We would like to share the experience of our involvement with Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine not only from our own perspectives, but that of us as a couple, a union and a team. To share how invaluable the work and presentations of Serge and Universal Medicine have been in our life, and to the success of our relationship.
We both met Serge some twelve years ago, what he shared then and to this day has been profound yet simple at the same time: what he presents just makes sense. We had both been in a series of relationships, and both had the same underlying dissatisfaction: in our hearts knowing there had to be more to life than this, more to love than what we were meeting. And we were both putting a lot into those relationships. In hindsight we can say that that “the lot we were putting” in, was a lot of emotion. Not necessarily the key ingredient for a truly vital and harmonious relationship. The point being, that we were both certain that a love greater and more enduring than what we had found was a possibility. We just hadn’t found the way to have that yet; the way to live that. But we did not give up, knowing that it was there to be found.
And it was in the beautiful, yet simple presentations by Serge that this truth was once again revealed, and opened up for us to live.
In a time now when accusations come claiming Serge and the work of Universal Medicine destroys relationships, we are here to say that without the presentations from Serge, the amazing tools of how to be with life, how to be with love, we would not be here together as the beautiful partnership we are. Serge is a true role model: we have felt true inspiration from him, and have enormous thanks for the love he consistently presents. This love is without judgment; it is truly supportive without pandering, encouraging – without expectation, demand or coercion.
He has always presented and never preached. In fact it is within this attitude that we are left to deal with our own challenges, as to whether we can stay with our own love or not. And this is in truth the real guts of what Serge presents: in understanding the truth of that which is love and that which is not, it begs the question: Can we accept RESPONSIBILITY for how we have lived our lives? How we are living our lives! If you cannot, it is very easy to turn away, which we are all free to do. And of course at times some of us have, but how unpleasant it is to return to a life lived without being connected to the essence of who we are, when we have had the experience of feeling that essence, a truth that is so simple and allows us to feel the fact that we are all equal in that.
In a world where common sense does not seem to prevail anymore, the teachings that Serge shares, that have aeons-long lineage in history, make more sense than anything else currently available. These teachings and the practical application of them via a lovingly disciplined approach, when committed to, make for a true and loving way to be. The suggestion that what Serge presents breaks up relationships, can, from our understanding, only suggest that this attitude comes from an unwillingness to care, an unwillingness to love, an unwillingness to change, and of course an unwillingness to take RESPONSIBILITY. Because the truth of what he presents when lived, can only bring us to a deeper connection with ourselves, and a greater understanding of others; and anyone in relationship with us will feel the quality of that.
Yes, people close may notice changes in us, but there is not a thing about how we have changed, how we are living, that they could say is harming anyone.
The esoteric philosophy of the teachings and presentations of Universal Medicine not only offer tools for a life to be well-lived, but also a true understanding of the meaning and purpose of life: which by the way, who in this world doesn’t, if not loudly, quietly wonder about? Through living these teachings we have been able to apply change in our lives which do away with harming behaviours and ways of being.
For both of us, we had experienced the highs and lows of life through the story of multiple relationships, the highs being the ‘excitement’ of life, and the lows being the ’emotion, stress and drama’ of life; and life was lived via the passion or doldrum of these experiences. So to learn of a way to live and be in relationship with ourselves which is honestly caring and nurturing, and to extend that care and the commitment of that to each other, feels like a totally expanded and limitless way of being together, which is in stark contrast to the limited and contracted way that our previous relationships were operating under.
The teachings present for us the opportunity to consider the necessity for consistent, honest, open and truthful communication, to support each other to work through things that may hold us back from being the truth of who we are. Communication that allows us to work through issues: communication that, held by love, wants only for the other to meet and be the potential of who they are. Learning and forever developing how to be this way in relationship, has revealed that yes, making love is in our expression in the moment to moment ways of being and sharing together; not a title reserved for the act of making love, which of course then is far different to the act of having sex.
