Universal Medicine – A student looks back…

by Barbara Horne

My Life before Universal Medicine?

Ever felt… “What’s the meaning of having this life anyway?”
OR even worse – thinking that you do know what it’s all about, and everything is still crap?
OR maybe you are like me and just didn’t want to know because that would mean a level of responsibility that we are just not ready for yet? That is, maybe my life was not so great because I was the one making it not so great?…

In Response to ‘The Echo’ article

In response to receiving letters of support from Universal Medicine students, such as this one below, The EchoNet Daily have shown that journalistic integrity is still alive. They have decided to research the facts and write a more balanced article [‘It’s a Smear Campaign: Health-Group Leader’, Jul 26th, 2012, EchoNet Daily].

A response to the article on Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine:

What a missed opportunity for you, Louis and staff reporters. I feel if you had read and not just copied the other articles from previous days’ papers, but had taken the time to read all the comments and replies to them, you may have felt to write a completely different piece. Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine are all about responsibility and integrity. Is it not true that it is also the media’s responsibility to offer the same level  of responsibility and integrity? I do not feel you have applied this to your reporting. Continue reading “In Response to ‘The Echo’ article”

True Representation: The Origins, Training and Practice of the Esoteric Breast Massage

by Sara Williams, International EBM Co-ordinator, UK

In our support of Esoteric Breast Massage as a Complementary Healing Modality we are posting this article below by Sara Williams, the International EBM Co-ordinator and Practitioner.

The Esoteric Breast Massage (EBM) is Universal Medicine’s specialised healing modality FOR WOMEN ONLY and only ever PRACTISED BY WOMEN.

From early 2000 to 2007, Serge Benhayon, Founder and Director of Universal Medicine, observed in his clinical practice an increasing and all too common state of being in women’s bodies that was far from being truly well, vital and healthy, but rather one that carried an imposed imbalance which was causing much disarray in their body both physically and emotionally. In 2007 in Australia and then 2008 in the UK, Serge Benhayon invited a small group of experienced ‘female’ esoteric healing practitioners to train in a new modality that would support women to at first recognise and feel this imbalance. The new modality was the Esoteric Breast Massage and it set out to present an opportunity for a woman to recognise that there is a natural way of honouring herself in her relationship with her body and with respect to her breasts that she can re-connect to at any time. And that any woman can re-learn to live from the honouring of this way, a ‘way’ already known within every woman. The Truth about Esoteric Breast Massage

We are including here a statement from an accredited practitioner of the Esoteric Breast Massage to help dispel the media sensationalism and outright lies that are currently circulating in the press. Women’s health is a very sensitive and delicate area and the treatment of this topic in the media is something we can’t abide. We trust you will get a more balanced view by reading the following:

“I am the Co-ordinator of the Esoteric Breast Massage for the Northern Rivers N.S.W and one of the Australian Trainers. This modality has only ever been done by women for women. All the practitioners have a very high level of integrity, responsibility and commitment with their own development, they attend ongoing monthly training and support sessions and yearly assessments. They are all fully accredited and insured. Continue reading “The Truth about Esoteric Breast Massage”

Serge Benhayon – Presents what he Lives, it’s just that Simple

I find it interesting and somewhat amazing that Serge Benhayon could be accused in a recent article in the Sydney Morning Herald (22nd July 2012: “‘Cult’ Cures on Medicare” – Heath Aston) and the Brisbane Times (22nd July 2012: “‘Da Vinci reincarnated? ‘I agree, it sounds absurd’” – Heath Aston) of being a ‘Cult-Leader’ and that his ‘followers’ are known to call him ‘The One’. Over the last few years I have paid to attend most of Serge’s presentations and workshops and never have I heard anyone in attendance call him ‘The One’. He is just plain Serge. There is no arrogance, no bravado, just innate warmth that does not waver. What he does actually claim is that we are all ‘The One’ and are thus equally responsible and empowered to make our own life choices. Serge presents what he lives and the public can take it or leave it. It is just that simple. Continue reading “Serge Benhayon – Presents what he Lives, it’s just that Simple”

An Unparalleled Commitment to Truth

When I first attended a lecture given by Serge Benhayon in London 7 years ago, I sat there as a University educated, self-confessed logical thinker, sensibly questioning and intelligent person, who had been pursuing a lifelong interest in the improvement of people’s well-being through education, employment opportunities, along with emotional and physical healing practices. I had worked for public and private enterprise, for government, companies and for myself. I subsequently reacted to the limitations in conventional medicine by establishing a 13 year career in Shiatsu and healing practices steeped in Asian philosophy, Buddhism, Yoga and meditation, that encompassed training and practice in Australia, Japan and finally the UK.

Along the way I used my considerable drive and willpower on my body to explore a large number of the ‘alternative’ health practices on offer, so that by the time I sat at this lecture, I sat proudly with my toned personal trainer type body, fresh off my bicycle, feeling somewhat ‘holier than thou’ on my raw food diet and alienated stance against conventional medical practices and pharmaceuticals. I also sat there with more than a healthy scepticism, as I was acutely cautious of anyone masquerading as a teacher but who was in truth a hidden guru, for I had sat at the foot of such a one for 5 years in Japan and was not about to be fooled again.
