice for the children. How come this is possible? Do children bug (microphone up) the house so they can listen in? OR are they so energetically astute that they can sense the slightest change in the energy of the parent despite the physical pretense?
  • It can probably be safely said that we have all been in a situation – be it in a dark alley late at night or even in our own living room or as children during the night – when we could sense someone’s disturbing presence; or coming to work and instantly getting a sense of the office atmosphere and moods that fill the space, even before speaking to anyone. How do we pick this up? Do we really just have gut feelings OR are we far more masterful at this energy ‘thing’ than we let on?

Systematic Evolution OR Deliberate Creation

So perhaps here is a good place to recap what has been presented thus far:

  • We have further established that if everything is energy, then inevitably everything is because of energy, owing to a universal law as presented by Serge Benhayon – a man who is an authentic scientist not by educational degree, but by God’s divine decree.
  • We then interpolated that, if everything is because of energy, there is an energetic root that each and every physical action comes from.
  • And finally, we saw that we are no strangers to this fact with the examples of everyday situations where we utilise our awareness of energy in life.

Back to Gump’s box of chocolates mentioned at the start of this piece, and its relevance to life.

We have a box of chocolates and each is different, yet, essentially all are the same – a combination of comfort and the stimulating substance we have come to term, chocolate. So, what if the many actions, movements and choices we have and make in life are also just varying ‘flavours’ of the very same energetic root?

There is much in this world that we have created to suit our multitude of lifestyles where we have given ourselves over to our wants and desires, and in that we have become arrogant, as well as ignorant of the awareness of what would / would not actually serve us as a society, and from this self-obsessed stance we have created a world overflowing with all our varying flavours of chocolates where we can indulge at a moment’s notice.

We get very excited about the ‘box’ as we become so enticed and seduced by the multitude of flavours it offers. We do not pay attention to the limits of its walls, nor how they contain, contract and limit the expression of who we are. In other words, we luxuriate in our own creation rather than seek and embrace what has been on offer since time immemorial in inexhaustible quantities from the space we call the Universe.

As imbecilic as it may sound (and that it surely is), we have created a society where we can get non-stop chocolate for our entire existence.

It should be noted here that it is not only the delusions of grandeur that come with money, fame, fortune etc. that give us the indulgence we so desperately seek, it is also the rock bottom of clinical depression, drug addiction and everything in-between that we thrive and find relief in – as strange as that is from a mere human perspective whereby we would assume that avoiding any suffering would be the logical and sought-after choice. Said simply: the chocolate you may despise is another’s favourite.

The word ‘creation’ has been emphasised specifically in the last two paragraphs as it is a necessary and sobering point to make. If all our actions and movements come from a quality of energy first and we are the ones who are responsible for determining that, then surely we are responsible, and therefore accountable for the life we then end up walking. Said in much simpler terms by Serge Benhayon – “We are the creators of all that we experience” (2).

The Book of Human Life – The Perfect Guide to Creation

We have indeed each written our own book of human life – Our Guide to Creation. And they are perfect. Or as perfect as it gets. Collectively we have even created a Creation Encyclopaedia, a vast ocean of tips, props and how-to’s to keep ourselves circulating in this energetically lesser way of being, nonetheless, the one we are attracted to like flies to faeces.

The word perfect is here not used to promote or glorify the guide to creation – far from it, for the guide that we have created is a major contaminator of the space this Universe of ours holds (talking of Global warming!) – but rather the purpose is to illuminate the fact that we are the very masters of what we have created, the engineers of a do-it-yourself kind of method for every conceivable situation we encounter within creation to keep us immersed in the spinning (vicious, too) cycle of the very same creation. Indeed, we are that chef who has cooked up the overly sour inedible soup and now has to eat it.

The question begs – Why? Why have we created this sphere of life where we are miserable, happy, rich, poor, lonely or popular (all terms very relative and used loosely), yet all the while avoiding the fact that naturally we are much, much grander and far wiser?

When we look at all we have touched on so far, the only possible answer that remains feasible is arrogance filled – “Because we can.” We have created all our chocolates that we can stuff ourselves with as much as we like… to all appearances without any repercussions. And we enjoy the ‘chocolates’ twice over, not only because of the comfort they provide but also because we are the chocolatier!

We had the creating hand in something we find delicious. Is there anything more exciting than creating something yourself? Something you can pride your existence on? Something you can champion as ‘advancing’ and ‘benefitting’ society? We have put ourselves in a box and filled it with treats that gratify our hunger, and this not only distracts us from feeling and seeing the everything we have cut ourselves off from, this also feeds the denial that keeps the whole charade going in its perpetual circular motion.

There’s More to Life than Being a Human

And most detrimental of all, our creations and the guide we use to navigate our way around this involutionary trajectory keeps us well away from ever seeing and realising the full scope of multidimensionality we originate from.

But this comes with a price – an eternal unsettlement – as deep down we cannot escape the knowing that we have left behind the fullness of who we are and are now living as just a mere fragment of that glory, hence the incessant need to make up for the loss by creating a substitute we heavily invest in to numb the unbearable pain and thereby taking pride in our ‘power of creation,’ ignoring the fact that ‘our creation’ is flawed and corrupt and can never be of the pristine universal harmony and perfection that makes the multidimensionality we live in.

Science on its own can tell us a lot… certainly not everything, but a lot. And science has most definitely shown us that we are a great deal grander than the 3-dimensional human existence we have come to create and champion.

First and foremost, at a subatomic (really small) level we are made up of particles. These particles make up the protons and neutrons that are the foundation of the atom and therefore our very existence in this plane of life. To give an example of the proportion of an atom’s make-up, if the nucleus (the very centre) of the atom was enlarged to be the size of a marble, the electrons would be at the perimeter a football field away – over 100 metres!

That gives a LOT of empty space in the middle.

So when we shrink that back down and arrange all these atoms to resemble a human being, we can see that we are mostly made up of space, and very few parts mass. What this means on an even more technical level is that as a ‘solid’ human being, we actually don’t interact with anything on a physical level. The fact that there is so much space (filled with energy) between the nucleus and the outer electrons means that if we are sitting on a chair for example, we are actually not touching it but are hovering above it ever so slightly – the only thing keeping us from merging with the chair being the magnetic repulsion from the electrons in each object/person, yet, we feel the pressure and texture of the chair against our body. If there was ever proof needed that we exchange and interchange with each other and with objects on an energetic level, then here it lays just before you.

On top of the vast amount of space within us, it is also worth touching on the particles that fundamentally make up the very little relative mass we contain.

Particles are not stagnant. They are constantly moving, vibrating, interchanging and exchanging. On a cellular level the human body entirely replaces itself every 7 years, so on a particle level we could confidently say that the entire human body completely replaces itself far quicker than this if we consider that every time we breathe in and out, let alone when we touch objects, swim, walk, run, etc., we are actually taking in and releasing particles.

So with all that, which may be a reminder or refresher for some or completely new knowledge to others, we can see that we live in a world of energy, particles and the physical realm of creation, which we have designed to enthral and arrogantly comfort us in our existence.

An interesting point to ponder at this moment: we can identify ourselves by name and behaviour and individualise ourselves, but in truth and in essence, we are largely made up of space, and this space does not have colour, creed or religion to differentiate itself from another bit of space, and the little mass we can claim we have is changing so frequently that we do not get a chance to retain any, and certainly could not identify ourselves with a certain set of particles.

What Are We & Where Do We Come From?

So, what actually are we? Vehicles of space and energy, which are making life a whole lot denser than it truly is.

These vehicles of space, which are no different to the stars in the night sky, are made from the same space and particles they are, just arranged differently.

In a nutshell, where do we come from?
The Universe.

And now we come back to planet Earth, where we human beings, who are no different to the grandness of the stars, live lives filled with human activities, human interactions, human problems and human dramas. It takes no Sherlock Holmes or Poirot to deduce that something here in this simple mathematical equation is just not right.

War, destruction, death, corruption, murder, rape, torture, suicide, female genital mutilation, starvation, drug abuse, caffeine reliance, sugar addiction, global obesity, bulimia, cancer, diabetes, dementia, mental health disorders, defamation, hate, bitterness, resentment, jealousy, rage, frustration, dishonesty, lack of self-worth, self-flagellation, low confidence and arrogant compensation just to name a few, all run rampant in our sphere of life and are an inescapable part of the selection in our chocolate box… And that – that is the existence we wish to champion?

Call it naïve or utopian if you wish, but looking up at the stars, we have a divine existence constantly reflecting to us where we originate from, what we are capable of and what one day, we shall return to.

So dear readers, the time is upon us. Let us all put down our calamitous guides to creation. Let us relinquish ourselves of all our tried and tested, tired methods of navigating ourselves through life merely as humans. It is time for us to leave behind the box altogether. Let’s allow the stars to guide us onward and upward and let us give permission to our particles to show us the way.

Life is rich beyond measure when we don’t play mere human.

  1. It is a wise man or woman, who always bears this in their awareness, ‘ if indeed everything is first and foremost energy, which it is, then the energy exists way before the physical action – or outplay that we observe with our eyes – takes place. Hence, and consequently, everything we then see and experience in physicality actually has energetic roots, which determine what occurs before, during and after it plays out.’

  2. I was talking to a friend recently about the violence in the USA and they said but your choosing the same energy only your flavour is different. Which is exactly what you are referring to in your blog Michael
‘One may draw a praline, a truffle, a caramel delight or a coconut nougat, however, is it not still a chocolate, still made up of cocoa, sugar, often milk, and then just a varying flavour to differentiate it from the pieces that lay beside it? ‘
And is this how we are continually fooled? We think we think and I think I’m smart but I’m not smart at all just being used by an energy that is playing with me. There’s a payoff happening, I think I think and while that thought is given to me the energy that gives me the thought is using my natural energy somewhere else entirely.

  3. We have collectively made life into a box of chocolates where we think we are making different choices but are just choosing a different flavor of the same chocolate. This is the huge lie we have perpetrated for ourselves so that we stay imprisoned in the lie we have made. We know exactly the game we are playing because we made the game and the rules. There is a part of us that just doesn’t care because it knows it is immortal and therefore can play as many games as it likes while it resides in a human body, which it can trash in an instant that we then call suicide.

  4. We may think we can make many different choices but there is the choice to be love or not.

  5. It wasn’t until I met Serge Benhayon and took part in the workshops and presentations on offer that I realised I had been sleep walking through life. I had looked on life purely from the physicality of it my senses were dulled to anything else, this I believe is the blissful ignorance that I shook myself out of.
We are always presented with choices mine was to stay asleep or wake up to the fact that there is much more to life than we care to admit or even realise. For me coming across the presentation and workshops of Serge Benhayon were the best things to happen to me as I have woken myself up from the self imposed stupor I had been living in. I can say from my experience that living in a stupor and being aware of life are worlds apart.

  6. When we make a decision, it becomes a branch; left, right, up, down, true or false. How long does it take to become a massive tree with all of these branches and what shape has it taken?

    1. I like the analogy you make Steve to take this topic deeper when we make the choice of what energy we are going to align to, if we chose the negative energy it may seemingly give us what we are seeking comfort but that negative energy also uses us in a way that we have no control over. What if that negative energy then controls our bodies so that it can do whatever it likes as the pay back. The pay back can be abuse towards us or another, rape, murder, what then?

