Cake for Breakfast

by Anne Mallat

I used to love eating cake for breakfast.

When I was younger, I would save a piece of my birthday cake and eat it the next morning. It was the best part of my birthday. Really!

When I was older, it became cake and coffee. I would skip breakfast and go straight to morning tea. It was my favourite meal of the day.

I came to realise I was using food.

I was using food to pick me up in the mornings, to fuel me through the day, to reward myself at night for a hard day’s work. I was using food because I was exhausted. I was also using food to dull my feelings, to comfort myself, to sweeten my sadness. Continue reading “Cake for Breakfast”

Help!… I was Part of a Cult

By Joel L (Western Australia)

Not so long ago I managed to escape from a large and very powerful cult. I was born into this cult so grew up not knowing any better but still the hold it had over me was strong and my parents and siblings are still part of it.

There were strict rules about who I should and shouldn’t marry, there were clear rules about what I should and shouldn’t do on any given day. We would attend ‘Prayer Meetings’ where one of the church leaders would share interpretations from the bible and implore us to ‘be better people’ (and give money of course). The church leader would be positioned as the one that understood ‘the word’ and would interpret it for us (only males were allowed to have this role). Continue reading “Help!… I was Part of a Cult”

Universal Medicine – CULT? … I Don’t See How

by Adam Warburton

Over the past few days, a number of articles have been posted by the Sydney Morning Herald and other smaller newspapers accusing Universal Medicine of being a cult, followed by further accusations about its so called followers, and the fact that they refer to their “cult leader” as the one. The original article in the Sun Herald based much of its findings on the reports of a small hand-full of disgruntled people, and made further claims through insinuation that Serge Benhayon was a money making relationship destroying cult leader.

My experience is that this is a complete and utter fabrication and total misrepresentation of the truth. I have been attending lectures presented by Universal Medicine for over six years now, and feel I am therefore in a position of some authority to comment on the many mis-truths that have been presented in these articles based on my first hand experience.  Continue reading “Universal Medicine – CULT? … I Don’t See How”

We All Have a Part to Play Here on Earth

by Sharon Maree Bisset, Ontario, Canada

My name is Sharon Maree Bisset and I live in Ontario, Canada. I am an Australian living abroad and while on a recent visit home I attended several of the Universal Medicine discussions and groups. The people I met were very open, caring and easy to get to know. The topics of the talks I attended spoke very clearly to me of love and gentleness and how to take care to slow down in my life and enjoy my relationship with myself, others and God. Each topic brought me closer to the realisation that we all have a part to play here on Earth, firstly to ourselves by keeping our bodies healthy, then to others and then to our environment. I have never Met any of You – the Love Felt is Enough

by Susie

I have never met any of you; have never attended a workshop; have had no actual contact with students except with my daughter Rosalie Nicholson who is a student. All I have heard are audios and I had some email interchanges with Serge Benhayon. Continue reading “I have never Met any of You – the Love Felt is Enough”

Seek out Universal Medicine & Discover the Truth they Stand for

by Catherine Wood

To whom it may concern.

I am a student of the Esoteric and have been involved with Universal Medicine since August 2011. I have participated in four workshops and had several one on one sessions at the clinic in Goonellabah.

I can say without reservation that from my experience this is a business which operates with the highest level of integrity, professionalism and care.

When I have called the clinic for a session, to book a workshop or a subscription, I have always received prompt, courteous, kind and highly efficient service. The telecommunications industry could learn a lot from these guys!

The workshops are presented professionally and efficiently in appropriate venues. They run on time, with regular breaks for refreshments and meals and there are always practitioners on hand to deal with any questions you may have. The sessions at the clinic are of the same professional standard, with a respect and level of care that I have not experienced elsewhere.