A life lived without society’s norms of alcohol, drugs and other stimulants, which we had previously been very much a part of, leaves us at times having to feel our vulnerabilities, and of course this is at first challenging. However, we both would not ever turn back to the way of life we knew before.
This way of living, combined with the true understanding of life’s purpose, makes for a truly meaningful way to be with life. And for this understanding we have Serge Benhayon, his family, and Universal Medicine to thank for sharing with us all equally.

This does feel like an expanded way of being in relationship together, ‘ a way to live and be in relationship with ourselves which is honestly caring and nurturing, and to extend that care and the commitment of that to each other, feels like a totally expanded and limitless way of being together’.
It is that simple, what Serge Benhayon shares makes sense, yet is profound, ‘what he shared then and to this day has been profound yet simple at the same time: what he presents just makes sense’.
“A life lived without society’s norms of alcohol, drugs and other stimulants, which we had previously been very much a part of, leaves us at times having to feel our vulnerabilities, and of course this is at first challenging.” How little do we hear the word ‘vulnerabilities’, or are open to considering our own? It’s easy to judge people for their behaviours or feel confused, however underneath it all are our vulnerabilities, sensitivities and ways that we feel that we haven’t been taught to consider or care for, rather to hide and put on a face that we are tough, strong, have it all together, or are doing well. How much more beautiful life would be if we were all open to our vulnerabilities and discussed them freely, with the intent of caring for ourselves and others?
What Serge Benhayon presents simply exposes the truth and lies about where we are in every corner of our life and relationship is just one of them. If, as a result, love becomes our choice then it would inevitably bring changes to the way we live, and that I feel is a very welcome change.
When it gets to relationships and break ups, what Serge Benhayon presents, if resorted to honouring what was given to us, only points to breaking up with a pattern of movements that only bring us the Misery Road.
What Serge Benhayon offers with his presentations is an invitation to deepen in the love we already are. That process, when lived honestly, gives us the opportunity to focus and let go everything which is not love in our life. After that, yes, there is a change, an undeniable transformation that blossoms in the awesome beings we are here meant to be.
A way of being together that is true, and loving, ‘ to learn of a way to live and be in relationship with ourselves which is honestly caring and nurturing, and to extend that care and the commitment of that to each other, feels like a totally expanded and limitless way of being together’.
Drama and emotional turmoil is addictive, it can tell us we are alive. Love doesn’t have drama in it, so there is one version of love we have taken as our normal, and there is another version of Love that is calling us back to who we are, what we are made of and where we are from which doesn’t have an ounce of drama in it.
Perhaps it is the responsibility that is what we avoid because once we start to take responsibility we feel we will be the one being named shamed and blamed? There must be something that stops us taking responsibility because so few really embrace that concept.
It is imperative to not give up as when we stay committed change will come even when things seem very desperate.
Gabe and Anette you are an inspiration for so many people, whether they are in a relationship or not. You are both open and willing to share your relationship and experiences with everyone and through this offer others much needed support.
I had a gorgeous conversation with a close relative this week about the card with a quote from Serge Benhayon that stands on the table and says: Making love is being you and doing what you do. She was puzzled and said with ‘making love I think about having sex, but this is so much more and broadens it to everything we do during the day’. And I absolutely agreed with her.
‘Through living these teachings we have been able to apply change in our lives which do away with harming behaviours and ways of being.’ I absolutely agree because I have become more responsible for my own choices and how those choices affect others, which has only enhanced my relationships, because I understand my own responsibility and as a result I am far more honest and loving.
‘And it was in the beautiful, yet simple presentations by Serge that this truth was once again revealed, and opened up for us to live.’ The presentations by Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine present the truth we all know deep within us, and it is through the presentations that we remind ourselves how beautiful it is to live from the openness of the love that we are.
Anyone us of us get into a relationship from a different place, enters in a relationship for different reasons, experiences something different, helps to generate a different situation, endures different situations and faces different problems and dilemmas. To navigate the waters of relationships is not an easy task. To navigate the waters of relationships from a place of truth is even harder and is not always honky dory. Relations may deepen, may sink. If this is the result of truth, so be it, whatever it is.