  7. “Life is rich beyond measure when we don’t play mere human.” Wise words Michael. Your blog is a wake up call for us all, when we stop playing mere human and open our eyes to the fact that there is so much more to life than the spoils of creation that we have willingly accepted as being true without questioning its validity, life offers a different dimension and expands our horizons more than we could ever think possible and as you say, life becomes rich beyond measure.

    1. I agree with you Alison when we just look beneath the surface ripples of life there is a huge richness to be felt. How amazing is it that I can feel someone’s jealousy and not be affected by it but understand by reading the energy that they are in that really they are upset with themselves that they have not made the choices I have made and can feel the unpleasantness of what this feels like in their bodies. We are feeling energy and each other all the time we cannot stop this process we can only dull, deny or check-out from feeling everything all of the time. If we were to check-in we would know everything that is going on around us it is given to us that why there is a richness to life that we are ignoring to our disadvantage.

  8. I do not want to be a wilful fool anymore. I want to see things as they truly are – both the magic and the monstrous – and therefore have an honest, aware and responsible relationship with life.

    1. Matilda I feel we have been so fooled and because of this we have then willfully deceived ourselves by making ourselves less and not looking beyond being human. And anyone who dares suggest we are more than human is ridiculed and ostracized from our current society because no one wants to blow the lid on the lies we have all fallen for.

  9. Michael, your words speak powerfully to me this morning. To be shown the sludge we’re living in is of our own making, awakens one to be more honest with self, to step out of the box completely and not desire chocolate at all isn’t as simple as it appears and something I’ve yet to master.

  10. Essentially there is only one choice – who we are / not who we are or love and not love. Afterwards, there are lots of alternatives to express that one choice but they are of lesser importance.

    1. Yes exactly Christoph, and we have championed the number of alternative ways it can play out once the choice to be not who we are is made.

  11. The world we have created is very good at giving us loads of choices, often making a big song and dance and hooking ploys manoevering to get maximum attention. And we tend to be more than happy to play the game and believe the more variety and flavours the better. After all the name of the game is vying for individuality.
And all along we ignore the fact that the one and only choice has ever been whether we live according to the impulse of our Soul, or the myriad of ways that creates a world contra to that.

    1. This keeps it simple, ‘the one and only choice has ever been whether we live according to the impulse of our Soul’.

  12. At a time when there is so much corruption going on, it is interesting to see how much “creation” is working to stop people connecting with and having access to truth. We say we are in a modern world, but that world does not want the truth.

    1. This is so true David the collective energy at the moment seems to be in full resistance to the truth, it is busy spinning more lies to cover up the lies they have already spun. At some point the lies will be exposed and we can see this happening within politics, religion and science to name but a few.

  13. The ancient wisdom offers us our guide to creation and how to get out of it and live within the oneness of God we are part of, our essence and the understanding of the fact the everything is energy first and there is so much more than what our eyes can see going on. A beautiful sharing that supports us all to see the truth.

  14. Settling for what we have, even if it is the best, is what will keep us enclosed in this creation of ours.

  15. We even have the idiom ‘best of a bad lot’, why are we so good at settling for what is far less glorious than the truth of what we are and what we absolutely deserve?

  16. What an amazing blog Michael, thank you, thank you, thank you. There is so much for one to consider, actually to feel before reaching for that box of chocolates.

  17. Ah this is beautiful Michael, if ever there was doubt of who we are just come back to this: ‘we can identify ourselves by name and behaviour and individualise ourselves, but in truth and in essence, we are largely made up of space, and this space does not have colour, creed or religion to differentiate itself from another bit of space, and the little mass we can claim we have is changing so frequently that we do not get a chance to retain any, and certainly could not identify ourselves with a certain set of particles.’

  18. Everything we are physically, in our movements and make up, is all energy; every one is part of energy and so we are all part of a whole. And not in isolation, even as I tap though on my phone on my sofa, in my lounge, I am still part of someone’s life on the other side of the planet as much as my neighbour’s. This is a universal law that is incontrovertible.

  19. Thanks to Universal Medicine, Serge and Natalie Benhayon, I am becoming ever more aware of the way we live in this world of Creation, how we are used and willingly submit ourselves to being used to perpetuate the falsehood – all that serves to veil the true light that we are innately from and are offered each moment to reconnect to.

  20. At the moment the sense of love that I can tangibly feel in and around my body is way too strong to let me go for the chocolate of this world.

  21. Imagine that all the time we become over identified with the roles we have in life, it was a creation of ours for the purpose of seeking recognition, approval and acceptance. All because we separated from the love that we are.

  22. When we understand that there is more to life than being human everything begins to make sense and the opportunity to fully embrace our multidimensality opens up before our eyes from within.

  23. We can either symbolically (and in actuality too) choose chocolate and then there are lots of flavours which initially taste great if we ignore the effect on our body or choose no chocolate, something that is initially less comfortable but feels better and better as time goes on.

  24. We can use the drama and emotions of life to keep us distracted from the quality of being that we are living.

  25. Every thing is energy and this universal law means that we can only be multi dimensional beings, as my fingers tap the phone, every thing I have chosen is in my fingertips…the conversation, thoughts, movements…energy first. I have no doubt about this and so…with that I am learning to be more responsible in life. The ripples of our choices have an impact, our choices will determine the quality of the impact. Love or not love…

    1. Children are very aware of far more than the physical life, they can feel energy at play, ‘are they so energetically astute that they can sense the slightest change in the energy of the parent despite the physical pretense?’

  26. We are all reading and feeling energy all the time. We can’t deny that we can feel someone before they speak, get a sense of where people are at- and observe much just by looking at how someone moves.

  27. So many different flavours and yet we all end up in the same place feeling dissatisfied.,.and no wonder we lie to ourselves with every mouthful we consume concerning this murky mix we have made called our created life. How often do we feel we live true to ourselves…if the answer sometimes, that in itself tells us so much…what is happening the rest of the time?

    1. So true that “So many different flavours and yet we all end up in the same place feeling dissatisfied”. At some point we need to stop and accept the fact that this elusive satisfaction is never going to come from increasing the range of flavours or upping the level of our consumption.

  28. Makes sense why so many of us go to the shops and buy the same old things (even though we say to ourselves today’s the day we are turning over a new leaf). We are used to choosing the same energy in a very familiar sense.

  29. ‘energy exists way before the physical action – or outplay that we observe with our eyes – takes place.’ When we bring this teaching as our perspective on life, life becomes uncomplicated and not at all mysterious.

  30. I am very up for weeding out my attachments to creation. I have always really enjoyed my relationship with the stars – the so much more there is than human existence – and know I hold back my understanding and living of this by being invested in and limiting myself to human experience.

    1. The real key is to bring that relationship with the stars into life rather than keep them separate. And that works both ways: glamourising the stars and ignoring the detail of human life or focussing totally on the physical and being blind to what the universe offers us.

  31. I know this eternal unsettlement that the box of chocolates brings – which one to choose, which order, which one do I save till last, when I finish it when will there be more? how will I get another box? etc….. When I look up from the box, and feel the sun, the sky, the stars, the universe, I am reminded that there is more and I feel more settled.

    1. ‘When I look up from the box, and feel the sun, the sky, the stars, the universe, I am reminded that there is more and I feel more settled’ they bring a beautiful perspective yet not through what is seen, but what our bodies are reminded of.

  32. If we did open up to the fact that energy is the most important factor in every single element we experience in life, and bothered to develop our ability to discern what energy every aspect of our life impacts us with, we would realise that we have a far more limited choice than we think we do.

    1. And how important that choice is, ‘If all our actions and movements come from a quality of energy first and we are the ones who are responsible for determining that, then surely we are responsible, and therefore accountable for the life we then end up walking.’

  33. There is a natural order and flow in nature and life which corresponds to precise mathematical patterns and yet we as humans we seek to change it or manipulate life from its profound simplicity and harmony.

  34. ‘There are more ways than one to skin a cat’ came to mind, meaning that if we want to use creation then we will find any one of the gazillion solutions it will offer up. Yet they will be just that, a solution, not and answer by the art and science of the universe.

  35. ‘It is time for us to leave behind the box altogether. Let’s allow the stars to guide us onward and upward and let us give permission to our particles to show us the way.; Love this!

  36. We are the players and the pawns all in one, enjoying the taste of both until we are corrected and shown that the game is just that…. a game.

  37. ‘we are mostly made up of space, and very few parts mass’. This is a phenomenal point that asks us to relook at ourselves and our relationships.

  38. The analogy of food here is an apt one for what we see is not what we get. Just as our eyes can feast on a beautiful cake or platter of food our body will have to deal with what it really is made up from. So to with our choices in life, they may fit a picture but our body will be the one dealing with the quality of energy it originated (is made up) from.

  39. A smorgasbord so tempting and as far as our eyes can see makes us forget to ask the question if we want to eat in the first place. Only when we start to realise there is more than just the smorgasbord we will first start to pick more consciously until such time that we are no longer enticed by it at all.

      1. I love that Chris ‘an organic sat nav’ as it shows how complete and simple that makes life. There is not much for us to do but develop our awareness of the sat nav. Oh well and then not stubbornly choose a different direction anyway of course 🙂

  40. Creation like chocolate is no solution to the constant unrest most of us have. Living true to who we are is the only thing that brings settlement.

  41. ‘If Everything is Energy, then – Energy must Matter’. I feel like putting a few exclamation marks at the end of this sentence because it’s not something that’s generally paid any attention when it is everything. Are we really so content with scoffing the chocolates we want and caring for nothing more?

  42. No matter how brilliant a mind may be, it is always worth communicating the universe as it is, in simple and easy to understand ways, so that no person is left behind. Because the universe and its laws do not belong to those who understand it or can write about, we are all a part of it because we live in it and so it is a part of us.

  43. It seems in the world today we have more choices than ever in every aspect of life in our so called modern developed societies but it is also clear that we are not any happier or contented as a result, so something else must be going on here for sure.

    1. I agree Alexandre that we need to look at the choices we are making and look deeper into the why are we making them what are we getting out of any situation.

  44. If we don’t consider the quality we feel in anything and everything in life, we can easily be seduced by the great look, description, justification and all the boxes ticked, which only ever tells us about the packaging.

  45. Beautiful Michael a true way of living for us all shared here with a knowing and understanding of the multidimensionality we come from and are returning to as who we truly are.

  46. ‘Life is rich beyond measure when we don’t play mere human.’ and that is the reason why we are all so unhappy here on Planet Earth, we are playing dumb, pretending we are just human and completely ignoring our multidimensionality. We are so much more than mere humans and even the tiniest glimpse of that is enough for us to either run away and hide, numb out, or to celebrate and allow more of it out.

  47. We love to bake the cake, put anything and everything into it, and then eat it. But we eat so much we get sick yet we carry on thinking we love it, continuously baking and eating; changing the ingredients at our whim enjoying the choice of what to add or subtract. I love that the stars remind us that we’re more than this cake mix mess.

    1. The stars reflect our glory, ‘looking up at the stars, we have a divine existence constantly reflecting to us where we originate from, what we are capable of and what one day, we shall return to.’

  48. I agree ..and then of course the question of why and how are we making such a choices?

  49. As everything is energy so, too, we are energy. Connect to and know the energy we are choosing to allow in and through our body and we have true choice and freedom.

  50. I wonder if that is why we keep ourselves in blissful ignorance that we are so much more that our five physical senses. Is there a part of us that does know but is terrified of the enormity of who we truly are and what it has done by separating from its greater whole? The greater part of humanity lives a lie and we continue to add to this lie because to admit we have got it wrong is devastating to that part of us that separated from the whole in the first place.

