Let’s Get Back to a True Democracy

by Michael Goodhart, Vermont, U.S.

The recent actions of the Australian media, and namely David Millikan, when he orchestrated a military-style surprise attack with a well-known major news station on the Esoteric Medicine presentation by Serge Benhayon on Oct. 12th, struck me as a scene out of the history books – where many groups of people all over the world were persecuted for pursuing their own spiritual or religious beliefs (such as Catholics attacking Muslims during the Crusades, or the same rounding up and elimination of the Cathars). Ambushed

By Kirsten Roslyn, A Woman, Mother & fellow Human Being

On Friday 12th October 2012 I attended what was supposed to be a presentation on Esoteric Medicine being delivered by Serge Benhayon of Universal Medicine: instead I witnessed first hand an ambush by David Millikan, who by his own admission had been sent by a TV station. David had misled and blatantly lied to Mr. Benhayon for the sole purpose of manufacturing dramatised footage to be used in conjunction with, what I soon came to see, would be the fabrication of a story of lies and mistruths about Serge Benhayon and  Universal Medicine. David Millikan: Digest This! (Part 2)

by Nina Stabey, BcHSci, Goonellabah, Australia

David Millikan has decided in his own head that Universal Medicine is a cult. I beg to differ…

In his own words Millikan says, “Cults have one thing in common… You have got to hold before a person some glittering prize, some hope of salvation or some hope of healing, some tangible hope such that they are prepared to make quite extraordinary sacrifices in terms of their own well-being.” (Conversations with Richard Fidler, ABC, 29 November 2006.) Keyboard Cowards, bullet-point warfare… and why I will never stop loving men

By Rebecca Baldwin, Internet Professional, Goonellabah, NSW

Lately I have seen some pretty horrific treatment of women. I have watched some close female friends get belittled, intimidated and demeaned online and off, and in the national mainstream media.

Mostly this has been instigated by ‘Keyboard Cowards’. Men who use text messages, emails and blogging to debase, harass and intimidate their former partners, and when they are called to account they act as though it’s ‘dramatic’ to call this abuse.

But Keyboard Cowards are not representative of all men, and in fact in recent times I have been more inspired by real men in real life. Continue reading “Keyboard Cowards, bullet-point warfare… and why I will never stop loving men”

Without Love the World is a Very Unpleasant Place

by Eva Rygg, Oslo, Norway.

It is absolutely horrendous to hear about what is happening with media attacks as well as internet and personal attacks on our fellow students and friends in Australia. Don’t think for a second that because we’re on the other side of the world we are not equally affected. Continue reading “Without Love the World is a Very Unpleasant Place”

Cult Expert?… Millikan’s Integrity In Question

by Desiree Delaloye, Goonellabah, NSW, Australia

What happened on the evening of the 12th October 2012 at the Universal Medicine – Esoteric Medicine presentation in Lennox Head was deeply disturbing to me as a paying audience member, a human being and as an Australian citizen.

David Millikan, a so called ‘expert on cults’ had asked to speak with the audience in attendance under the guise of openly researching our lifestyle choices to expand his insights and gather material for a book that he claims to be writing.

Millikan spoke with Serge Benhayon before the event, claiming that he was interested, and open, and willing to hear everyone’s views and understanding, when all along all that he was truly interested in doing was not reporting any truth, but fabricating his next big ‘Cult Bust’ explosive TV show to boost his reputation as a leading ‘expert’ in the field.