‘whether we can stay with our own love or not’ and that’s it … if we’re not willing to stay with our own love we cannot be love with another, and at times this may be challenging and exposing of our vulnerabilities, but it’s a journey worth making for all of us no matter any wobbles we may have along the way, for it brings us back to who we are.
‘…we both would not ever turn back to the way of life we knew before.’ Neither would I, Annette and Gabe. Neither would I.
There is so much to be gained through the teachings of Universal Medicine and Serge Benhayon, and when applied, as you describe, it opens us up to a forever deepening relationship with ourself and everybody else.
Yep, what a testimonial and a debunking of the lies that have been spun in the media for the sake of a story. This to me feels like you live every day absolutely honouring each other and your relationship. Would not everyone agree that we need more relationships like this, rather than the fake ones we are presented with everyday on social media?
Healthy relationships are founded on open honest communication that allows us to support and complement each other and encourage our ongoing growth and evolution.
Such a powerful sharing this is. Thank you. “In understanding the truth of that which is love and that which is not, it begs the question: Can we accept RESPONSIBILITY for how we have lived our lives? How we are living our lives!” – this really clarifies the choice many of us make and why – unawareness and irresponsibility.
“In hindsight we can say that that “the lot we were putting” in, was a lot of emotion.” . . . I had a little chuckle here as it reminded me of my highly emotional family of origin in which we women of the family thought ourselves somewhat superior to the men as we could really express our emotions especially after a glass or two of wine! And did so often. . . wondering why it sent my father up to his room where he would stay until we had finished ‘expressing’. Thanks to Universal Medicine I have been inspired to express in a whole new way that is not in an emotion reaction! . . . well most of the time anyway.
“And it was in the beautiful, yet simple presentations by Serge that this truth was once again revealed, and opened up for us to live.” Serge Benhayon presents the Ageless Wisdom of who we truly are and where we come from and the energetic responsibility to live all the love that we are.
Talk about a ‘successful’ relationship in so many ways and with that inspiring others by what you reflect together. We can never blame another for what we choose or not to bring to a relationship.
No, yet we are so used to that being the way that we have forgotten how to take responsibility for our part in it. How willing are we to be the change we want to see in our lives?
Exactly, yet we are so used to that being the way and blaming everyone else, that we have forgotten how to take responsibility for our part in it. How willing are we to be the change we want to see in our lives?
The teachings Serge presents do make more sense than anything else out there, he is consistently presenting and being love, and when the teachings are lived they ‘make for a true and loving way to be’.
“understanding the truth of that which is love and that which is not” So simple but so profound.
“In a time now when accusations come claiming Serge and the work of Universal Medicine destroys relationships, we are here to say that without the presentations from Serge, the amazing tools of how to be with life, how to be with love, we would not be here together as the beautiful partnership we are.”
I completely echo these sentiments regarding my beautiful marriage.
I have been married to my gorgeous husband for over 23 years and it just keeps getting better and better and better. The love we now share is something I didn’t even know was possible, well I did know in my inner heart but had never experienced it before I met Serge Benahyon and was shown a living example of true love. Humongous thanks to Serge who has greatly inspired and supported us – to say he splits up relationships or anything like that is simply a lie.
Anyone that knows you Gabe and Annette are always blown away by the level of connection and deep love you both share not only with each other but with everyone equally. Your blog is a beautiful testimony to Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine teachings and the support and true love offered that allows us to build a foundation of love with ourselves first and how this allows the space and grace for any relationship to deepen and evolve.
I totally agree, Anna. Gabe and Annette are most wondrous couple, an inspiration and a tremendous support to so many.
I can relate to the certainty of knowing there was a greater love in relationship than how I was living and this knowing never goes away. It constantly knocks on the door inviting me to go deeper in my expression in relationship and therefore bring a greater love to all my relationships.