    1. Great questions. There is a wonderful humility in admitting we got it wrong. Taking a wrong turn and driving or walking a long way off course, continuing in the hope that it’ll come good but having to admit the only way back is to turn around often really gets to me. I wonder if this is because I can feel the devastation of knowing I have gone in the wrong direction and knowing it served no purpose and really having to accept that is key to never being lulled by that route again.

  51. Michael, this an amazing article. What you are sharing makes sense and makes me realise that the way we commonly choose to live – with drama and issues and living less than our potential – is not our true way.

  52. The truth of creation revealed for us all to see clearly the understanding of energy at play and the vastness of who we really are in our multidimensionality instead of playing the mere human at the mercy of the very rigid and narrow mindedness we choose. “looking up at the stars, we have a divine existence constantly reflecting to us where we originate from, what we are capable of and what one day, we shall return to.”

  53. That is quite a mind-blowing thing to consider that for most of humanity, no matter what we think is a unique choice, a different decision or a creative idea, that they are all the same at their source.

      1. And natural therefore then to know that our choices are tailor made, to the detail, by either the human 3D creative source, or multi dimensional awareness.

  54. “But this comes with a price – an eternal unsettlement – as deep down we cannot escape the knowing that we have left behind the fullness of who we are and are now living as just a mere fragment of that glory” It takes a great amount of humility to write this sentence, but that is what we do on a daily basis, just living a fraction of who we are and wondering why nothing in this plane of life ever truly satisfies us.

    1. Looking at it from this level of clarity, it seems crazy that we choose to express a fraction of the who we are, and when we feel the pain of such a reduction of the glory that is our true expression, we start applying all sorts of strategies to dull the ache, distract ourself and most of all blame other people and external situations for the deep discontent we feel. But so true living as this, however hard we try, we cannot escape the eternal unsettlement.

  55. “There’s More to Life than Being a Human” – I have always felt this to be the truth – we are so much more than we are told we are.

  56. So true, Michael – ‘we luxuriate in our own creation rather than seek and embrace what has been on offer since time immemorial’. We think we are getting away with it as well, however our rates of illness and disease and rise in mental health reveal that living against our true nature is not serving us.

    1. Exactly its that point, that we think we get away with so many things but at the same time we are shown through how sick we get the extent of the level of abuse that we live by.

  57. If we could see the source of energy and intention which goes into creating chocolate we would not be so ready to put it into our mouths despite the comfort it may offer.

    1. Even if we opened up to feeling it, let alone seeing it, we’d be a far sight more aware of what we are actually ‘eating’.

  58. ‘Because we can’ – totally. And it’s quite funny how we like to play a role of a rather compromised version of god and try proving that very point, yet staunchly refuse to accept that we are actually god and act in the way we are designed to. It’s like, stop – all of that, then we would find that we are already much much more grander and more magnificent than we had ever imagined and wanted to prove ourselves to be, and it might actually be very easily done with a blink of an eye.

  59. When we engage in the energetic awareness of life everything changes. We can begin to see the lies that we have been living and the Grand Love that truly we are, and are from.

  60. I can’t deny that everything can be felt – and that energy is everything. We just have to take everyday examples to substantiate this fact -but the next choice is always how much do I love with this knowing in my every movement.

    1. Yep HM, it’s about the step that’s there to be taken – do we move with it or make our own decision about what’s best.

    1. Indeed Golnaz, I know I love choice but what if the choice was not needed when we focused on quality first. It would change the way we approach life, focusing on what is the greatest quality I could choose in that moment.

  61. Take your pick! So many flavours to choose from in order to not feel or acknowledge that deep down inside there is a feeling of unease that brews in us all.

  62. Amazing Michael and very powerful to read. Life has never made sense to me because there is so much disharmony, fighting, corruption, etc, and I’ve always felt we are out of place here as we don’t even exhibit the same harmony as nature. The disharmonious lives of human beings simply don’t fit in with the natural way of order, harmony and interdependence we see in nature. As a result we need to ask questions and find out why, enquire about the true foundation of human life and how we have veered away from the natural order and harmony. Thank you Michael for your contribution to this.

  63. Not to forget that we are not just the consumers of the buffet but also its creators – both bringing some ambiguous satisfaction we often will only renounce when the painful downside gets the upper hand.

  64. The grandness of our origins can never be altered no matter how much we attempt to delay or distract ourselves from it.

  65. I was considering this point “The question begs – Why? Why have we created this sphere of life where we are miserable, happy, rich, poor, lonely or popular (all terms very relative and used loosely), yet all the while avoiding the fact that naturally, we are much, much grander and far wiser?” and then looked at my life and realise its the struggle that I go through that I often celebrate coming through instead of not needing to go through the struggle to appreciate my deepening connection with God and life.

    1. So, so true…take a look at any high street and the plethora of food shops, restaurants, cafes and chocolatiers. It’s the chocolatiers and specialist bakeries (fancy cakes) that amaze me the most; these shops hardly even existed five years ago and now they seem to be everywhere.

  66. Creation Energy and who we all really are is a fascinating and an essential understanding needed in life as it makes sense of everything and the eternal unsettlement we keep ourselves in while through the simplicity of surrendering and listening to our bodies we have our guide and way back home and the joy and love we are as multidimensional beings from heaven.

  67. Looking back I can say I don’t like the way certain things turned out, but in all of that I also have to say now that it was my choice, the creation I wanted.

  68. ‘Because we can’ is a very interesting point and phrase which rings so truly. Even though we may know something may not be helpful or beneficial we may choose it purely because we can rather than fully feeling the effects it will have on us and others. The more we see that each choice affects the next choice the more we will be more conscious and deliberate in the choices we are making knowing the knock on effect and not seeing each choice in isolation rather and amalgamation of the whole.

  69. We have to appreciate that energy is constantly at play – and that we can always sense so much more than we see on the surface. When we appreciate this we can live in a hugely expanded way.

    1. Very and well said, there is so much more going on than purely what our eyes see or our ears hear. The more we embrace this the more the world of energy comes alive and no longer are we blinded to the reality of the unseen world.

  70. If we knew we were stepping into a theme park for our spirit to play in when we are born, it would make such a difference to what we are willing to see in life and what we accept as reality. There are so many glittering choices but all are designed to keep us distracted, chasing a dream and away from our inner stillness.

  71. Ah yes, ‘let us give permission to our particles to show us the way.’ I love the way this really does show us we need not hold a tight control on life and that our bodies can guide us when we listen to it.

  72. Life is ‘A Buffet of Choices’ – we are offered and tempted with choices of every liking 24/7 to keep being distracted from realizing and choosing the one thing we crave most that is not placed at the disposal at the buffet: being our original self in full.

    1. But how many times do we get metaphorical indigestion before we realise that the buffet is not the answer?

      1. 😉 As often as we need the bloating and ‘cramps’ before we are willing to no longer suffer. Learning it the painful way is quite often the only way we seem to choose.

  73. There are many ways to degrade and diminish ourselves, and often they are disguised as “fun” or “kicking back”, for example like a night out getting drunk.

  74. I might be on my own here but I have found that the quality of energy mentioned in the article is actually determined a lot by how I move, down to the detail of how conscious I am opening a door or walking to the bathroom.

    1. No not on your own Michael, I’m with you on that experience too, and find that these details are key.

    2. Being present with ourselves is very responsible, allowing us to choose the quality of energy in each moment and how that expresses through our movements. When we are not aware of or with ourselves such as skipping ahead to future moments, we lose our connection and the quality of our energetic presence. As with everything in creation, we enjoy the complexity rather than surrendering to something so simple like being present and the way we move. That’s where the Ageless Wisdom comes in, simplicity and practicality.

  75. When we begin to study the quality of energies that impulse our third dimensional realm, so many of the inexplicable troubles that run rife in our world will suddenly make complete and absolute sense.

  76. Yes indeed, there is much more to life than meets the eye. If we limit our awareness to our five senses we miss out on receiving endless communication from the constant evolving field of energy we inescapably live within.

  77. What I’m finding is the more we are able to look through creation, to see the box of chocolates is not all its cracked up to be then we can start to embrace choices that will eventually end our addiction to it and provide the real purpose of life, not to better creation but to live the joy we felt as kids.

  78. There is so much in this blog, Michael, for us to reflect on. The concept of space is a favourite of mine. The more I deepen in connection with my soul, the stronger a sense I get of the grandness every one of us is a part of, and in this space everything can be felt and known.

  79. ‘let us give permission to our particles to show us the way.’ Love this Michael. Allowing the innate wisdom of my body to lead the way has been the most ongoing, powerful learning experience for me.

  80. An awesome and powerful blog with so much in it… and a great introduction to the unseen world of energy and how we are the creators of everything that happens in our lives. We all have played the part of being ‘merely human’, being arrogant, and ignorant and loving our box of chocolates with all its many flavours of distraction, comfort, entertainments and illusions to keep us playing less than who we truly are. But as the author suggests, it is time to let go of our ‘boxes of comfort’, and let our bodies and yes our particles show us the way home, for indeed, ‘Life is rich beyond measure when we don’t play mere human’.

  81. Perhaps we know exactly what we are going to get and still do it as we want the consequences and the experience?

  82. I always knew that chocolate meant more than meets the eye… and stomach and taste buds!

  83. It is always good, in my view, to bring things back to basics of maths, because in the simple equations life is where I can see exactly what does and what does not make sense.

  84. The only reason that we feel we need chocolate is because we have left behind our grandness. The chocolate is not really able to obscure this separation anyway and that’s why we keep trying different kind of chocolates or eating more than one at the time. Nothing can fulfill us though other than returning to who we truly are.

  85. “but what if that entire smorgasbord is all from one and the same supplier…” and that is the part we need to understand, that even though life looks so diverse and has so much to ‘offer’ it is all the same and does not bring us any true change until we change the energy we are in, in other words, until we make decency and respect our very first virtues to then be able to bring more love into our lives.

    1. Spot on Esther, nothing changes until we change the energy we are in or choosing. When we make life all about self, needing to achieve with the need to be successful and recognised, nothing changes because there is no evolution in creating life all about self. When we take responsibility for our past choices, and choose to self-love and self-nurture, we begin to understand life and see the bigger picture, that we are all here to work together to evolve each other to become more of who we truly are – this is how we change the energy.

  86. Awesome blog Michael. After reading it, and I could feel the attraction I’ve had to the many different flavours but I have to ask, is ‘because we can’ worth it?

  87. I am no mathematician (have never been good at it and it was one the classes at school I hated .. it was the people I loved) but I can definitely see that in how we are living there is much wrong with it.

  88. We think we are so clever in all our distractions and delays and yet it just another flavour of distraction that we are choosing.

  89. To open up to our knowing of the vastness and beauty of the universe with the simplicity and flow of life in harmony with this is deeply beautiful and something i am learning more and more as with the multidimensionality we are all from.

  90. “are they so energetically astute that they can sense the slightest change in the energy of the parent despite the physical pretence?” A great reminder that if we could do this as kids then we can do this today, we’ve simply ignored what we can’t ignore.. perhaps thats a reason for the levels of depression and discontentment in life as we know we are more often than not not expressing what we feel and know to be true.

  91. Imagine life that is discerned upon the quality of energy that is making it happen. Me thinks this would simplify the chaos, drama and complication that now predominates life.

  92. Presented like a true philosopher Michael – the world of energy that lives behind the physical world we see, feel, touch, taste, smell and hear with the temporal senses we are so tempted by.

