Letter to the Courier Mail: Misrepresentation of Universal Medicine and Denigration of Women

by Victoria Carter, Pottsville Beach, NSW  Australia

To editor-in-chief of News Qld, David Fagan & the editor of the Courier Mail, Michael Crutcher

Re: “New age ‘medicine’ of Serge Benhayon leaves trail of broken families”

I’m sure you have by now received countless responses regarding the scale of irresponsible journalism inherent in this article, let alone the sheer fabrications. Your writers, Josh Robertson & Liam Walsh, should they have set out to do any true research in the first place, would have found that allegations such as “cult” couldn’t be further from the actual truth. Clearly this ‘piece’ has one agenda only – to fill a ‘sensationalist’ quota in your publication, and intentionally or not, to continue a smear campaign initiated against Universal Medicine (UniMed) in recent times. What The Dalai Lama Has to Say About The Media

by Gayle Cue, Bangalow, NSW

“The power of media, whether direct or indirect, is a real power which acts on us, which modifies our behavior, our tastes and probably our thoughts. Like all authority, it cannot be applied at random. Otherwise, that power could become arbitrary and irresponsible. The power gives media people responsibility comparable to religious or political responsibility. In their own way they contribute to the establishment and maintenance of a human community. The well-being of that community should be their first concern.”1 Continue reading “What The Dalai Lama Has to Say About The Media”

Be Respectful, Courier Mail – Serge Benhayon Is Showing Us Something Important

To the Courier Mail,

I am writing regarding the article New age ‘medicine’ of Serge Benhayon leaves trail of broken families written by Josh Robertson and Liam Walsh and published by you at 12am on 8 September, 2012.

I am a 19 year-old student who has known Serge Benhayon for more than a year. It really is sad to see the mistruths being spread in this article without any respect to Serge, Universal Medicine or us.

My Life Now – a Very Different Picture

By Irene Sheard

I have recently observed the false and shocking allegations made towards Serge Benhayon, his family and Universal Medicine in various press articles and also on television, and would like to share my experience and appreciation of Serge and the Universal Medicine team.

I came to live in Goonellabah, N.S.W. three years ago, and not long after heard an interview with Serge on the radio and I felt that what he was saying made so much sense. I then started to attend sessions with one of the practitioners at the Universal Medicine Clinic, and also presentations by Serge Benhayon. Continue reading “My Life Now – a Very Different Picture”

Who to Believe? The Choice is Clear

by P.H., Brisbane, Australia

In response to the recent media reports regarding Universal Medicine and Serge Benhayon:

I have been associated with Universal Medicine for about four years. In that time, I have never heard any mention of ‘curing’ cancer. What I have heard are teachings that encourage people to live in a more loving and harmonious way, with themselves and with others. I have witnessed many resolve long-term issues through this process. I have seen my own life develop and change as a result. My own personal journey has allowed me to build a life that is more loving, and while there is always room for improvement, I feel better on many levels in my life as a result of attending workshops, retreats and sessions with practitioners of various esoteric modalities. What I have Learned from Universal Medicine

by Nicole Randolph

You may wonder what have I received as a result of being open to what Serge Benhayon presents and offers as a healer and example of love in motion.

The answer is – CHOICE.

I can now make the choice to recognise and feel the truth in my heart and  build a momentum of self love, when the willingness to commit and choose love is greater than the desire to self harm and seek distraction and numbing. Continue reading “What I have Learned from Universal Medicine”