There is a simplicity in what you share. instead of going into position and charge when meeting the world you stop and reflect and look within yourself to let go of the hurts that want to let you go into defence and protection, this then allows for more understanding and openess to be in the world.
Knowing you both it is obvious that you are not only a blessing to each other but a blessing to the whole world. You share your love and understanding with all and you have supported me to be in the first truly loving relationship I’ve ever been in. Thank you both.
And what beacons of light you both have become as a result, offering the reflection of true relationship to all.
A very beautiful sharing that exposed the falsities of what has been in the media. The changes that have occurred in your own relationship and the way that you support other people now with all types of relationships is a true testament to the work of Serge Benhayon. This is the work of our future and we are all learning to live in the way of our future and honest and harmonious relationships are very much part of this.
Feeling your essence and living from that is key to relationships. As I have understood from my own renewed awareness via Universal Medicine and Serge Benhayon, living with drama and emotions is living from the false ideal of what love is. “Because the truth of what he presents when lived, can only bring us to a deeper connection with ourselves, and a greater understanding of others; and anyone in relationship with us will feel the quality of that.” The relationship is first and foremost with your essence and to share that with another.
“The point being, that we were both certain that a love greater and more enduring than what we had found was a possibility. We just hadn’t found the way to have that yet; the way to live that. But we did not give up, knowing that it was there to be found.”
It is this deep knowing within that brought me to the work of Serge Benhayon. To have this knowing confirmed and be offered as a way of living that is not only possible, but already lived by Serge and his family was a moment of coming home.
It’s crazy that a disgruntled few are pointing the finger at Serge Benhayon for relationships ending. For me, it has been very significant to start building a relationship with myself, in love and honesty with who I am, and all the relationships around me are only benefiting, no matter what they look like on the outside.
It’s so true Annette and Gabe, when we put emotion, stress and drama into our relationships how can we expect to get anything else but emotion, stress and drama out of them?
There is so much to read in this blog, through it all I can see how you have continued to develop and deepen the relationship you have with love and with each other. As you so simply state, there is no harm to another because the love is equally for others as it is for each other.
A stunning blog written from a lived knowing of the power of the teachings and presentations of Universal Medicine that can indeed be felt… for as you said when the truth of what is presented is lived, it can only bring a deeper connection with ourselves and an understanding of others, and through this a quality that is felt by all for the truth it emanates.
We are love first before we are anything else. How great then is our responsibility to live this love in our every breath so that all whom we come in contact with know they are also of this great love. By virtue of their lived way, Annette and Gabe are able to show us that there is a way to truly connect with everyone we have a relationship with, free from the cords of attachment and need that usually so bind us.
Being this tender, caring and open with someone else can be quite scary in the beginning but it’s well worth it and truth be that this is what we truly want. It’s just that the way we have been needs to shift and this can feel very exposing and sometimes we put a bit of stubbornness into it but it’s worth letting love in again. And I’m learning this as well.
“People close may notice changes in us, but there is not a thing about how we have changed, how we are living, that they could say is harming anyone.” – in fact the changes made in line with the teachings from Universal Medicine do just healing. That is from my experiences here.
“So to learn of a way to live and be in relationship with ourselves which is honestly caring and nurturing, and to extend that care and the commitment of that to each other, feels like a totally expanded and limitless way of being together . . .” for me it feels like this way should be the only way we all should live together!
Thankyou again Gabe and Annette for your blog. Today during my read I saw the absurdity of the accusations against Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine at a whole new level – they do not split up relationships. The basis of Universal Medicine’s work for me has also been connecting to my essence, nurturing, loving and appreciating me, and from that I have more love to share with others. This has been my experience and my own relationship has deepened and strengthened – thankyou Serge Benhayon for all the support you have offered. The flip side of this was how I lived before the work that Universal Medicine presents, where I was disconnected to my essence and feeling empty, not living self love and being very emotional, needy and dependant on my partner in unhealthy ways. In both ways of relating I was making the choices and responsible, but my relationship has profoundly changed for the better thanks to the support offered by Universal Medicine. To me to put blame onto Universal Medicine for anything really shows the irresponsible foundation people already live with their relationships.