  93. We all know energy it is where we have come from but not what we have be consciously aware of, so it has been a process of returning to and bringing a stronger awareness to what we feel and what choices to make. I for one have fallen for the deceit and illusion of what seems right at the time yet only to discover later on the lie it was. Still a learning and great to be able to see the truth and now what is not real.

  94. The more we sever our ties to creation (the false life we have created to avoid the responsibility of living our divineness) the simpler and more expansive life becomes; it is like without the constriction of the attachments we get to be in and feel the vastness of the universe.

  95. To think that we seem to prefer 3rd-dimensional life and its choices of different flavoured chocolates rather than fifth-dimensional beingness defies logic, common sense and reason.

    1. It is not so much that we prefer it, it is that we have forgotten that there is another way to live that is accessible to us if we simply make a few adjustments to the way that we live so that our body becomes a tuning fork for the vibrations of divinity rather than a sponge that is used to absorb our temporal indulgences (the lower vibrations) and with this absorption render such awareness naught. There is a deliberate thwarting that happens at the spiritual level whereby the field of communication through which we access such universal wisdom (and this is simply the space within us and all around us) is deliberately filled up and hence cluttered by a myriad of beliefs and behaviours that prevent us from remembering our innate divinity. Thus, the ‘fall of man’ – the ungod who cannot even remember he is a god – that we are each learning to arise out of.

      1. Liane your comment is pure, beautiful science. I’m inspired to get rid of the clunk I’ve filled space up with and be a ‘tuning fork for the vibrations of divinity.’

      2. When we play human we become experts at filling and clogging up free flowing space that blocks our awareness of our divine origins. Thus, healing begins from inside out, clearing old beliefs, habits and behaviours that we took on, and in doing so, creating the space for grace to flow through our heavenly bodies, and as we move and express our divinity we are a reflection for all others, that they too can choose to re-awaken, and that we are all equal in making that choice, which is just a matter of time ( or space!).

      3. I would actually say we do prefer it, in a general sense. I think we all have examples where we know something is not right for us but do it any way, and that is as you say the temporal indulgences. Even if it would be the case that we non-stop have a 100% clear choice, I would put my bottom dollar that we would not choose to be the tuning fork all the time, without perfection of course.

      4. ‘the field of communication through which we access such universal wisdom (and this is simply the space within us and all around us) is deliberately filled up and hence cluttered by a myriad of beliefs and behaviours that prevent us from remembering our innate divinity’. I love the very descriptive nature of this, describing very visually how we avoid knowing the god we are.

      5. Beautifully expressed Liane and how the Creation Encyclopedia does not offer us a true alternative and thereby thwarts our ability to remember our origins.

  96. We have created such a complex world, we seem to make it more and more complicated and intense every day and we are convinced that the only way to make it is through chasing something or another day in day out. Yet when we look at the stars, there is such a depth of simiplicity and power that meets us, reminding us that there is a whole different rhythm and order to the Universe which we are a part of, and by default to us too.

  97. Thank you for breaking down and explaining in detail that everything is in fact energy and most importantly what that means to our living ways.

  98. Thanks, Michael. I appreciate how you expose creation here in simple terms, so we cannot deny what we sign up to and how it keeps us enthralled and distracted from true purpose.

  99. “Our Guide to Creation” – as we make our committed way through the sludge and self-manufacture of creation we slowly but surely return ourselves back to the stars where we’re orginally from. To know creation’s backwardness is to know heaven’s inwardardly-ness.

  100. But there is a catch: creation may be enticing and stimulating but the consequence of it is never love and it keeps us in a lesser state than we are in Truth, so the restlessness and tension escalate.

  101. When hearing common phrases such as this – “more to it than meets the eye” – it says to me that we do know that we are more than this human being. We know that there is more to life than what currently presents.

    1. Yes I agree, there are so many phrases and feelings that we have, that point to the everything (the universe) that is beyond the restriction of our human existence and the five senses we confine ourselves to.

  102. Understanding life as a flow of energy unlocks all we ever need to know and removes the need for any treat. Like someone has unlocked the door – finally we can see why and how life’s events come to be. Sounds pretty sweet to me.

  103. An absolutely extra-ordinary man, one of great wisdom and one of incredible humbleness. The absolutely amazing clarity and inspiration this man has is pure love and a joy to know and see.

  104. Life doesn’t have to be in a darkened box surrounded by the odour of our own creation. It can be the most majestic of experiences that just keeps on getting better and better.

  105. Michael, I love your description of Serge Benhayon here – ‘a man who is an authentic scientist not by educational degree, but by God’s divine decree’. Serge lives in and by the authority of his connection to God and limitless multi-dimensional intelligence that is accessible to all. I know this because the Science he presents resonates in every cell of my body, therefore I feel it to be the undeniable truth.

  106. There is only one of two choices to make: align to the grandness of God or my human small self and often I cave in and choose the latter.

    1. That is a great simple way of looking at it: “only two choices:align to the grandness of God or my human small self “. Exposing the illusion of a vast array of choices we pride our developed society with.

  107. Powerful writing Michael because it shatters the delusion and fog we hide behind. After reading this, there’s not doubting where we truly are. Believing we’ve moved on and ‘evolved’ when we’re still in the same place is creation’s biggest hold over us.

  108. Knowing that we choose what flavour of creation we want highlights that we all have our own flavour of hurts and rejections that we wish to avoid dealing with, a particular preference of comfort.

  109. We champion the variety and diversity we have (created) but in our pride we have fallen numb to what it is that it truly brings us, yes different flavours, colours and shapes but after all same same no difference in the quality that we are consuming.

  110. We pride ourselves in being the best chocolate chooser – only the best will do – ignoring the fact that in the choosing we are lost. It’s time we woke up to the world we have made for the sludge it truly is.

  111. There is a line in one of Catherine Wood and Tina Copa’s songs about ‘being fed candy until you can’t breathe’. This is what happens from when we are very young to silence the voice of the soul. We are bought off with things that appear sweet to buy our compliance with the way things are. And if that doesn’t work the stick comes out.

    1. “We are bought off with things that appear sweet to buy our compliance with the way things are.” Few are aware the game being played and are willing contestants in a game that entraps them in ignorance. And even those who know equally, do not escape the trap.

    2. “This is what happens from when we are very young to silence the voice of the soul.” Put plainly like this makes us aware of what is truly happening. Noises inside our heads often overpower the still, loving voice of Soul and up to us to clear out the deafening clutter so we can discern truth from untruth.

  112. We like to pretend that we do not know what life will deal out to us, as if this was a random allocation that happens – and this pretense is perhaps because we like to not have to live up to that level of responsibility that we are called to in terms of what ‘chocolate’ we end up with. ….The reality is that every choice we make really has consequences and so life is about living with the choices we make and learning from them as to what works and what does not work. And this in itself is a blessing though it may not always feel that way.

  113. When you consider the fact that we are multidimensional beings then it becomes very apparent just how hard and consistently we have to work at closing down our multidimensionality in order to live such narrow and confined lives. What a lot of effort we put in just so that we can drastically reduce ourselves. It’s non sensical to say the least.

    1. We have to all constantly keep peddling backwards, lest any of us should be seen to be evolving and hence run the risk of getting shot in the back by those who are still making the choice to lag behind.

  114. All is energy and when life offers its buffet of choices for us to pick from, discernment is key – this is about feeling feeling and feeling more what we have actually chosen and if this is something to confirm the beauty of our origins or to make us forget what is available to us at our fingertips at any time should we choose it.

  115. “Call it naïve or utopian if you wish, but looking up at the stars, we have a divine existence constantly reflecting to us where we originate from, what we are capable of and what one day, we shall return to.” – I love that feeling when you stand still looking up at the night sky and you see the stars…there is such an expansiveness that can be felt, an old-worldliness, a knowing that we are so much more than what the eye can see.

    1. True Henrietta – and it is an age old feeling, one that we have always known and belonged to.

  116. How often do we make choices that just confirm us in where we are at? We can release ourselves from the box we have chosen at any time and instead choose re-connect to our divine purpose.

    1. “How often do we make choices that just confirm us in where we are at? ” Love this Helen, being honest is a required first step. It also helps to be playful in the understanding this is not a fixed point, but one that unfolds over time as we begin to make truer choices that confirm our divinity.

  117. One of the biggest things we do is not being aware of what our choices are or only being aware of a few when there are many more which could be substantially better. Increasing our awareness so we have more choices can transform our life.

    1. And it is our choices that govern what choices we will subsequently be offered in the future and so what we choose now sets up our future. The only way out of the current mess that we are in as individuals and as a society, is to choose ourselves out and this we need to do, one choice at a time. And as laborious as that may sound to some, that level of detail is what’s needed as each choice that we make is aligning us to one of two energetic sources of energy and it is up to us to make conscious choices about which energetic source we’re signing up for.

    2. Either that or thinking that we are actually making lots of different choices across a range of options when really there is only ever one choice: Live Human or Live Everything We Are.

      1. I love the clarity here Michael. “there is only ever one choice: Live Human or Live Everything We Are”

  118. And we think tourist guides to London are comprehensive! Little, or more aptly, much do we know about our guide to keep going round in circles playing these games.

  119. We tend to be impressed when we have a large array of things to choose from. Yet if the whole array is only different versions of the same thing, and they all don’t truly support us in life, what is there to celebrate?

    1. Golnaz, you are spot on. We equate choice with luxury and lack of choice with poverty but this is part of the illusion to keep us choosing a different version of the same thing, over and over and over again.

      1. We can delude ourselves by thinking we’ve moved on when in truth:we’re merely ” choosing a different version of the same thing, over and over and over again”

  120. “We are the creators of all that we experience”, (Serge Benhayon, Esoteric Teachings & Revelations Volume II, ed 1, p). How empowering is that! It also asked for a great responsibility and no one else to blame if you don’t like what is going on in your life.

  121. ‘looking up at the stars, we have a divine existence constantly reflecting to us where we originate from’ – I love this fact, to know that we are part of something endlessly vast, every single one of us equally so.

  122. As a man I can feel how there are so many different lifestyle pictures and images everywhere about how to supposedly be a real man, but none of them have actually delivered to me true settlement and ease with myself. When I just connect to me and express who I am as a man it feels very different and much more sustainable.

  123. ‘Life is rich beyond measure when we don’t play mere human.’ – but when we choose or are caught in the reduction of being human and nothing more it makes all the sense in the world that we deserve any treat that gives us relief, reward, something to sweeten up the day, life’s little pleasures. And indeed when being merely human what else is there? Then everything is justified.

  124. Reading this article, I realised that the many choices we make that seem to be different, actually have a similar flavour. The friends we choose, our work, relationships, food and hobbies have a common flavour, which may not always be pretty but is familiar and comfortable in some way.

  125. ‘everything is energy. The word every-thing here should not be taken lightly.’ – I am in 100% agreement with that statement. Hence I find it very interesting that we we live in a world that is more or less completely ignorant to the immense importance of energy and how it affects every-thing – there is no escaping it.

  126. This big box of chocolates which are all our choices to not feel what our purpose is here on earth is not only big but the box will never be empty, we are inventing new flavours all of the time.

  127. The guide is mastered in every way, a scripture that has been modified throughout the ages to attempt to cease the tension that underlies all of life as we see and think it to be.

  128. And how cool will it be when we are prepared to root out and see in the light of day what that ‘one flavour’ is – the one that has us dropping the standards and caving in – because I find that I choose to be blind to this and then get seemingly ‘caught out’.

