What I was Missing was Inside Me all Along

by Kirsten Roslyn Barrett

It was in April 2009 when I first met Serge Benhayon whilst attending my very first Universal Medicine course. Up until that time in my life I had been obsessed with being of service to others. I had studied and practised Chinese Reflexology, Reiki, Angel Therapy, NLP (Neuro-linguistic programming), Kinesiology, Iridology, did psychic readings and was also an ordained Christian Spiritual Minister holding weekly services. But nothing that I did, studied or read truly answered that ‘call’ from deep within. I had a constant feeling that that something was missing and unanswered, if you will.

Weighing in at a hefty 155 plus kgs, I was smiling on the outside whilst working extremely hard at burying the sadness, pain, hurt, anger, emptiness, self-loathing and lack of love in my body – whilst all along believing I was helping others deal with theirs. So Where are All the Men?

The erroneous focus of recent media on the high percentage of women attending Universal Medicine has been so eloquently dispelled in previous posts but it does beg the question, “So where are all the Men?”.

As a man who has chosen to test the teachings of Universal Medicine for himself, rather than relying on the second hand views of others, I found one thing incredibly confronting… Love as I knew it, was totally back to front. Continue reading “So Where are All the Men?”

Why didn’t I Recognise that I Deserve More in life?

by Angie, Australia

During the last 15 years, I have worked in mainstream alternative medicine clinics that have offered chiropractic, acupuncture, musculoskeletal therapy, kinesiology, as well as detox and weight loss programs.

As it was one of my duties to assist clients with their program, it was important for me to have experienced this for myself as well. I was overweight and most certainly could benefit from a thorough detox. Of course, at the end of each program, I could expect wondrous results… to feel vital, drop a dress size, and much happier within myself. Guess what… it didn’t happen!

Then along came a practitioner who had also trained with Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine, offering us a treatment. I took up the offer and had no expectations. This was a new experience and sometimes it felt really weird, but my body felt light and gentle, and I realised that this was the real ‘ME’ without all of the impositions of life. I had not experienced anything as profound as this before. This was such a contrast to my experience of everyday life, as well as the end result of the detox / weight loss program that I had been on. And all this revealed within a one hour session! Continue reading “Why didn’t I Recognise that I Deserve More in life?”

Unfolding of the Truth: Anecdotal Evidence Gathers

by Peter Siefken, Australia

As the famous German philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer said towards the end of the 18th Century,

“All truth goes through three stages, first it is ridiculed, next it is violently opposed, and lastly it is accepted as being self evident”.

Even though the work of Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine may seem unconventional to the consciousness of the majority of society today, the anecdotal evidence appears to be ever increasing with regards to his work. Continue reading “Unfolding of the Truth: Anecdotal Evidence Gathers”

Esoteric Breast Massage: A Wonderful Tool Alongside Conventional Medicine

by Donna Gianniotis, Australia

Four and a half years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was 33 at the time. It came as a shock as I thought that I lived a healthy lifestyle. I was a yoga teacher, ate a ‘healthy diet’, exercised, meditated, and practised yoga. However, I knew from the moment of the diagnosis that this wasn’t something that happened to me. I had a feeling somewhere deep in my body that this was the result of how I had been living.

I spent the year going through conventional treatments, surgery, chemotherapy, radiation and IVF to freeze my eggs. I also searched for answers as to the underlying root cause of breast cancer.

It was a year or so later that I came to the work of Universal Medicine and Serge Benhayon. I remember sitting at the first Esoteric Medicine presentation that I attended in person that was presented by Serge. I connected strongly to what was being presented in regard to the need for women to self-nurture; it wasn’t the first time that I had heard this, but it just seemed to resonate much more deeply that night, I knew it in my body to be true. It felt as though Serge was talking directly to me. Continue reading “Esoteric Breast Massage: A Wonderful Tool Alongside Conventional Medicine”

An Educator Speaks: The Ripple Effect of Care & Wellbeing in our Education System

by NB (40) – Early Years Classroom Teacher and Beginning Teachers Mentor

I am writing in response to the current news coverage and portrayal of Universal Medicine. Having worked in education over the past twenty years in a number of classrooms, administration and leadership roles, I felt very disheartened in the way the system was changing not only through the current transition into the National Curriculum but the general level of wellbeing of myself and my colleagues. The rate of illness, exhaustion and overall lack of staff morale is staggering.

Experiencing some health issues I became aware of the workshops provided by Universal Medicine, and attended some workshops and private sessions at the clinic. The work of the clinicians was conducted with the utmost respect and I was lovingly supported through each session and the choices that I had made. Through the teachings I was able to recognise the need for me to bring balance back into my life by developing a healthy level of self-care and regard which naturally had a rippling effect in my work life.