“The esoteric philosophy of the teachings and presentations of Universal Medicine not only offer tools for a life to be well-lived, but also a true understanding of the meaning and purpose of life:” And with this understanding comes the responsibility to be open and honest with ourselves and in all our relationships. Serge Benhayon has inspired me to appreciate the love that I am and to share this love with others. My relationship with myself, my husband, family, friends and everyone I meet has blossomed since I have been listening to and applying the teachings of Universal Medicine.
A beautiful read, capturing the fact that the teachings available through Universal Medicine are in no way prescriptive and that we are not only ‘left to deal with our own challenges’ and choose ‘whether we can stay with our own love or not’, but also – and with absolute choice – whether or not we wish to reflect on the level of true responsibility we have been taking for the way we have lived and are living our lives.
Thank you very much for sharing what a relationship is really about, it is all about caring and loving ourself and true communication in all of life, and all that comes up along the way.
Gabe and Annette I don’t know you personally but I have enjoyed your presentations and to me you are an inspirational couple who show what a truly loving relationship looks like.
Well said… the amount of love that enters a relationship isn’t left to chance or finding the ‘one’. Instead it is our ability to let love into the relationship. But for love to enter what is not love has to leave thereby all our issues we have tries to hide come up. This means our responsibility to be open and communicating is so important.
Very beautiful to read Annette and Gabe. I liked reading this bit (amoungst all of it) ” A life lived without society’s norms of alcohol, drugs and other stimulants, which we had previously been very much a part of, leaves us at times having to feel our vulnerabilities, and of course this is at first challenging. However, we both would not ever turn back to the way of life we knew before.” that’s exactly how it is. But to be able to feel and grow openly with another, held in the love you are is incredible to experience. And this can be done with anyone- intermit partner or not. I have learnt so much over the years from the inspiration that you two are. I’m not sure what would have happened if you two weren’t as committed and loving to eachother as you are, and if Serge and Universal Medicine hadn’t been such a support.
“Live and be in relationship with ourselves which is honestly caring and nurturing, and to extend that care and the commitment of that to each other, feels like a totally expanded and limitless way of being together” – this is very inspiring and makes absolute sense that my relationship with myself forms the foundation for any other relationship I have with others.
Annette and Gabe you are an absolute living proof of how a relationship can truly blossom from being a total mess, by taking responsibility and a lot of dedication and committment to love. You are inspiring me everyday.
A relationship founded on True Love, this is truly “Universal Medicine.”
Love it Barbara.
“….making love is in our expression in the moment to moment ways of being and sharing together; not a title reserved for the act of making love….” Annette and Gabe, this is the depth of absolute beauty and commitment I feel from your words. The choice to be all the love you are, and to bring to, and share that love with each other in the fullness of that, moment to moment. This is profound, deeply touching and truly inspiring, thank you.
It was great to read this a couple of years down the track since you wrote it Annette, and to have had the joy of seeing both of you recently and noting you going even deeper in your relationship with each other. So gorgeous to see and feel and inspiring as well. Thank you for being the gorgeous women you are.
Thank you for the example you have set about being in a true relationship, it was a joy to read your blog
Annette and Gabe – what I could feel as I was reading your article was that there was no holding back in your commitment to bringing all of yourselves to everything you do, say and ‘be’. Profoundly beautiful, thank you.
I’ve seen many relationships blossom due to the work of Serge Benhayon, and that was because of the choices people made to become more loving and work at it. In all cases of relationships it comes down to the choices people make, which they are always responsible for. Pointing the finger at Serge is just a another way to avoid looking at choices and take responsibility.
Thank you Annette, Gabe and Melinda, I agree, responsibility for our choices to be a loving partner is obviously too much for some.
Well said Melinda. It’s all us, what we choose and our choice to take responsibility or not.