    1. You’re not alone in this Matilda. I’m observing this in myself. Seemingly dropped one choice, felt ‘good about it and moved on to another not realising this choice made was within vibration of ‘one flavour’. I had not moved at all.

  129. ‘We are responsible first and foremost for the energetic root we draw our action from’ – any and every action, yes. This actually makes life super simple. Thank you, Michael.

  130. Yes Doug, what’s the point where we cave in? What is that one flavour that we will just not drop… and all the while the stars await.

  131. Referring to another line from the same movie: ‘Run, fools, run!’ – the moment we stop running we get to feel the discomfort of the chocolate comfort and the emptiness underneath, hence the constant motion of doing and thinking that is required to keep the wheel of creation going like a hamster in its hamster wheel. As someone said recently, it is only when you are in the hamster wheel that you think you are stepping up the ladder, i.e. improving or advancing, creating a better life while you are just caught in the motion that gets you nowhere. Of course then we seek a reward, a truffle of solace, a moment of sweetness, a seeming break from the stresses of life only to be prepped up to get going round and round in just the same manner.

    1. How exhausting this is too. When you look at much of our advertising today it is feeding into the reward and solutions that we are seeking. In a true stop we get to feel the futility of this way of being and begin to appreciate there is a more loving and way to be and live.

  132. We don’t just ‘play human’ but in society we reduce ourselves even further and play our roles, e.g become the ‘student’, good mother, successful businessperson, writer, brother etc. As you’ve shared Michael there is so much more to us than what we temporally identify ourselves by.

    1. The key word here is identification. The moment we identify with any role we have already dismissed who we truly are.

    2. Yes, each of these roles has the consequence that we are less aware of many choices.

  133. This to me is the great exposure of our current way of living
“One may draw a praline, a truffle, a caramel delight or a coconut nougat, however, is it not still a chocolate, still made up of cocoa, sugar, often milk, and then just a varying flavour to differentiate it from the pieces that lay beside it?”
We think we have it made, that we can have whatever we like when we like, how we like, but we do not stop to consider that all the choices we think we have and we think we make are all coming from the one same source.

  134. Living a responsible life, with the knowing that everything we do or receive comes from an energetic choice, is a very wise and scientific decision to make that opens up our vision and experience of life.

  135. “. . . we can identify ourselves by name and behaviour and individualise ourselves, but in truth and in essence, we are largely made up of space, and this space does not have colour, creed or religion to differentiate itself from another bit of space . . . ” in our world today this is what could help to find a way out of all our misery as it could help us to understand that we are all one.

    1. … very unifying to feel that we are in fact in essence the same. Treating each other with equal respect and love would transform our world as we know it.

  136. “the energy exists way before the physical action” – this is the key and is worth reading again and again for to understand and live this is transformative to say the least!

  137. Do we keep making the same limited choices or do we take our inspiration from the reflection of the Universe?

  138. Yes the law of Free Will, otherwise known here as ‘because we can’, has allowed us to wander far away from our original and truly divine essence. Thank you, Michael, for highlighting that our indulgent forays have not really worked out so well. Maybe it’s time to head home…

  139. When I look in the sky of stars there is this huge stillness and order and spaciousness unlimited. You concluded that we are made of the same particles like the stars. When I look down here on earth, we haven´t made any use of that fact instead we are destroying every kind of space and the true communication that could be otherwise on offer.

    1. Yes, instead of space we created time, instead of stillness we chose raciness and instead of order and flow we made up complication and chaos. Because we are the intelligent species – not.

      1. What a constant self- created hurt we live with. Only to not remember our vastness we all are and only to stay in comfort and self created pleasures and identification.

  140. Wow Michael- this is a true pull up blog! Thank you for your authoritative speech about what is truly going on in this world and how everyone is celebrating and indulging in the fact that they live lesser than who they are.

  141. What a stunner of a piece Michael! As I always say, if you need any proof that we desire our issues and problems just ask yourself or anyone for that matter whether they could handle a day with no issues, dramas, stresses or woes. In other words a day that is actually amazing in the truth of that word. Very very very few in the world would be willing to put up their hand and truly say yes. This is despite the lie the systems project out proclaiming that our God is to have this perfect world yet it is us stopping such a world from existing in the first place!

    1. They say that if everyone in the world put all their problems in a pile and you picked one at random you’d be glad to get yours back – but it would seem we would just be glad to get one at all!

  142. “Call it naïve or utopian if you wish, but looking up at the stars, we have a divine existence constantly reflecting to us where we originate from, what we are capable of and what one day, we shall return to.” Yes and we know from our history books that in ancient times we were connected with the universe and used to work in and in accordance with it while nowadays we apply our intelligence to it and call ourselves the explorer and masters of what is ‘out there’. We are part of the universe we do not have to fight it nor own it but just be humble and take our rightful place responsibly in it.

  143. If we take the lesson from this blog we have the opportunity to delve into much deeper conversations about being in life, passing over and what we are actually walking and talking with every day. There’s so much to put into practice that we cannot sit back and analyse anymore.

  144. In the end, after all revelations, we are left to consider that we are so much more then mere humans, and that this creation of human life pales in comparison to the glory of a divine life of co-creation. The most challenging consideration to the average human being is not only the fact that we are not mere humans, but the fact that we are not meant to be here, that there is nothing to have for us here and that what we should occupy ourselves with is how to not be here by reconnecting to our soul and living in harmony with universal laws.

    1. I agree with you Carolien, I too feel our biggest hurdle to overcome is that we are not mere human-beings that actually we are the introduced species here on earth. When we talk in this way we are considered to be delusional, crack pots off our heads. So I feel we have a long way to go to expose the lie we continue to live under.

      1. yes it may be a long way, as we have so deeply invested in making this world ‘it’ that in many cases it will need a rather strong upset of regular life, be it personal or by a natural disaster, before we are willing to widen our gaze and be open to the much much more there is.

  145. This guide to creation is at the same time a guide out of creation, for realizing the truth of our existence here is what will wake us up and start looking in a different direction, away from the endless circleor cyce of self-re-creating energy.

  146. As a wise man recently said “we know it is not working, but we are working on it’ this as much sums it up as the why we, in the face of divinity and multidimensionality so stubbornly keep going, millennium after millennium, fooling ourselves that one they we can make life on earth as it is in heaven without having to give up individuality. Utterly impossible as there is no self and no creation in heaven. Yet we try…

  147. This sums up for me just how lost we are as a race of human-beings, that there is an energy that keeps us all entertained in whatever takes our fancy (box of Chocolates) and by that deceives us from ever knowing we are more than the physical human-being.

  148. Not only is it all chocolate but chocolate in itself is not what it seems to be. It masquerades as something that we love or is a treat – but how can that be if it is harmful for our body.

    1. Yes, so very true, we do not look beyond of what is on offer but stay with the first enthralment, taste, sensation, completely ignoring what the substance of the matter we are consuming really is made of and its effect on our entire body and state of being.

  149. “One may draw a praline, a truffle, a caramel delight or a coconut nougat, however, is it not still a chocolate, still made up of cocoa, sugar, often milk, and then just a varying flavour to differentiate it from the pieces that lay beside it?” Yes, a chocolate is a chocolate no matter what taste, whether organic, conventional or raw. And this is a very tangible example which can be applied to all areas of life. We pride ourselves of the many things we invent, come up with and then have at our disposal. But how good are they if they are made all from the same stuff – lovelessness.

  150. ‘If Everything is Energy, then – Energy must Matter’ – Energy matters indeed, I just wonder why did I not learn about the importance of it until I was nearly 50 years old? Why is it that we don’t learn about the impact of energy already as children, at home, in school and then later in the work place? Understanding and awareness of energy has for me been completely life changing.

  151. ‘If Everything is Energy, then – Energy must Matter’ it doesn’t make sense that if it is true, (and science doesn’t dispute this fact) that we ignore the fact of energy in every detail of our lives and pretend that its not there.

    1. Yes if we did truly live the wisdom of these words ‘Everything is energy’ and saw that our every movement in life is based on the energy we choose to ‘matter’ it leaves no mystery as to where we find ourselves in life as individuals and collectively.

  152. If we keep eating piles of these sweets, stuffing our face, we can’t be surprised when our body breaks down and teeth ache. If we truly want our condition to change, time to stop binging on illusion.

    1. Someone once said the definition of idiocy is to do the same thing twice and expect different results …Just Saying

  153. It is becoming more and more undeniable that the world we have created is not working and strategies to try to fix things are not getting anywhere. We seem to often get excited about short term relief yet in the long run at best we end up stuck in just a different version of the same, but more often than not if we look at it honestly we have to admit we are worse off. So true Michael, what if the answer was outside the box altogether.

  154. Michael that is an absolutely outstanding piece of writing, extraordinarily so. Your ability to explain science in a way that is not only relatable but also inspiring is nothing short of brilliant.

    1. Thank you Alexis, I do love the simplicity of Science when it’s allowed to speak for itself.

  155. This is not it. And looking around at the world today we would have to agree, this is not it. But it is also not a betterment of what we have created on earth – this is only same, same. The Universe is calling us to the Grandness of who we truly are. Thank you Serge Benhayon for your stupendous forever gift to humanity – the reflection and truth of who we truly are.

    1. I don’t understand Jenny, what is not a betterment of what we have created on earth?

  156. One of the issues is that the concept of energy is not one that is studied in mainstream medical science. There are fringe activities but no research that is generally accepted that speaks about energy in any way that is similar to the way Michael writes in this blog.

  157. A smorgasbord with a wide range of diverse treats from a very creative supplier, something for every taste and desire, but with one main purpose, to imitate ‘free will’ and keep us blind to the lack of true free will, ie. the only two options of choice: spirit or Soul.

    1. And we gladly swallow the imitation as long as we get to keep, not only our comfort, but also our individuality.

  158. The smorgasbord of life, very intentionally and meticulously created and continuously adjusted to suit the specific taste of every single person on earth and keep us hooked on what is on offer, to keep our visions focused on the smorgasbord alone and never venture into the unknown, away from the table..

    1. Although it must be said, the unknown is not unknown at all, and it is for this reason that the smorgasboard is ‘pimped up’ all the time with flashing lights and all that appeals and entertains, for should we let our gaze wonder for only a second we will see a light so bright and deep down so familiar that it reminds us of who we are and thus of what we truly are craving and we then start to feel that maybe there is nothing on the smorgasboard that could actully fullfill us.

  159. ‘Life is rich beyond measure when we don’t play mere human.’ A quote of the day, car bumper sticker, fridge magnet… the works. Your last line, Michael, says everything… life is indeed ‘rich beyond measure’ and it is up to us to open our everything to this.

  160. Our spirit has us in an energy that creates an illusionary ways and would have us understand that we are it, when our bodies are a complexity of different thought that are controlling our relationships with us being delusional about what our bodies are Truly from, which is from divine roots. So lets get our bodies back into True energy and move our posteriors into gear so The energetic state we are in is known so we align to our essences, which will bless us endlessly.

  161. What a read. A great insight into how life is more than we think it is. I like your points on space. There’s far more of it within us than we think.

  162. “we have created a society where we can get non-stop chocolate for our entire existence” – no wonder so many feel and look sick – in fact we have even forgotten what true health and vitality look like as we are too stuffed with chocolate metaphorically speaking.

    1. We keep getting mini-hits from yet another dose of chocolate but the ill effects of these hits are becoming larger and larger. Will we ever decide that those mini-stimulations are not worth the cost?

  163. It is an interesting philosophical point you make here Micheal that perhaps it appears that we have a wide range of choices and life-styles to choose from and many of us spend a whole life switching these around believing we are getting somewhere but what if all these choices were from the same source of energy and therefore we were actually getting nowhere?

  164. So much to enjoy, soul music to my particles, the pulse of the universe calls me home in this article….“…we currently live in the consciousness of a 3-dimensional world which is actually multi-dimensional, yet we remain blissfully ignorant to that fact.“ I await the book ….staggering writing simple, elegant, clear and concise. Everything you share is known to us and yet as a society we maintain an agenda that suits us and attempt to bury the laws of the universe, the facts of life to not look at where we originate from. All that you share should be shared in school, these are conversations we should be having at home, work, with our families. Everyday life is all about energy.

  165. I love how Serge Benhayon has opened up the whole subject of space, the vast grandness we are held in and can be informed by, once we accept that we are more than merely human.

  166. When we consider we are made up of the same particles as the universe, and that we are resonant vibrational vehicles of expression it highlights how our every expression matters and is affecting the whole.

  167. Life may appear to be as sweet and tasty as a box of chocolate, but with every reach into the box we feed our addiction and maintain or even increase the ignorance that keeps us from realizing the nutrient deficiency and harm of the ingredients.

  168. ‘So with all that, which may be a reminder or refresher for some or completely new knowledge to others, we can see that we live in a world of energy, particles and the physical realm of creation, which we have designed to enthral and arrogantly comfort us in our existence.’ – And when we are ready to truly see what is here laid out for us awaits the question: What do we do with it, or rather, What would be the responsible thing to do with it?

  169. I love the depth you have explored and shared here Michael, helping me to connect to this in a much more embodied way. I feel the sense of space that we are and why in fact we are connected to the Universe and how essential it is to confirm this in the way that I live.

  170. Thank-you Mathew for summarising the immutable truths unearthed by Einstien and earthed today by Serge Benhayon. Its easy to see how creations playground provides the reductionist roof that caps humanities innately universal awareness.

  171. A rather different view of Forrest Gump – rather than championing each experience, this is a much more considered and honest view of the poison that sits in each choice in our creation.

So what if we were to start making different choices, to see and feel the space inside of us? There is this fantastic process where the body replaces every aspect of ourselves every 7 years, so there is no question that we can change… literally everything… if we so choose.

  172. It is indeed a very empowering revelation to understand that everything that plays out in our life is due to energy and what quality of energy we are choosing. This puts us firmly in the driver’s seat as part of the cause of what is occurring rather than just being the recipients of life.

  173. We can champion our existence here on earth and we can fight about all our different ideas of what our truth is – which chocolate has the best taste – fact is that we all have to and will one day, return to that divine stellar state this blog is about.

    1. Very true, Nico, we can wear ourselves out resisting the truth, hanging on to all that we have created, which is, in turn, destroying us. Or, we can surrender to the love that we already are and walk our path of return with love, in joy, harmony and brotherhood.

      1. It all depends if we feel devastated or not by the choices we make in life as mostly only devastation makes us to look for another way to live life and perhaps makes us to try not to eat of the assortment of chocolates for a while.

  174. Our books of human life are perfect in what it serves, that is to keep us trapped in this life of creation. But it is imperfect in the sense that these books do hurt us so much because they keep us trapped in this three dimensional realm until we get a distaste of it and start to write the book of divine life that in fact already is written.

  175. Michael you have said so much in this blog. Much to ponder on regarding the choices we make in life and even though they may look different on the outside, still have the same energetic origin. They are still chocolate in other words, meaning that we continue to go round and round in circles.

    1. Which brings us back to a key point in understanding the truth – the acceptance that everything is energy first and, therefore, everything is because of energy – as shared by Serge Benhayon. Without this, we will continue to go around and around in circles.

      1. When we look at everything as energy first, things make so much more sense and we can see how we are being manipulated by the energy, which also de-personalises situations – allowing us to address the energy at play, understanding that the behaviour of the other person is a result of the offending energy, which they are allowing, but it isn’t who they are.

  176. It was great to ponder the quality of human behaviours and without any great talent for mathematics I can feel that many of our destructive behaviours do not equate to the divine order that is reflected in the universe or nature.

  177. I love the profound simplicity of this statement of truth. ‘If Everything is Energy, then – Energy must Matter.’ Thank you for expressing all you have here Michael.

  178. I agree, Doug, Michael expresses absolute divinity through his words shared in such a clear and relatable way. I feel completely held in love and I read through the many pieces of the puzzle which all come together to explain and show how we have allowed ourselves to be fooled for far too long, yet there is a choice there for us all on how we can finally return home.

  179. Comparing life to a box of chocolates is a great analogy for the illusion we have all bought into and are choosing to live.

    1. And what an indulgence it is, as we cling onto our ‘creation’, resisting being the divinity that we already are.

      1. Crazy when you consider that we resist the very thing that is capable of bringing us everything that we have ever wanted, plus an unlimited amount more.

  180. ‘We get very excited about the ‘box’ as we become so enticed and seduced by the multitude of flavours it offers. We do not pay attention to the limits of its walls, nor how they contain, contract and limit the expression of who we are. ‘ – yet, after the initial high and the stimulation wears off, we come crashing down, back to the realisation that we still feel a dis-ease within, perhaps even more acutely now. We become addicted to the highs as we can’t bear the lows, yet this yo-yoing is pulling us further and further away from the hope of any settlement within. Therein lies the key to our resurrection, choosing to re-connect within, with the honesty, awareness and acceptance of how we have chosen to medicate ourselves from the sweet shop that lies all around us.

  181. Thank you Michael for a very inspiring and relatable blog, a great analogy of the box of chocolates, which we in creation have boxed ourselves up with. So many delights offering us so much but delivering us nothing but a dulling of our awareness that we are so much more than being human. Within this body of ours we carry an amazing divinity that does not belong to this world.

    1. Beautifully said Jill – we do carry a divinity in this body of ours and hence why it can feel so foreign to be here, yet that is what it is all about – to live amongst the chocolates on offer and and be a part of life, yet not even feel like having chocolates when one knows the truth of who one is.

      1. ” to live amongst the chocolates on offer and be a part of life, yet not even feel like having chocolates when one knows the truth of who one is”. Yes, this is the essence Henrietta and this conversation has brought me much more clarity and understanding of what it means to connect first to our divinity within.

  182. We have abandoned our true glory in favour of a box of goo that renders us senseless. One day in the not too distant future, we are going to wake up with an almighty hangover. Nothing we create can ever match the depth of wisdom, magic and intelligence that we are an immutable part of.

  183. The more we re-connect to ourselves, our truth, our innate loveliness the less we want to be part of creation (the box of chocolates) but instead be with co-creation .. the stars, the Universe, the flow, God, knowing we are all one. The Gentle Breath Medication is a beautifull supportive tool that helps us to re-connect easily to this innate quality no matter how far we have strayed http://www.unimedliving.com/meditation/free

  184. It is indeed time for us to leave the box in its entirety. Well said Michael, and laid out for the world to see the chocolate that we all are feasting one. And this blog has deepened my appreciation for Serge Benhayon and Natalie Benhayon for showing us, and living in such a way, that we can indeed leave the box and live as the multi-dimensional beings that we are.

  185. Love this Elizabeth, I could write a part 2 to this blog of even greater length based on what you have shared here – “What so called intelligence is at play here?”

  186. Understanding the reasons underneath the forays into the ‘chocolate box’ of illusion and cutting its addiction, is a major step on our Path of Return to the stars that we are part of.
“It is time for us to leave behind the box altogether. Let’s allow the stars to guide us onward and upward and let us give permission to our particles to show us the way”.

  187. We do have a divine existence constantly reflecting to us who we truly are… It is all around us at all times, and in the space between us, between the cells in our body and between the stars.

    1. In the body we are already as divine as in the universe, it is only our mind, fed by the spirit, that stubbornly tries to avoid this fact as it has successfully done for ages.

  188. Yes Doug! There is one pearl of wisdom after another. Even though my body knows it, reading some statements nearly knocked me off my seat… or better still, rocked the comfortable areas I have in my life.

  189. The best science philosophical lesson I’ve ever been too! Imagine learning, or more appropriately re-acquainting with this truth, at school. I’m sure children and teens would be rocking up to that kind of class.

    1. And very cool to present too! I’m sure it would engage the teacher and student alike.

  190. “We are masters of what we have created” well said Michael. Arguments are a great example of this – we are masters of creating and perpetuating arguments for no particular reason other than to create an issue, problem, method of avoiding other things to discuss etc. We are masters of the exact timing, place and person.

  191. “We have put ourselves in a box and filled it with treats that gratify our hunger, and this not only distracts us from feeling and seeing the everything we have cut ourselves off from, this also feeds the denial that keeps the whole charade going in its perpetual circular motion”. Until you really start to feel energy and the cunning, cut-throat arrogance of your own spirit, you are blind to the fact that you are one of the masters of this reality that we have created. Luckily for us, the distractions are wearing thin, as the pull of our soul gets stronger.

    1. Yes, we are all masters of this world we live in – we have each contributed to the making of our current state of affairs… and therefore, every one of us knows deep down how we can turn this around – how we can live lives of truth, integrity and responsibility.

  192. The choice before us, do we choose to be reductionist or expansive in life? Life can suck us in and bring us down to earthly comforts and if we accept this we lost connection to our multidimensionality.

  193. It is because we are in truth Gods that we are able in creating so many flavours of chocolate that we can manage to keep ourselves away from the truth. However, as ‘too much of a good thing’ eventually gets too sickly so the pleasure of the chocolate of individuality will eventually turn sour and we will return to being Gods in our full glory.

    1. Great point Jonathan – its the power that we have, the power of our will and the freedom of choice, that allows us to choose whether we create a world for ourselves where we are the centre, or perhaps we use that power on behalf of a greater plan.

      1. The chocolate certainly turned sour for me and stepping on the path of return to Truth is, I have discovered, has a sweetness that is far more enriching.

  194. A brilliant piece of writing Michael. You say ‘we have created a world overflowing with all our varying flavours of chocolates where we can indulge at a moment’s notice.’ – How true, humanity is knee deep in indulgence, we seem to deem comfort as the main purpose in life, where the goal is the next break, next holiday, next chocolate, next coffee, next sigarette, next home, next partner, the list of comfort has no end.

    1. When we choose to re-connect within, there is no looking forward to ‘next’, our focus shifts to the here and now, feeling the expansiveness of each moment, allowing the unfoldment of what is there to be next, because of our choices – are we saying yes to more or no, and yes to indulging in more comfort.

  195. Thank you Michael for presenting the truth of what is really going on and the choices we are making simply offering awareness and a way forward for humanity to claim the hugeness and joyfulness of who we really are.

  196. Why choose density when we can have space? A brilliant question, most choose to dumb down unaware they can touch the stars.

  197. “As imbecilic as it may sound (and that it surely is), we have created a society where we can get non-stop chocolate for our entire existence.” This is very true and it is not until a majority of humanity realise this and decide to take responsibility to change things will the state of the world change.

  198. This is beautiful, Michael, a true equaliser and proof of the fact that we all reside within the grandness of God’s body – ‘in truth and in essence, we are largely made up of space, and this space does not have colour, creed or religion to differentiate itself from another bit of space’.