Hear hear – well said Annette and Gabe, I would not know about true love if it wasn’t for Serge Benhayon who presented a different way to live.
I woulnd´t either Lieke and by inspiration of Serge Benhayon I am still discovering in every corner of my life what true love is…
This was truly a beautiful and heartfelt sharing that shows the true inspiration offered by Serge Benhayon and all he presents. I could feel in what you wrote that the connection to both yourselves as individuals and as a couple has deepened based upon what you have applied from these presentations and the change has been powerful. Thank you for sharing your inspiring story.
Such a beautiful sharing, the deep connection and love you live everyday is very inspiring to us all.
Your relationship is an inspiration Annette and Gabe- the depth of love and care you have with each other and the way you are with all others- that is a life worth living.
A beautiful blog Gabe and Annette – your relationship is a continuous inspiration for all who know you.
We live in a world where common sense does not seem to prevail anymore, so why is that I wonder? Using our common sense and listening to what we know is true, from our body, is not being reflected to us in today’s society, yet it is something so simple. As a humanity we seem lost and we have made life into a web of complexity, where we live from our mind. What Serge Benhayon presents is in fact common sense and a truth we all carry within.
“…communication that, held by love, wants only for the other to meet and be the potential of who they are” There is so much within these words. How beautiful a relationship can be when you do not need another to change to meet your needs. When you can simply accept another as they are knowing that they are divine at their core and deserve to live their full potential.
I agree Leonne. To accept without judgement is divine.
Annette and Gabe thank you for sharing your experiences of how the teachings presented by Serge Benhayon has supported you both to develop a truly living and commited relationship.
Through the teachings of Universal Medicine I have been able to take more responsibility for how I am in relationships when in the past I would only look at what the other persons part was and blame them for any issues. This is just one simple aspect of what Serge Benhayon has taught which has had a huge impact on my life, on my relationship with my partner, family, friends and colleagues. If I was not able to be responsible for my part to play I would not be with my partner now, and I doubt I would be in my job now, yet I suspect I would still be stuck in the same behaviours in other relationships.
Gabe and Annette, what you share and what you present every moment of the day by what you both live is utterly and completely gorgeous — your dedication to having a true relationship, to letting yourselves be deeply vulnerable, letting go of all the shields that so often we hold on to, is a huge inspiration for us all. Heart-felt thank you for showing the way :-).
well said Simonwilliams8*.
This is a beautiful blog that will inspire many who feel that the love between them and their partner can be greater and more enduring than what they currently share, yet without support they are somewhat resigned to what they have. It is just gorgeous that you never gave up and have consistently deepened your love and care for yourselves and then extended that to your relationship. I absolutely loved where you wrote that you have developed what you now share through the Universal Medicine teachings that present the way to a true relationship is through ‘Communication that allows us to work through issues: Communication that, held by love, wants only for the other to meet and be the potential of who they are’. A beautiful lesson for all.
“The suggestion that what Serge presents breaks up relationships, can, from our understanding, only suggest that this attitude comes from an unwillingness to care, an unwillingness to love, an unwillingness to change, and of course an unwillingness to take RESPONSIBILITY” – this sums up the truth in a nutshell, thank you.
Yes, Carmin, well said; what Serge Benhayon presents is so immensely supportive to all relationships, not just marriage/partner relationships – and of course starting with our relationship with ourselves firstly. No other presenter has made so much sense to me in my life so far, and helped me achieve a much healthier way to live in every way.
Gosh, thank you for highlighting that bit Carmin. It’s a pure bombshell. Truth in a nutshell indeed.
I agree Annette and Gabe, anyone who states that Universal Medicine breaks up relationships, can only be someone that has “….an unwillingness to care, an unwillingness to love, an unwillingness to change, and of course an unwillingness to take RESPONSIBILITY”. The teachings of Serge Benhayon on relationship have deepened not only my relationship to my husband, but to my family, friends, neighbours and in fact humanity at large. If the principles of these teachings were applied by more people there would be no basis for fighting, war or any kind of violence.