  199. An amazing simple clear understanding of creation and all we champion and have created it to be and the lies exposed being the only way to evolve move forward and claim the fact that we are not mere humans but so much more . The fact that we are multidimensional beings part of the universe the stars and all the space around us is deeply beautiful to feel and something we know inside us all and it takes the whole chocolate box analogy to hide the truth and keep up the false pretence of life as we know it. The time is here to make the change as the truth is being delivered clearly for us all again. An amazing gift from the heavens Serge Behaynon his family and Universal Medicine are showing us the truth the way and the love we all are.

  200. It is great to not assume, every moment we have a choice to read and feel energy and not take for granted or assume this flat line life of self gratification, need and emotions it is …there is so much more to feel, know and express.

  201. Absolutely superb an amazing read and I throughly enjoyed and have been inspired by it, pursuing that box of chocolates is definitely where we are at when it comes to this created life we have all conformed to….so how about looking outside of the box…..

  202. ““Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get.” If we park aside the fact that the saying suggests we are not in charge of our own choices, therefore “you never know what you’re gonna get” – which of course is not true ”
Could this be one of the problems with humanity that we don’t feel and are actively encouraged by the group consciousness we are choosing that we do not have a choice. This makes it so easy to give up and just go along with the crowd because that’s what everyone else is doing so it must be right! No one wants to know or admit that we are being controlled by a consciousness that keeps us locked away from knowing who we are in truth. And when anyone starts to question the way we live life in this way people think they are off their head and or barmy, which is just another way to stop anyone for exposing the rot we live in.

  203. Given a box of chocolates as a gift recently, I accepted it but put the whole box to one side. It was not for me.
Knowing we can participate in life without partaking in all its distractions and entertainments, is indeed a joyful place to be.

  204. Yes I would agree that one of the most disempowering beliefs out there about life is that it is all just fate and chance and you just get what you get and you have no say in it. From my experience of life this is not true, I would say that we have a lot more say in how our life ends up then we think.

  205. I knew someone when growing up that at Christmas time they would poke a small hole in the bottom of the chocolates to avoid the ones they did not like, eliminating the buffet of choices. Was this literally, cherry picking?

  206. “Life is rich beyond measure when we don’t play mere human.” There is so much more to life than what we have been sold to believe… and you present it magnificently here Michael – very inspirational indeed.

  207. “And we enjoy the ‘chocolates’ twice over, not only because of the comfort they provide but also because we are the chocolatier!” This is the only thing that can explain why in our sound minds we keep going with: “War, destruction, death, corruption, murder, rape, torture, suicide, female genital mutilation, starvation, drug abuse, caffeine reliance, sugar addiction, global obesity, bulimia, cancer, diabetes, dementia, mental health disorders, defamation, hate, bitterness, resentment, jealousy, rage, frustration, dishonesty, lack of self-worth, self-flagellation, low confidence and arrogant compensation just to name a few,…” because it is our own creation and we have too much pride to say ‘oops’ this is not what we are here to do, and ‘wow’ did we make a big mess by not adhering to the whole universe.

  208. A star-lit read Michael Brown. You know when you have chosen creation when you so choose the comfort of doing what you want to do and withholding yourself from the challenge of allowing the feeling of the unknown to have its way. When you do this at will it is new and almost strange but not to the body just the being inside that wants the control of owning its own creation. The being inside me who wants that control has the usual outcry of “I’ll give how much I want to give” when all in all taking that time to self-love and self-nurture yourself in those moments to feel it all and be content what it is you’ve been avoiding to do.. we just have to feel and accept that creation does not feel good and we have chosen it.

  209. Wow Michael what a wonderful and simple explanation about Einsteins formular. I was never good in maths therefore I was never interested in it but your awesome blog gave me the invitation to be more curious about it – how wonderful is that!

  210. ‘We have put ourselves in a box and filled it with treats that gratify our hunger, and this not only distracts us from feeling and seeing the everything we have cut ourselves off from, this also feeds the denial that keeps the whole charade going in its perpetual circular motion.’ – metaphorically and physically, in the sense that everything is set up in life to keep us trapped in our box. It’s no co-incidence that our focus on food has amped up considerably over the last decade or so, with the plethora of cooking shows on prime time TV enthusiastically backed up by the food industry pumping out increasingly enticing morsels for us to gorge ourselves on.

    1. Food is one of the easiest ways for us to be manipulated, our relationship with food is very complex and as a society it’s the means by which we can comfort, celebrate, medicate, punish, sabotage and ultimately destroy our divine selves on a daily basis.

      1. It shows our delay and digging our heals in to stay in creation when there is more food than we could ever need on this planet, yet there are new food ‘creations’ being advertised and taking off every day.

      2. I agree it is one of the easiest but it is also one of the most honest – as in food is easy to clock and to be aware of consequences, but something like mentally sexualising a woman or even just comparing ourselves to someone else, can be done without being visible or in other words; better the evil you know.

  211. What you share here, so clearly and simply is imperative for each and every one of us to understand in order for us to pull ourselves out of the muck we have created and are now suffering in.
“We are the creators of all that we experience”

    1. Our first step in being able to accept this realisation is to be open to the fact that everything we had thought was true, may in fact be completely false.

    2. And this comes with responsibility. We can no longer blame everyone and everything, not victimising ourselves for the situation we find ourselves in, however that may look.

    3. Indeed both on micro as macro level. When I apply this to my own life, it makes clear, if I complain about something, it is my own creation and/or reacting to something I myself created. The word responsibility comes up for me: taking responsibility for all my moves, actions, words etc.

  212. Like any addiction it can seem so quick that we are back snacking on creation’s sweeties again. This is a beautiful expose of what’s truly at play and one we could well do with referring to any time we get cravings.

  213. Epic blog Michael. Had to google what a few words meant. Got my head and body thinking. Saturday morning philosophy. Much to chew on indeed as a previous commenter wrote. My feeling is that you are bang on the money here. Will enjoy revisiting and chewing/pondering on what you have so exquisitely offered.

    1. Haha surely nothing better than a bit of Saturday morning philosophy Sarah? Sometimes I have to google what the words that i’ve written mean too 🙊

  214. ‘So, what actually are we? Vehicles of space and energy, which are making life a whole lot denser than it truly is.’ – love this line, that’s exactly what we are, and what we’re doing – life is very simple, when we let go of our pictures, investments, wants and needs, and embrace and accept it/ourselves exactly how it/we are, in that moment. The density comes from holding on to and grabbing at life, trying to make ourselves feel secure in it, instead of totally letting go, allowing and trusting – knowing that life cannot provide us with anything greater than what we already have, within.

  215. It is interesting to learn that there are energies at play with a vested interest in keeping us small and contracted, and it is our responsibility to rise above that and realign to Soul

  216. This is a blog to read and read again because there are so many opportunities to understand why, when we play mere human, we reduce ourselves in the world and the harm that does as a reflection to another. If we are all reducing ourselves we start to think that reduced way of living is normal and when someone steps out of that constraint and chooses to develop a relationship with themselves we look at that as abnormal! The world turns upside down by our own lack of engagement with the fact there is more to life than this physical body.

  217. Knowing that we reduce our understanding of life to predominantly 2 dimensions means we miss understanding the why behind the what and that increases anxiety.

  218. We get so much satisfaction from being able to choose whatever we want that we conveniently forget that with choices come responsibilities.

  219. Michael this is an epic of a blog and nowhere have I got more clearly that life and the choices we make is like a big box of chocolate, an ‘entire smorgasbord all from one and the same supplier’. No matter what we choose, it will dull us in one way or another, keeping us from the truth we don’t want to realise deep within. “It is time for us to leave behind the box altogether. Let’s allow the stars to guide us onward and upward and let us give permission to our particles to show us the way.” Amen to that!

  220. I have never been good at maths. But with the support of Universal Medicine and Serge Benhayon (and in deep appreciation of them) I now have re-collected an understanding of energy and what the true truth is. We as humanity have a lot to understand about energy and this has nothing to do with intelligence for this intelligence in a re-igniting or re-connection to the intelligence that lies equally within all of us and is part of something far far grander than what we are currently living.

  221. Wow! Michael this is a powerful and inspiring read. Throughout life humans are seeking and searching for ‘the missing piece’ externally to themselves, and no amount of chocolate will fill this void -the void of separating from God aeons past when we lived from the multidimensionality of our being.
“Life is rich beyond measure when we don’t play mere human.”

  222. Brilliant blog Michael, full of wisdom, easy to relate and to understand. The part about space was fascinating, I’ve had this presented to me before but the way you explained it makes so much sense.

  223. Being open to other possibilities is what has supported me to move on in my life. Not settling.
Going deeper into the concept that everything is energy opens up a whole different way to view life.
Thank you Serge Benhayon for supporting me to go even deeper.

  224. “Life is rich beyond measure when we don’t play mere human.”– mere human really feels flat and meaningless like being a praline or nougat compared to the abundance and multidimensionality of who we truly are. Without knowing ourselves as being part of the universe, made of the same space and light as the firmament we are just like dust in the wind.

  225. It is so true that we always pick up and feel more than the physical. We can feel how someone is and the more we acknowledge that, the more sensitive we become.

  226. When we can sense something beyond the physical realm it is living proof to me that there is far more to us than what we realise. I can give many examples where if I had relied only on my sight, hearing and the intelligence we have today, I would have missed out on the golden gems of truth that were available to me at the time.

  227. We may say we don’t know what we are getting but we do as we are the one who have set this whole thing up to suit our appetite.

  228. A great exposure of how much humanity is hooked on creation and living in a far lessor way, by ignoring the fact of energy. The illusion is thick and cloudy also comfortable at the same time , and another chocolate is just a choice away. Bravo Michael an awesome article very powerful stuff.

  229. “….. we currently live in the consciousness of a 3-dimensional world which is actually multi-dimensional, yet we remain blissfully ignorant to that fact.” Yet as you go on to describe most of us have had awarenesses -that I would never have described as ‘energy’ prior to attending Universal Medcine events. We know far more than we think we do.

  230. We play that mere human and when we do we miss out on the richness we are and come from, yes and it’s great to have this so clearly elucidated and exposed. We know creation doesn’t work, and in our incessant need not to feel this we keep running – it’s time to stop and allow ourselves to know the space in us.

  231. This is an astute summise of the way most approach life, to the detriment of our relationships and communities. To bring back our awareness of how creation works is to do away with that individualistic drive that run/ruins things.. “we have given ourselves over to our wants and desires, and in that we have become arrogant, as well as ignorant of the awareness of what would / would not actually serve us as a society, and from this self-obsessed stance we have created a world overflowing with all our varying flavours of chocolates where we can indulge at a moment’s notice.”

  232. A riveting read Michael, and a pleasure to read such well observed and assimilated philosophy and ageless wisdom.

  233. I love that we are made up of the same stuff of stars, we are most definitely not just human and once we free ourselves of the bind of the eyes and touch of mass we can start to really live that we are energy first and foremost. So the quality of us comes down to the energy we choose to move us. So simple.

  234. Yes, Michael, we are so enthralled by everything with ‘the box’ of creation that we do not even consider that this reality is not the truth of our origins.

  235. Is it possible that there is a being in our body ( Spirit) that is running the show and that it doesn’t want to be exposed as running the show; so it makes sure that we all live in a way that dulls our bodies from sensing our awareness so that it can indulge in whatever takes it’s fancy. I can see this clearly when I go to the hospital I see older people there who are literally stunned to find themselves at the end of their lives wondering what life was all about and how they got to the end without really understanding how they got there and what a waste of time it was. This shows me that there is a lot more going on that ‘meets the eye’ but as yet we are not as a race of human-beings willing to go there and expose the fact that we have been completely duped by our spirit who is running the show = our lives.