A beautiful reflection on ‘Relationships’ – and the willingness to open to change, explore, develop and renew being in connection with self and others, I loved your comment -‘The teachings present for us the opportunity to consider the necessity for consistent, honest, open and truthful communication, to support each other to work through things that may hold us back from being the truth of who we are’. To live this statement can be very confronting and ask one to be vulnerable and exposed. For me, I have lived much of my life in fear of being rejected and so to live this statement has called on some very deep honesty. Everyday as I come to truly know what lays within, who I truly am – a strength, confidence and power is being discovered. Thank you to Serge Benhayon and the Universal Medicine Teachings for supporting me to connect to my own wisdom and live that in the world.
Thank you Annette and Gabe for a beautiful and loving sharing. ” So to learn of a way to live and be in relationship which is honestly caring and nurturing, and to extend that care and commitment to that of each other, feels a totally expanded and limitless way of being together..” I feel you both are living this , and you are a beautiful inspiration to other couples. Thank you.
Thank you, Annette and Gabe, for writing this article. It’s amazing to read how you have trusted and committed to the love that was greater than what you had previously known, and now you are in a position to share and support the others that are making the same choice. Such an inspiration.
Having been invited at your table to have lunch together was a live confirmation of what you share in this blog. The love that you live as a couple is so firm and wide and you are so sexy together, that it’s hard not to fall in love with you immediately –
I’m sure when I fall, I will be held by your love.
How beautifully expressed Felix ! I know exactly what you mean- I enjoy every minute with these two ladies- they emanate such a naturalness to be so loving and caring for each other. I fell in love long time ago already 🙂
I love this blog. There is something worth re-stating: Serge Benhayon consistently presents a way of love that is pretty much unheard of (This love is without judgment; it is truly supportive without pandering, encouraging – without expectation, demand or coercion). Changing gears on how we relate to love is not always easy. Yet, you are a living example that it is entirely possible and desirable. Serge is in every way a great support to relationships and never a factor against them.
Thank you Annette and Gabe for such an inspirational blog , and for the beautiful reflection you give out to us in your livingness.
The Cardio-Centric way you both are now living, is deeply inspiring. Thank you Anette and Gabe for sharing this.
Thank you Gabe and Annette for sharing this. I also felt “in our hearts knowing there had to be more to life than this, more to love than what we were meeting.” in a number of relationships and it was only in recent years that I’ve understood that if I don’t build a relationship and love with myself then how can I love another? or why should I expect that love from another? School and Society do not prepare us to have loving relationships with ourself let alone another – a vital part of life we can then all miss out on.
So true David. Relationships are a vital and everyday part of life and we aren’t taught or reminded to love ourselves first so that we can bring this love and care to our relationships. Thank God for Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine and these simple yet profound teachings about life and love.
‘These teachings and the practical application of them via a lovingly disciplined approach, when committed to, make for a true and loving way to be.’ Thank you for sharing your love and commitment to Serge’s teachings and each other which shines through your writing. Such an awesome and ever-expanding inspiration of what is possible.
Wow what an awesome blog 🙂 Your understanding and appreciation for life and each other is palpable. I love how you explain the way you live: ‘to learn of a way to live and be in relationship with ourselves which is honestly caring and nurturing, and to extend that care and the commitment of that to each other, feels like a totally expanded and limitless way of being together.’ There is a huge difference between putting energy into the emotional strains of life and putting that same energy into deeply caring for ourselves, our partners and ultimately everyone around us, and I am incredibly thankful to Serge Benhayon for showing me this too.
In this post I love the simplicity and the common sense approach, presented to us so clearly by Universal Medicine and lived by you both. How much simpler can it get that to live a loving relationship you do no harm to yourself or anybody else.
Thank you Gabe and Annette for your very powerful and truly loving sharing of your growing love for yourselves and in your relationship. I know you both to be living all that you have learned by the inspiration and support of Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine and in turn you have become true role models for many others. I have been wisely and lovingly counselled by you both and your integrity and support has been enormously helpful. Your loving commitment to yourselves and each other is inspiring and beautiful to feel. Kate Greenaway, Australia
Hear, hear – well said.
Your true-love for each other is deeply felt through your words here and also through your expressions the times I see you. The relationship you have from your commitment to first yourselves and then equally within your relationship to nurture and evolve it towards an even grander love, is a wonderful picture of inspiration. Thank you showing what is possible….
Wow, I feel a book coming on…!! Your post is so much appreciated and deeply felt in truth and experience. And this is only the beginning…
A beauty-full sharing from a beauty-full, love-full couple! A joy to know you both and to laugh with you both. Thank you for sharing your journey in and with love and how the presentations of Serge Benhayon have enhanced your relationship. What an awesome couple to have relationship counselling with, should you ever feel the call! 🙂
Dear Annette and Gabe, Thank you for sharing this.
To touch on a couple of the points you made: “… how unpleasant it is to return to a life lived without being connected to the essence of who we are, when we have had the experience of feeling that essence” – which we all have. If you don’t know, in your adult life what it is to re-connect to who you are, the life you live can be aching for what you remember from childhood, or blocking out the same. And once re-turned to one’s true self – to turn away again means a life of abject pain – knowingly hurting oneself and by extension, all that you meet. For me this experience was self-limiting – because not only did my relationships suffer, but that of my own health and well being as well.
Thus your comment of Serge’s “teachings and the practical application of them via a lovingly disciplined approach, when committed to, make for a true and loving way to be” is very touching, and something I am beginning to understand in its pure simplicity.
“and anyone in relationship with us will feel the quality of that” – and yes, we can 🙂
And how delicious it is.
My thanks also to Serge and all associated with Universal Medicine for being loving examples of how life can truly be.
With love, Stephanie
Stephanie, thanks for highlighting the point in Annette and Gabe’s blog that “and anyone in relationship with us will feel the quality in that”. Having known Annette and Gabe for a number of years now, I can say the changes they have made to their relationship have indeed been amazing. The quality of that certainly can be felt and it is an inspiration.
I know this beautiful couple, and can say that they have a loving relationship that is an inspiration to all who know them. It is not an exclusive love that they keep to themselves, but a love that they share with their friends and work colleagues equally. Their lives have a fullness that only comes when you know who you truly are and live from that.
Thank you Annette and Gabe for sharing this.
Your deep appreciation is clearly felt through your writing, but what also comes through so strongly is your commitment to as you say: “the necessity for consistent, honest, open and truthful communication” in relationship with each other. Yes, a responsibility that some will understandably react to and shy away from, but at present you represent the ‘reality’ of what is possible. What an inspiration. Thank you.
Amazing to see and feel the impact of some simply truth has done to your relationship, Thank You for sharing this.
Annette & Gabe…you are both a true testament & inspiration of a loving relationship.
And I so agree with all that you have said about Serge Benhayon & Universal Medicine. Not only is what Universal Medicine presents simple, but it works when applied to the everyday livingness. My life has changed profoundly since studying with them…you cant argue with that!
It is so wonder-full being amongst a community of people that, to the best of their ability, are willing to be truth-full, look at their ‘stuff’, and are interested in caring for self and others. Who wouldn’t want to live in a world with more of this (I say smiling with my hand up).
Gabe & Annette, having known you both for sometime I can testify ‘whole-heartedly’ to that which you write about. The love and care you have for your selves has been blooming for sometime now due to your enduring and loving commitment to live a truer way. This has also shown itself in the way that your relationship is so genuine and true and filled with absolute joy and grace, it brings tears of joy to me just to feel it. You both are a true inspiration to me and have afforded me great friendship and guidance through out my own learnings and unfolding. Thank you for sharing your insights and understandings, I know you live this and it is felt by many. I love you both very much.
a true friend in appreciation & love, Lee