  236. As we have chosen creation ‘just because we can’ so to we can choose co-creation ‘just because we can’ and make it the ‘box’ of flavours.

  237. Human beings are divine beings who know how to move in a way to work out their relationship with space so we avoid spaciousness as our foundation. In that space, we can remain only human to the best of our abilities.

    1. And I love the part where Michael explains that there is space pretty much in everything. Why would we want to fill it up with denseness?

  238. “These vehicles of space, which are no different to the stars in the night sky, are made from the same space and particles we are, just arranged differently.” When we know who we are and of what we are made we too can shine like the stars.

  239. Sooner or later we are going to have to face up to the fact that what we have created here on earth is not something that can be made better. As you say Michael, it is all “chocolate” and the only way to not have “chocolate” is to say No to it and Yes to living from our divine essence.

  240. It is crazy to think we have all that multi-dimensionality if we choose but instead hold on to everything that keeps us from it. A numbed out state that can never satisfy or fill the gap of leaving our true selves.

    1. Yes, so we live aching for something we can’t put our finger on but is constantly there. We use choices that are not helping us without considering whether the choices we have in front of us are the only choices we have available to us.

  241. So tangibly explained how grandiose we think we have life made to be all the while we live in and are from the universe, a far greater space than we allow ourselves to feel and the magnitude of our true potential that has nothing to do with our human endeavors but the true grandness we are coming from and are part of, the universe.

  242. Michael in the first section alone you share something that stops society in its tracks, when you expose the lie that “we never know what we are going to get” when in fact our choices indeed show what we are going to get, they enable that to happen – its all about what choices we make and the life that then unfolds based on that. Yet we are never really taught about this and even less so that the real choice is about energy first and everything else then follows. So whilst we don’t know the detail we can know the quality.

  243. “The word every-thing here should not be taken lightly.” Humanity has yet to really get the power of both Einstein’s equation and Serge Benhayon’s statement that all and everything we touch, feel, see, smell and hear in this dimension arises from energy and that there are two types of energy to choose from. One of the most powerful teachings I have ever received was in learning how to physically differentiate the two within my body, the unique signature of Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine that empowers us to make the most fundamental choice in our lives, which type of energy do we wish to live from.

  244. What a breakdown of human life, with a simple metaphor such as “chocolates” we can understand so much about our choices every day, our tendencies and everything we are.

  245. A line from the introduction to ‘Our Guide To Creation’:
“You are entitled to do what you want and create whatever you want human life to be for you to experience the world of the 5 senses. But be aware to maintain ignorant to the greater scope of universal life, stay arrogant over the fact that you are held by the Supreme, our loving divine father, in unconditional love and free will, deny the detrimental consequences of your actions not just for yourself but everyone else and be unaware of the fact that everything is energy and the fact of the two sources of energy to choose from – then you will do fine in the diversity and richness of the cholate box. All of this is available to you for a humble contribution: Abandon your Soul for as long as possible and fight your precious cholate box to the finish. Welcome to the exclusive club of chocolatiers.”

    1. Haha love this Alexander, and, an excerpt from the last page:

“And now that there is no more you can learn about creation and how to manoeuvre it in such a way that you perpetually feed it back, please go back to page 1 and repeat as many times as possible. And remember not to be suckered into aligning to the Soul – for if you do, we will no longer be the many that make up the many, but will be forced to once again be, the many who make up the One.”

  246. Brilliant blog Michael. To come to understand that we are not only the creators of our own mess, but also the mess in the world today, can be rather challenging when first heard, but the way you have presented this makes it very hard to deny that this is actually the case. For me, it has made sense of the “eternal unsettlement” I lived with for much of my life, that was until I found my way to the common sense filled presentations of Serge Benhayon. And now that I am understanding more about creation and my part in it, the more the unsettlement eases and the feeling of settlement within my body grows.

  247. ‘Life is rich beyond measure when we don’t play mere human’ – The time comes when we have tried all the flavoured chocolates on offer and none come close to what deep down inside us we know is possible, something we have all experienced but turned away from. This blogs supports our return to that ‘knowingness’ that is and has always been there through the understanding and claiming of the truth that energy exists and the quality of that energy can and is chosen by us. Thank you Michael.

    1. So true Christine, a trial and error process of learning that no matter which chocolate we choose, there is none that matches the life that is lived from the heart.

  248. The human life we have created has many facets and is studied from this many angles and in many ways and through this thoroughness it is hard to recognise that it is all a creation of the human mind, with specs of truth though, but nonetheless delusive and only meant to keep us comfortably unaware because we can prove from all these studies that religiously, scientifically and philosophically life is only limited to this three dimensional world we have reduced our lives to be.

  249. We purposely try to avoid the truth that we are so much more then only this physical body in this three dimensional world as when we would allow that truth to become our truth we have to take the energetic responsibility and for instance in court cannot say anymore ‘I was not myself, I do not know why I did that act’.

  250. What an incredibly inspirational blog Michael. You have really deconstructed the crux of our continued (although ultimately finite) existence here on Earth that has been so championed as it being ‘IT ALL’ when in fact we come from and will be returning to so much more. Realising that we are all just choosing different flavours of the same ‘chocolate’ (which is all taking us further from our souls) is massive and I loved this part:
“…and the little mass we can claim we have is changing so frequently that we do not get a chance to retain any, and certainly could not identify ourselves with, a certain set of particles.” – This really is a mind-blowing statement (yet proven by quantum physics) that really helps break apart our illusion of us being separate individuals, but instead feeling we are actually one and the same as everyone and everything.

  251. Me again…so much to say after a delivery such as this. I love what you share about space and that we are made up of far more space than matter, considering the relationship of the electrons to the nucleus. I have never looked at it in that way before but to me it makes perfect sense in line with what Serge Benhayon has been delivering through the sermons of the Way of The Livingness; that space is not a void and empty region contained within certain parameters but more so a vast and endless field through which God/Universal Wisdom can and does consistently communicate to us and through us. Yet the reason so many of us live void of God’s song (the divinity that pulses within us) is because we have put a great deal of effort into ‘densing up’ this space by virtue of filling it with all our spirit-led creations we then champion as the ‘be all and end all’ to life on planet Earth, thus selling ourselves way short of the full multidimensional package we actually are.

    1. Ah…. you again 😉 Love this, one could say the spirit has an Obsessive Compulsive Disorder in regard to filling space with just about anything it can lay its hands on.

  252. Michael, you have delivered both as wise professor and astute student, the truth of how things are. Like a truth mathematician, there is no part you have left out of the equation in order for us to consider the truth of the reality (the box of chocolates) we have not only created, but have for centuries gorged ourselves on. A buffet of choices is but a banquet of evil if we do not choose to live in and by the stupendous love that we are.

P.s by ‘luxuriating in our own creations’ were you referring to our propensity as spirit-driven humans to wallow in the mud of our own existence high on the numbness our chosen comforts afford so that we do not go anywhere near the depth of the true beauty, ageless wisdom and unfathomable love we are and come from? 😉

A masterpiece of unpicking and unpacking – thank you. There is much here to be chewed upon.

    1. Yeah referring to something like that 🤪 A beautiful addition here Liane, and one that no one need affirm with or accept straight away, but a mere openness to the depth of what is on offer would go a long way to expanding our self-styled tunnel vision.

  253. What a brilliant example with life being a ‘box of chocolates’ when we allow external influences to guide our choices – we may think we’re choosing something different, but, energetically it’s coming from the same source, the suppression of who we truly are. When we connect within, our Soul also has one energetic source, love, which only offers the truth of who we are.

  254. ‘With our newfound understanding of ‘everything is energy,’ we could say that behind each of the above examples there is actually much more at play than the mundaneness (or not so in the case of a crime scene) of the physical behaviour.’ – accepting this and allowing ourselves to read the energy first in everything that is going on around us is how we see and know the truth.

  255. What creation has chosen feels so much more complicated than how it actually is. But it is not that simple—the choosing part is simple but the re-correction part is needed and a deep commitment and purpose to get on with if. Then again, the whole universe is behind us to support.

  256. Wow, that makes so much sense and I especially appreciate the expression, “if everything is energy energy matters”. Your article demonstrates that we have perennially chosen the box of chocolates in exchange for the grandness of the universe. I wonder why?

    1. I love this bit too for if ‘everything is energy’ then it stands that matter is comprised of energy and that this energy matters!

  257. I always liked chocolate so the saying that life is like a box of chocolates sounds pretty positive to me since I liked pretty much every flavour when it was good quality. In fact, life is so good that even chocolate pales against that experience.

  258. Michael, this is such an absolutely beautiful and accurate account of what we have chosen and/or accepted for ourselves, all within the vast grandness constantly all around us, standing as a reminder and invitation to come back to the truth of our innate and divinely made, love-filled selves.

  259. “…we have created a world overflowing with all our varying flavours of chocolates where we can indulge at a moment’s notice.” Indulge is the key word here – when you meet someone who isn’t living that indulgent way of life, ie Serge Benhayon, it makes you take stock of your life, it brings an honesty to your choices and exposes our way of living.

  260. As a humanity, we have indeed “… become so comfortable with and have made a gospel out of using such a contracted and limited version of life” that we don’t even realise we are living it until someone like Serge Benhayon comes along and offers a different reflection – one we all recognise if we are totally honest with ourselves.

  261. There is definitely more to life than meets the eye and knowing everything is because of evenly enables us to understand more of our world and how it is, the hard part we have difficulty with is knowing that we are the creators of our own misery and it is only we who can turn it all around.

    1. Everything being because of energy makes it very clear that matter comes second, energy first. What we see and deal with is always the consequence of something that has preceded it.

  262. The understanding of what the chocolate truly represents (the illusion we have chosen to foster) and the knowing that we can actually put the box down and live without its saccharine sweetness is huge to realise. Thank you Michael for deconstructing the box in such a dedicated way.

  263. “Life is rich beyond measure when we don’t play mere human.” The true dimensions of which have yet to be fully appreciated, as we gradually become more and more aware of the immense intelligence and wisdom that resides within us and every particle of our being.

  264. What an awesome blog describing current human life, and using the analogy of a box of chocolates to describe creation. No matter what chocolate we choose, as long as it’s from the box of chocolates, it’s all ‘same, same.’

The teachings of Serge Benhayon and the Ageless Wisdom are so simply presented here, bringing this back to the grandness of the multidimensionality we all truly are, and are from.

    1. That box of chocolate might be a metaphor in this blog but in reality it is one of the favourites people go to if things become a little to hard and the suffering of the life in creation is resulting into.

    2. Yes, we are so addicted to our favourite ‘chocolate’ that we are not even willing to consider that there is something different and so much more, bringing true and lasting joy rather than a quick fix that leaves you empty and craving the next hit.

      1. The box of chocolates is the metaphor of our indulgence in the taste of creation, and like chocolates anything we do in creation will only give a short lasting shot of excitement in the body but then leaving it more empty and craving for more – more – more.

    3. Awesome blog indeed. The box of chocolate analogy shows us that once we have our hands in creation we lose ourselves in the illusion and thinking that we have choices but these choices are only limited to what’s in the box. No wonder we are seeing extreme behaviours in humanity, by reducing our multidimensionality to such an extent results in huge tension and disharmony.
